Abstract

Kata Kunci: Kemampuan Bepikir Kritis, Model Multipel Representasi, Self Regulation ABSTRACKThe problem found at SMAN 15 Bandar Lampung is that learning activities take place not systematically and are only given assignments. In addition, educators in learning activities explain a lot of material so that there is no opportunity for students to develop self-regulation in the learning process. This study was conducted to see the effect of multiple representation models on students' critical thinking skills and self-regulation. The method used is a quasi-experimental design by taking the research sample technique, namely the cluster random sampling technique. The experimental design is in the form of Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The novelty of the dependent variable used is critical thingking skills and self-regulation. The results of the research are (1) multiple representation model has an effect on critical thinking skills and self-regulation based on the manova test of significance value. (2) The multiple representation model can increase critical thinking skills and self-regulation in biology learning activities based on the between Subject Effects test results, namely 0.000 and 0.000, which means that the hypothesis is accepted.Key words: Critical Thinking Skils, Multiple Representation Model, Self Regulation
