Abstract

This study aims to determine and examine teacher competence and character values' effect on teacher performance and its implications for children's learning outcomes in elementary schools in Cileunyi sub-district, Bandung regency. This research was conducted in Elementary Schools, Cileunyi District, Bandung Regency, with a sample of 93 teachers. The research method used is a descriptive method of analysis using path analysis. The results of this study are as follows: there is an effect of teacher competence (X1) on teacher performance (Y) with a total influence of 32.8%. Character values (X2) on teacher performance (Y) with an overall influence of 30.47%. There is an effect of teacher competence (X1), and character values (X2), simultaneously on teacher performance (Y) with a total influence of 63.3%. And the remaining 36.7% is a variable that is not examined in this study that affects teacher performance; 6) there is an effect of teacher performance (Y) on children's learning outcomes (Z) of 67.7%. And the remaining 32.3% is a variable that is not examined in this study that affects children's learning outcomes. This study concludes that it proves that there is an influence between teacher competence and character values on teacher performance and has implications for children's learning outcomes in elementary schools. Cileunyi District, Bandung Regency.

Abstract

Organizational progress and decline depends on the leadership qualities of a leader. Viewed from the point of view of each leader always placed at one very important point. The role of the leader in an organization or group is very important. Because in that role, a leader will help the organization realize its vision and mission. The objectives of this study can be formulated as follows: To determine the Effect of Leadership Functions on Employee Performance of Badan Pelayanan Perizinan Terpadu Dan Penanaman Modal Kota Cimahi. This Research Method is descriptive quantitative research, which describes the relationship between variables by analyzing numerical data using statistical methods through hypothesis testing. In this study took the entire employee population in the Office of Badan Pelayanan Perizinan Terpadu Dan Penanaman Modal Kota Cimahi, which consists of 50 people. The results of simple correlation analysis show that the role of leadership function is positive and significant at 56.4%, meaning that the roles and functions of leadership are very well implemented in the Badan Pelayanan Perizinan Terpadu Dan Penanaman Modal Kota Cimahi, while employee performance is 52.9%; meaning that the development of performance is determined or influenced by leadership roles.

Abstract

Competence is an essential part of completing the organization's tasks that need to be achieved by individuals in the organization. This study aims to determine the description of the competence of cooperative management. The researcher used a survey approach to find out the description of the competence of the cooperative management. Respondents in this study were 318 members of cooperatives in the organizational environment in the city of Bandung. The study results illustrate that the competence of the management is in the reasonably good category. However, there are still weak aspects that illustrate that the competencies of members and leaders do not fully have the expected competencies, such as behavior that reflects competence in the field of cooperatives, which is still very rarely found in members and also cooperative management apart from the way members think, and also leaders in determining actions for cooperatives felt to be still not fully optimized. Therefore, researchers recommend that efforts improve cooperative behavior within the leadership by appointing cooperative administrators who have the characteristics needed to lead cooperatives. Their outpouring of hearts, thoughts, and behavior can describe a strong character.

Abstract

Individual motivation in the organization is a significant contribution to improving employee performance and work discipline, where the more disciplined employees are, the better their performance will be. This study aims to determine the effect of motivation and work discipline on employee performance. The research method used is a survey research method with a sample of employees who work at a credit guarantee company in Bandung. The sample in this study was 40 employees. Researchers use path analysis techniques to answer the problem formulation that has been set previously. The results showed a significant effect of motivation and work discipline on employee performance. The study results recommend that the company further improve employee motivation and work discipline to achieve optimally.

Abstract

The excellent public service is a characteristic of a good governance. Based on this statement, the increasing quality of public service is a must. The goal of this research is discovering the impact of leadership function, organizational culture and organizational commitment to employee performance. This research employs quantitative approach. The object of this study is a public office in Cimahi. The result of this study show there is a significant effect of leadership function, organizational culture organizational commitment to employee performance. It leads to employee’s optimum perfomance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between Entrepreneur Characteristics and Business Performance variables, the relationship between entrepreneurial motivation variables and MSME business performance. In this study using quantitative methods. This is because the research data is in the form of numbers and analysis uses statistics, in collecting data using research instruments, data analysis is quantitative, with the aim of testing the established hypothesis, is experimental/survey, if the problem is clear. This type of research uses associative research. serves to explain, predict and control a symptom. This method is used to answer the formulation of the problem, namely knowing the effect of entrepreneurial characteristics and motivation on SMEs business performance. In this study, researchers used a questionnaire data collection technique (questionnaire). Questionnaire is a data collection technique which is done by giving a set of questions or written statements to respondents to answer. The statement questionnaire in this study was measured using a Likert 5 scale. The data analysis of this study used the smartPLS 4.0 software (Purwanto et al., 2020) and the data was obtained through the distribution of online questionnaires with social media to 300 respondents who were selected using a simple random sampling method. Based on the results of data processing and analysis that has been done, the conclusions of this study are: 1. Entrepreneurial Characteristics Affect Business Performance. In this case the characteristics of entrepreneurs are very good. Entrepreneurial characteristics can be seen from the spirit of work and hard work to realize desires. 2. Entrepreneur motivation influences business performance. In this case the motivation of entrepreneurs is very high. Entrepreneur motivation can be seen from being an entrepreneur because he has a desire to be rich. The business performance variable is also very high. This is evident from my business has the ability to compete.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi pedagogik dan motivasi ekstrinsik terhadap kinerja dan penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor yang paling dominan pengaruhnya antara kompetensi pedagogik dan motivasi ekstrinsik terhadap kinerja guru. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dan verifikatif di kompetensi pedagogik dan motivasi ekstrinsik terhadap kinerja guru dalam usaha memperoleh data dan informasi yang akan mendukung penelitian ini yaitu dengan mengambil objek penelitian adalah sebanyak 30 guru menggunakan kuesioner yang ditujukan untuk para guru pada salah satu Sekolah Dasar Negeri di Kota Bandung. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan analisis jalur terlihat bahwa variabel kompetensi pedagogik (X1) mempunyai pengaruh langsung sebesar 25,9%, pengaruh tidak langsung melalui hubungan motivasi ekstrinsik (X2) sebesar 16,1%, total pengaruh sebesar 42%. Motivasi ekstrinsik (X2) mempunyai pengaruh langsung sebesar 17,9% dan pengaruh tidak langsung melalui kompetensi pedagogik (X1) sebesar 16,1%, total pengaruh sebesar 34%. Hasil hubungan koefisien determinasi (Rsquare) yang dinyatakan dalam persentase menggambarkan besarnya kontribusi semua variabel bebas yaitu kompetensi pedagogik (X1), dan motivasi ekstrinsik (X2) dalam menentukan variabel kinerja guru adalah sebesar 0,760 atau 76% sedangkan faktor lain yang tidak mempengaruhi kinerja yang tidak diteliti ditunjukan oleh nilai ? = 0,240 atau 24%. Adapun kesimpulan dan saran-saran yang didapat dipertimbangkan sehubungan dengan hasil penelitian adalah manajemen sebaiknya mampu menjaga dan meningkatkan kedua variabel di atas.

Abstract

This research aims to know the effect of Work-Life Balance and Work Environment on Employee Job Satisfaction in one of the manufacturing companies in the city of Bandung. Moreover, this research analyzes the factor that has the most dominant influence between Work-Life Balance and Work Environment on Employee Job Satisfaction in a manufacturing company in the city of Bandung, which is the object of research for as many as 60 employees using a questionnaire. Based on path analysis research, the work-life balance and work environment variables on job satisfaction in one of the manufacturing companies in the city of Bandung are declared valid. As for the conclusion, suggestions concerning the research results are paying attention to Work-Life Balance and Work Environment to increase Employee Job Satisfaction.
