Abstract

In Indonesia, presidential elections are held every five years. In 2024, presidential elections will begin again. The president is the leader of a country who can move his people to be able to build his country to be advanced and good in the eyes of the world. The productive population in Asia, including Indonesia, is mostly occupied by millennials. Millennials can contribute to the development of the country. The names of the presidential candidates for 2024 have also been published in the media. Therefore, the authors are interested in examining how millennials perceive the leadership style of Indonesia's presidential candidates in 2024.This research method is qualitative with random sampling of informants. Informants from this study were the millennial group where the researchers conducted interviews in collecting data. This research then produced several findings. Millennials' perception of the leadership style of the Indonesian presidential candidate in 2024 is that the candidate for the country's leader they choose has a populist and democratic leadership style, has good interactive communication skills to the people, is able to motivate especially millennials through social media, has good analytical skills and makes decisions quickly overcome the problems that exist in the community and management skills are also good based on the experience they have. Millennials also give the perception that if their presidential candidate is elected as the leader of the country, the leadership style must be dynamic to keep up with the times.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the financial performance of Garuda Indonesia Airline during the pandemic COVID-19. The research methodology is a comprehensive analysis of the Garuda Indonesia’s financial statements and annual reports listed at Indonesian Stock Exchange. The financial statements were analyzed to evaluate the financial performance and to assess the severity level of the COVID-19 pandemic impact on corporate income and profit. The findings of this study showed the deteriorating of the liquidity, solvency and profitability positions after the emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic. The findings from aggregate analysis of financial performance showed that in 2020 the corporate lost USD2.48 bilions and the current liabilities exceeded its current assets as much as USD3.8 billions. Garuda Indonesia experienced negative equities of USD1.9 billions, and requires operational strategies such as cost efficiency, debt restructuring and good corporate governance in order to pay its debts on creditors, lessors and vendors. The practical implications are an increase in understanding of financial performance, allowing the corporate managers to improve their financial managements, and adopting the right strategy in overcoming its financial difficulties during the COVID-19 pandemic

Abstract

Perilaku asertif mendorong individu untuk berperilaku terpuji dalam berinteraksi dengan individu lainnya. Perilaku tegas, jujur dan saling menghargai dapat meningkatkan sikap toleransi dan terbuka dalam penyampaian informasi. Perilaku ini menciptakan suasana yang harmonis dan nyaman sehingga dapat memacu peningkatan prestasi kinerja konsultan Multi Level Marketing (MLM). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan populasi penelitian sebanyak 125 orang konsultan MLM. Data diambil berdasarkan kuesioner mengenai perilaku assertiveness dan prestasi kerja konsultan MLM. Berdasarkan hasil uji regresi linier sederhana didapatkan hasil bahwa asertif berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi kerja konsultan MLM.

Abstract

Tulisan ini akan mengulas bagaimana seorang pemimpin akan mengambil keputusan etis dilihat dari sudut pandang kepemimpinan, budaya dan iklim organisasi. Kajian utamanya akan difokuskan pada keyakinan etis kepemimpinan dengan model pengambilan keputusan etis dalam perspektif Kohlberg. Tulisan ini menggunakan metode kajian pustaka, dengan pendekatan kualitatif - refektif. Sumber data utama adalah naskah - naskah penelitian terdahulu untuk menganalisis relevansi antara kepemimpinan dan budaya, serta budaya dan iklim organisasi. Selanjutnya, tulisan ini juga membahas relevansi model pengambilan keputusan etis Kohlberg, dalam menciptakan kepemimpinan organisasi yang bersifat etis. Akhirnya, makalah ini menyarankan untuk menciptakan iklim etis melalui budaya dan kepemimpinan etis.
