Abstract

Behavioral finance approach is one of the important breakthroughs in the development of financial studies. Responsible financial behavior related to financial management and decision making processes and can allocate revenue appropriately and effectively. This study aims to analyze the financial performance of meatballs maker business in the city of Semarang. The research used qualitative method, data collecting technique through in-depth interview conducted on key informant. The informants included Chairman of Noodle and Meatball Society, Chairman of Manunggal Jaya Noodle and Meatball, Chairman of Noodles Society and Sido Rukun Bakso and Chairman of Noodles and Meatballs Traders Association (APMISO). Data analyze techniques using Miles and Hubermans model. Test the validity of data by credibility test through extension of observation and triangulation. Research results revealed that the owner of UMKM Bakso in Semarang City area is divided into three groups of UMKM Bakso where masin each group there are three clusters in managing their finances that is traditional, semi modern and modern. The result of triangulation shows that financial knowledge, financial management and financial behavior are interrelated to improve financial performance of UMKM Bakso owner, because financial knowledge, financial management and financial behavior can determine the direction of where the company will be run to achieve business goals, so it is necessary to make various efforts to improve the financial knowledge of UMKM Bakso owner. Therefore stakeholders should consider developing activities to improve financial knowledge for UMKM owners so that they are able to manage finances in an orderly and orderly manner and are able to perform well decisions. Activities to improve knowledge in managing finances can be training, seminars, and socialization.Keywords: Financial Behavioral, Financial Management, Financial Knowledge, Financial Performance

Abstract

Many students wish to continue their studies but choose a different college or intend to do brand switching. On the other hand, universities want students to continue their studies back at their home institutions. This study aims to analyze the effect of perceptions of service quality, customer dissatisfaction and variety-seeking on Brand Switching Intention in Higher Education. The population in this study were students who were still active in higher education. Samples were taken as many as 50 people with the purposive sampling method. The criteria for respondents were students who had an interest in further study. The analysis method used is multiple linear regression. The results showed that the perception of service quality did not affect brand switching intention. Meanwhile, customer dissatisfaction and Variety seeking have a positive and significant effect on brand switching intention. The coefficient of determination is 0,544, of the variation in brand switching intention, which the three independent variables can explain. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh langsung profitabilitas, ukuran perusahaan terhadap financial distress. Selain itu untuk mengetahui pengaruh tidak langsung profitabilitas dan ukuran perusahaan terhadap financial distress melalui nilai perusahaan. Jenis penelitian ini ialah kuantitatif dengan sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 33 perusahaan dari populasi sebanyak 45 perusahaan sektor transportasi yang terdaftar di BEI 2019-2021. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder yang dipublikasikan oleh Bursa Efek Indonesia. Analisis data dilakukan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif menggunakan eviews versi 12. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Profitabilitas berpengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan. (2) Ukuran Perusahaan tidak berpengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan. (3) Profitabilitas berpengaruh terhadap financial distress. (4) Ukuran perusahaan tidak berpengaruh terhadap financial distress. (5) Nilai perusahaan berpengaruh terhadap financial distress. (6) Nilai Perusahaan tidak mampu memediasi hubungan profitabilitas terhadap financial distress. (7) Nilai perusahaan tidak mampu memediasi hubungan ukuran perusahaan terhadap financial distress.This study aims to determine the direct effect of profitability and company size on financial distress, in addition to knowing the indirect effect of profitability and company size on financial distress through firm value. This type of research is quantitative, with a sample of 33 companies from a population of 45 transportation sector companies listed on the IDX 2019-2021. This study uses secondary data published by the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Data analysis was carried out using a quantitative approach using Eviews version 12. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Profitability affects firm value. (2) Company size does not affect firm value. (3) Profitability affects financial distress. (4) Firm size does not affect financial distress. (5) Firm value affects financial distress. (6) Firm value cannot mediate the relationship between profitability and financial distress. (7) Firm value cannot mediate the relationship between firm size and financial distress.

Abstract

Kelurahan Sendangmulyo Kota Semarang sebagian besar penduduknya bergantung pada pengelolaan usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM). Di masa pandemi, tingkat penjualan dari UMKM menurun dan belum bisa pulih seperti sediakala. Strategi yang dapat digunakan untuk memasarkan produk yang dijual agar jangkauannya lebih luas adalah social media marketing. UMKM masih menggunakan strategi pemasaran tradisional, pengetahuan yang terbatas dan kurangnya keahlian dalam memanfaatkan pemasaran media sosial. UMKM belum bisa mengoperasikan toko online. Pengabdian masyarakat ini memberikan literasi, pengetahuan dan keterampilan berupa penyuluhan social media marketing bagi para pelaku UMKM Sendangmulyo Semarang. Solusi yang ditawarkan adalah meningkatkan kapasitas pengelola UMKM dengan memberikan literasi pemasaran media sosial. Metode kegiatannya melalui ceramah tentang social media marketing dan praktek mengoperasikan toko dan transaksi online. Kegiatan ini berdampak pada pemahaman para pengelola UMKM tentang pemasaran media sosial, bedanya dengan traditional marketing. Kegiatan ini memberikan pengetahuan tentang manfaat pemasaran media sosial dan meningkatkan keterampilan dalam mengoperasikan media sosial sebagai sarana pemasaran dan penjualan. The most of population in Sendangmulyo district, Semarang City depends on the management of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). During the pandemic, the level of sales from MSMEs decreased and has not been able to recover as before. The strategy that can be used to market the products being sold so that the reach is wider is social media marketing. MSMEs is still use traditional marketing strategies, limited knowledge and lack of expertise in utilizing social media marketing. MSMEs have not been able to operate online stores. This community service provides literacy, knowledge and skills in the form of counseling on social media marketing for MSMEs actors in the Sendangmulyo Semarang City. The solution offered is to increase the capacity of MSME managers by providing social media marketing literacy. The method of activity is through lectures on social media marketing knowledge and the practice of operating stores and online transactions. This activity has an impact on the understanding of MSMEs managers about what social media marketing is, the difference from traditional marketing. It also provides knowledge of the benefits of social media marketing and increases skills in operating social media as a means of marketing and sales.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to build a superior strategy in the company precast concrete with a Resource Based View approach at PT. ABX, as well as generate strategies in exploiting resources, capabilities, competitive advantages to create sustainable strategies for the company. The research method used is qualitative based on phenomenology. The research results show that to improve employee performance, it is necessary to carry out work evaluations and targets. Combine the company's human resources and physical resources by placing employees who are competent and experienced in their fields. To increase the knowledge, skills and abilities of employees, companies need to conduct training. To expedite the precast concrete production process, companies need to have a batching plant. Evaluate the production process and routinely carry out material tests and concrete tests to maintain quality and quality. Promotion through digital media, such as Google, websites and other social media. Maintain product quality and quality by using the best quality iron and casting using ready mix. Carrying out product development by innovating molds and precast concrete products to make them more efficient by conducting research on product structure and composition without compromising quality. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of operating cash flow, operating cycle, debt level and sales volatility on earning persistence with the audit committee as a moderating variable. The population in this study consisted of 62 real estate and property sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange with an observation period starting from 2016-2021. The sampling method used purposive sampling. The number of samples of companies that meet the research criteria are 36 companies. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The statistical tool used is SPSS 23. The results showed that operating cash flow, operating cycle, level of debt had no effect on earning persistence, while sales volatility had an effect on earning persistence. The audit committee as a moderating variable is not able to moderate the effect of operating cash flow, operating cycle, and debt level, while the audit committee as a moderating variable is able to moderate the effect of sales volatility on earning persistence.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh arus kas operasi, siklus operasi, tingkat hutang dan volatilitas penjualan terhadap earning persistence dengan komite audit sebagai variabel moderasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 62 perusahaan sektor real estate dan properti yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia dengan periode pengamatan mulai dari 2016-2021. Metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Jumlah sampel perusahaan yang memenuhi kriteria penelitian adalah sebanyak 36 perusahaan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda. Alat statistik yang digunakan yaitu SPSS 23. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa arus kas kegiatan operasi, siklus operasi, tingkat hutang tidak berpengaruh terhadap earning persistence, sedangkan volatilitas penjualan berpengaruh terhadap earning persistence. Komite audit sebagai variabel moderasi tidak mampu memoderasi pengaruh arus kas kegiatan operasi, siklus operasi, dan tingkat hutang, sedangkan Komite audit sebagai variabel moderasi mampu memoderasi pengaruh volatilitas penjualan terhadap earning persistence.

Abstract

This study is based on quantitative research based on the fact that the company's sales have been unstable for several years due to national phenomena. The purpose of research on the problem is to analyze the impact of business strategy on organizational performance. This study used questionnaires or interviews with respondents, measuring variables using intervals. The technique used is descriptive analysis. The results showed that the business strategy variable did not have a significant effect on organizational performance. And competitive advantage cannot affect the company's performance and business strategy. In short, business strategy variables do not affect competitive advantage. In other words, the higher the existing strategic effort, the smaller the influence of new competitive advantage. Using resource-based theory as the main theory, resource-based theory is a theory which states that companies can: Increase competitive advantage. you by developing resources that help you survive in the long term. Abstract

Sumber daya manusia dalam sebuah organisasi merupakan aspek yang sangat penting untuk menentukan efektif atau tidaknya sebuah organisasi. Kinerja suatu perusahaan ditentukan oleh perilaku dan kondisi para karyawan. Tujuan penelitian adalah menganalisis pengaruh sarana prasarana, iklim kerja dan kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian explanatory yaitu menjelaskan pengaruh antar variabel tertentu melalui pengujian hipotesis. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah pegawai pada instansi Kantor Kecamatan Pedurungan Kota Semarang sebanyak 80 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu metode sensus, sehingga seluruh populasi dijadikan sampel. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dengan tujuan memperoleh bahan-bahan yang relevan akurat dan terpercaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sarana prasarana dan iklim kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja. Sarana prasarana, iklim kerja dan kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan secara konsisten menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan model pengaruh bebas sarana prasarana, iklim kerja dan kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja mendapatkan hasil yang sesuai.Human resources in an organization is a critical aspect of determining the effectiveness or failure of an organization. The behavior and conditions of the employees determine the performance of a company. The research aims to analyze the influence of infrastructure, work climate, and job satisfaction on employee performance. This study uses explanatory research, namely explaining the influence of particular variables through hypothesis testing. The population of this study was 80 employees at the Pedurungan District Office, Semarang City. The sampling technique is the census method so that the entire population is used as a sample. The data collection method uses a questionnaire to obtain relevant, accurate, and reliable materials. The results showed that infrastructure and work climate positively and significantly affected job satisfaction. Infrastructure, work climate, and job satisfaction significantly positively affect employee performance. The research results consistently show that developing a model of the unrestricted influence of infrastructure, work climate, and job satisfaction on performance gets the appropriate results.

Abstract

The Directorate General of Taxation is the agency responsible for managing state revenues through Service Offices in each region. Employees who work in the tax service office are required to perform well for the benefit of the institution. This study serves to analyze the relationship between emotional intelligence and competency on the performance of East Semarang Pratama Tax Service Office (KPP) employees with Organizational Citizenship Behavior as a mediating variable. This study used a quantitative method using a questionnaire to collect the data. The sample in this study is 108 obtained through the census method. The analysis used to process the data is regression analysis with SPSS 16. The results of this study indicate that emotional intelligence, competence and Organizational Citizenship Behavior affect employee performance. Emotional Intelligence and Competence also influence Organizational Citizenship Behavior. Furthermore, Organizational Citizenship Behavior is able to mediate the relationship between emotional intelligence and competency on employee performance.

Abstract

Employees who work in the tax service office are required to perform well for the benefit of the institution espescially to increase state revenue. This study purpose to analyze the relationship between procedural and distributive justice on the employee’s performance of Salatiga Pratama Tax Service Office (KPP) with Employee engagement as a mediating variable. This study used a quantitative method using a questionnaire to collect the data. The sample in this study is 105 obtained through the census method. The analysis used to process the data is regression analysis with SPSS 25. The results of this study indicate that procedural justice, distributive justice and Employee engagement affect employee performance. Procedural justice and distributive justice also influence Employee engagement. Furthermore, Employee engagement is able to mediate the relationship between procedural justice and distributive justice on employee performance.
