Abstract

Utilization of Cihonje-Paningkaban hill land to be a artisanal gold mining location raises typical behaviour patterns of society that is distinctive and different from other society. The purpose of this research is to determine the behavior patterns of Cihonje society in utilizing their environment and how the environmental meaning for society. Researchers uses qualitative methods. Data analysis using ethnoecological approach. The results showed that miners have ideas and knowledge in mining operations that are implemented in mining activities. Mining activities give positive impact related to the prosperity of society. There are also negative impact related to the envoronment arround Cihonje-Paningkaban hills which is atributed with Ratadawa story, where there will be landslide and the land surface become wide and flat in the mining location as the name of Ratadawa. Ratadawa forecast indirectly give legitimacy towards the sustainability of gold mining activities in the Cihonje-Paningkaban hills. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah melihat cara guru sosiologi menggunakan asesmen autentik pada siswa sekaligus mengetahui kendala yang dialami dalam proses penggunaan asesmen autentik tersebut. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 1 Boja. Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan kualitatifdengan fokus penelitian: (1) penggunaan asesmen autentik oleh guru sosiologi (pokok bahasan materi pembentukan kelompok sosial) (2) kendala penggunaan asesmen autentik oleh guru sosiologi (pokok bahasan materi pembentukan kelompok sosial). Teknik pengumpulan data dilaksanakan melalui observasi partisipasi, wawancara, dokumentasi. Data penelitian dianalisis dengan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian yang telah dilakukan di analisis menggunakan teori kemampuan belajar dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi belajar Robert M. Gagne. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi belajar di pilih dalam penelitian ini sebagai pendukung analisis teori kemampuan belajar Robert M. Gagne. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi belajar digunakan untuk menganalisis kendala penggunaan asesmen autentik yang dilakukan oleh guru sosiologi di SMA Negeri 1 Boja. The purpose of this study is to look at how sociology teachers use authentic assessment of the students as well as to know the constraints experienced in the process of using the authentic assessment. The research was conducted in SMA Negeri 1 Boja. The research was conducted with qualitative approach with focus of research: (1) use of authentic assessment by teacher of sociology (subject matter of formation of social group) (2) obstacle of using authentic assessment by teacher of sociology (subject matter of social group formation). Data collection techniques are conducted through participant observation, interviews, documentation. Research data is analyzed by qualitative descriptive analysis technique. The research that has been done in the analysis uses theories of learning ability and the factors that influence the learning of Robert M. Gagne. Factors that influence learning are selected in this study as a supporter of Robert M. Gagne's theory of learning ability. Factors influencing learning are used to analyze the constraints of using authentic assessment by sociology teachers in SMA Negeri 1 Boja.

Abstract

Gerakan literasi sekolah (GLS) mulai diterapkan oleh pemerintah dengan diberlakukannya Kurikulum 2013 edisi Revisi, dengan tujuan untuk membentuk budi pekerti siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persiapan sekolah, pelaksanaan, serta mengetahui kendala yang dihadapi oleh sekolah dalam menerapkan GLS. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif. Lokasi penelitian yaitu di SMA N 4 Magelang. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah Tim Literasi dan siswa SMA N 4 Magelang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa habitus literasi siswa di SMA N 4 Magelang belum sepenuhnya terbentuk, dikarenakan siswa terdapat dua kalangan yakni kalangan yang memiliki habitus membaca dan menulis baik, dan yang memiliki habitus membaca dan menulis rendah. Habitus literasi mengalami “kesuksesan” hanya pada siswa yang sebelumnya sudah memiliki habitus membaca dan menulis baik. Kendala utama yang dihadapi yakni kesadaran siswa dan guru untuk terus konsisten dalam melaksanakan kegiatan yang berhubungan dengan GLS. School literacy movement (SLM) began to be implemented by the government with the enactment of Curriculum 2013 edition revision, with the aim to form the character students. This research aims to determine the preparation of schools, the implementation, as well as knowing the obstacles face by the school in applying SLM. This research uses qualitative research. The location of the research in SMA N 4 Magelang. The subjects in this research were Literacy Team and the students in SMA N 4 Magelang. The data collection techniques used is interviews, observation, and documentation. The result of the research shows that the students' literacy habit in SMA N 4 Magelang has not been fully formed, because there are two students who have good reading and writing, and who have low reading and writing habitus. The literacy habitus experiences "success" only in students who previously had good reading and writing habitus. The main obstacle faced is the awareness of students and teachers to continue to be consistent in carrying out activities related to SLM.

Abstract

Perilaku sosial merupakan tindakan-tindakan yang berkaitan dengan segala perbuatan yang secara langsung berhubungan atau dihubungkan dengan nilai-nilai sosial yang ada dalam masyarakat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk: 1) Mengetahui bentuk perilaku sosial santri. 2) Mengetahui faktor-faktor yang membentuk perilaku sosial santri. 3) Mengetahui jenis perilaku sosial santri. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Perilaku sosial santri di Pondok Pesantren Tarbiyatul Muballighin mencerminkan sifat yang baik yaitu saling menghormati, bersikap sopan santun, saling tolong menolong, peka dan peduli terhadap sesama, serta mempunyai rasa terima kasih yang tinggi. Perilaku sosial santri dapat dilihat dari kegiatan sehari-hari yang dilakukan sebagai contoh ketika ada temannya yang sakit saling menjenguk dan merawat, memberi salam kepada sesama santri dan mencium tangan kepada yang lebih tua atau kyainya. 2) Faktor pembentuk perilaku sosial santri yang paling berpengaruh adalah perilaku sang kyai yaitu disiplin, kewibawaan, kedekatan terhadap santri, memberikan kasih sayang, dan nasihat. Menurut kyai seorang guru harus menjadi uswatun khasanah dalam kehidupan sehari-hari bagi santri-santrinya. 3) Jenis perilaku santri yang paling menonjol adalah kecenderungan perilaku dalam hubungan sosial dimana santri di Pondok Pesantren Tarbiyatul Muballighin sudah dapat hidup mandiri, dapat bergaul, ramah, dan patuh terhadap tata tertib yang dapat dilihat dari perilaku sopan santri di dalam kehidupan sehari-hari di pondok pesantren.

Abstract

PKBM Ulul Albab Kecamatan Sirampog menerapkan program pendidikan kesetaraan paket C. Dalam melaksanakan kegiatan pembelajaran, tidak sesuai dengan peraturan pemerintah. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui 1) bentuk interaksi sosial warga belajar 2) perilaku sosioemosional warga belajar 3) perilaku tugas warga belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan 1) bentuk interaksi sosial warga belajar pendidikan kesetaraan paket C di PKBM Ulul Albab terdiri dari warga belajar dengan warga belajar, warga belajar dengan tutor, warga belajar dengan kelompok, dan kelompok dengan kelompok. 2) perilaku sosioemosional warga belajar saling menunjukkan solidaritas kelompok, dramatisasi dan respon kesepakatan. 3) perilaku tugas warga belajar saling memberi dan meminta informasi. Saran bagi warga belajar harus meningkatkan kehadiran di kelas, meningkatkan interaksi khususnya aktif memberikan pendapat pada saat pembelajaran, tutor harus menerapkan metode pembelajaran diskusi, dan pengurus menerapkan program penangguhan raport dan ijazah bagi warga belajar yang sering absen mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas mengenai strategi perilaku orang tua murid terhadap kebijakan zonasi sekolah. Terdapat beberapa strategi perilaku yang dilakukan oleh orang tua murid. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk: 1) Mengetahui bentuk strategi perilaku orang tua murid terhadap kebijakan zonasi sekolah pada tingkat sekolah menengah pertama; dan 2) Mengetahui faktor-faktor yang melatarbelakangi bentuk strategi perilaku orang tua murid terhadap kebijakan zonasi sekolah pada tingkat SMP. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Strategi perilaku orang tua murid tingkat SMP di Desa Kramat secara besar terbagi menjadi 4 yaitu mendampingi anaknya pada saat belajar, Memasukan anaknya ke dalam Lembaga bimbingan belajar, membekali ilmu agama, dan menjalin komunikasi dengan orang tua di lingkungan terdekat. 2) Faktor yang melatarbelakangi bentuk perilaku sosial orang tua murid yang paling berpengaruh adalah tingkat pendapatan orang tua, budaya di dalam keluarga, lingkungan sekitar.

Abstract

The background of this study is that (1) the characteristics of sociology as subject suggest the need for multicultural-based instruction; (2) teachers have never participated in multicultural-based sociology instructional training; (3) there has not been any multicultural-based sociology instructional training management model. The objectives of this study are (1) to describe the current sociology teacher training management model; (2) to design the development of a multicultural-based sociology instructional training management model; (3) to describe the final form of the multicultural-based sociology instructional training management model. This study employed Research and Development (R & D) approach. Data were collected through interviews, closed and open questionnaires, and documentation studies. The data were then analyzed using descriptive percentages, mean analysis, and qualitative analysis techniques. The results show that (1) the current sociology teacher training management model includes four management functions: training of planning, training of organization, training of implementation, and training of evaluation; (2) the development of a multicultural-based sociology training management model includes three management functions: training of planning, training of implementation, and training of evaluation; (3) the final model of multicultural-based sociology instructional training management includes three management functions: training of planning, training of implementation, and training of evaluation. The conclusion is that the final model of the multicultural-based sociology instructional training management is effectively applied to the sociology teacher.

Abstract

This article aims to explain the participation of the community in the management and utilization of the Dana Desa (DD). This research is located in Keji Village, West Ungaran Sub-district, Semarang Regency with research subject is Keji Village and main informant is community figure, BPD and village apparatus. The type of research used is qualitative research that based its research on the description of field data. Data were obtained through observation, interview, FGD, and documentation study. The results of the study indicate that community knowledge of village funds is limited. Information about the DD management they get from village officials and other citizens through gethok tular. DD in Keji Village amounting to Rp. 608,057,000 is oriented towards infrastructure development, such as paving road, talud, and simple bridge. In the utilization of these DD, communities are involved in the whole process from planning, implementation, to monitoring and evaluation of activities. The study also highlights that community participation in Desa Keji in DD management is still limited to formal participatory activities, centered from the village staff, and administrative order.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of multicultural-based sociology learning in senior high school. The objectives of this study are: (1) To describe the sociology learning that is carried out currently; and (2) to describe the implementation of multicultural-based sociology learning. This study employed a qualitative approach to produce a description and analysis of findings. The subjects of the study were sociology teachers in Kendal Regency. The type of data collection was both in the form of quantitative data and qualitative data. The data were collected using observation and interview guidelines. Data analysis used descriptive qualitative analysis with interactive techniques. The current implementation of sociology learning is based on the learning objectives of sociology, namely to develop sociology knowledge and practice to improve students’ social skills. Based on the objectives of sociology learning, it influences the learning approaches, models, methods, media and resources, and assessment. The implementation of multicultural-based sociology learning is based on the goal of multicultural learning. The learning is addressed as an effort to develop students' ability   to view   different cultures and to be positive towards cultural, racial, and ethnic differences. Based on these learning objectives, the implementation of sociology learning differs in terms of learning approaches, models, methods, and assessments.

Abstract

Mata pelajaran Antropologi di SMA tergabung dalam kelompok IPS (Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial). Meskipun telah menjadi salah satu bagian mata pelajaran di SMA,  keberadaan mata pelajaran Antropologi tidak pernah berdiri menjadi mata pelajaran sendiri, melainkan menjadi bagian mata pelajaran Sejarah dan Sosiologi. Tujuan artikel ini adalah untuk membahas bagaimanakah keberadaan mata pelajaran antropologi di SMA setelah merger ini dan bagaimana kendala-kendala pembelajaran antropologi di SMA. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif, pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam tahun terakhir yang sibuk dengan penyempurnaan kurikulum, mata pelajaran Antropologi justru semakin termarjinalisasi. Antropologi hanya menjadi sub-bahasan  saja dalam mata pelajaran lain. Antropologi juga semakin dianggap kurang penting, padahal antropologi sangat penting dalam konteks masyarakat multikultural seperti Indonesia. Hal tersebut menyebabkan terjadinya kendala-kendala dalam proses pembelajaran di antaranya kendala struktural, kultural, dan keterbatasan sumber daya manusia.Anthropology in high school subjects is incorporated in IPS batch (Social Sciences). Although it has become one of the subjects at the high school, Anthropology is a not an independent subject.  It isonly part of History and Sociology subjects. The objective of this article is to study the existence of anthropological subjects in high school. The research method used is  qualitative approach, data collection was done by observation, interview and documentation. The results show that over the years of curriculum improvement, anthropology subjects are becoming more and more marginalised.  Anthropology is only a sub topics of other school subjects. Many regards anthropology no longer important though in fact anthropology is an important subject in a multicultural society like Indonesia. This maginalization of anthropology subject leads to other constraints in the learning process, which include structural, cultural, and human resource constraints.
