Abstract

Kata kunci: Vehicle Routing Problem, Sequential Insertion, Clarke & Wright Savings Abstract PT X is a distributor of pharmaceutical companies in Bandung. It has problem in determining the optimal route of medical products distribution, from distributor to customer. Delays often occur during the distribution of products and there are some customers are not served within a week of distribution. The route used to be done is based on experience and intuition of the driver which is why it is less effective and efficient. This problem will be solved by two methods, the Sequential Insertion and the Clarke and Wright Savings. Both methods selecting the customer site based on the shortest total time and selecting customers based on the value of time savings that generated the most effective and efficient distribution.
