Abstract

The purpose of this study is to disscussed about knowledge sharing behavior of multi language in fakta bahasa community located in Bogor. The research methodology used in this study is a qualitative method with case study approach. The data collection was done by in-depth interviews, observation, and literature. The informans are 5 members of fakta bahasa community and 2 members of the others community in Bogor. Informans choosen by purposive sampling. The result showed that norms and value in community based on rights and obligations of community’s members to share the knowledge in the language club, the method to shared the knowledge in community through the weekly discussion called clubbing, the members collaborated knowlededge has been owned with the new knowledge and use in daily activities, and social network formed by similarity interest of the language and connected by social media.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendiskusikan tentang pengetahuan perilaku berbagi dengan multi bahasa di komunitas Fakta Bahasa yang terletak di Bogor. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan menggunakan literatur. Informan terdiri dari 5 anggota komunitas Fakta Bahasa dan 2 anggota komunitas lain di Bogor. Informan dipilih berdasarkan sampel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa norma-norma dan nilai dalam komunitas berdasarkan hak dan kewajiban anggota komunitas untuk berbagi pengetahuan dalam klub bahasa, metode untuk berbagi pengetahuan dalam masyarakat melalui diskusi mingguan yang disebut clubbing, anggota komunitas berbagi pengetahuan yang telah dimiliki dengan pengetahuan baru dan digunakan dalam kegiatan sehari-hari, dan jaringan sosial yang dibentuk oleh kepentingan kesamaan bahasa dan terhubung dengan media sosial.

Abstract

The Sundanese language becomes one of the regional languages in the Indonesian Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC)’s notation 499.2232. The knowledge of Sunda has become a representation of the language used by the Sunda ethnicity in ancient and present times, thus it is necessary to record the development of language science and Sundanese literature into the DDC system in the library. This study aimed to extend the Dewey’s Classification notation in the field of the Sundanese language and literature. The scope of this study was to review the Indonesian and Sundanese language and literature notations in the 23rd edition of DDC Classification System, the development of knowledge about the Sundanese language and Sundanese literature, as well as the extension of the notation on the subjects. The research used a qualitative method using a descriptive. The result of this study was the extension of the Sundanese language and literature subject notation to complete the DDC classification scheme, which then would be submitted to the Library Material Development and Information Services in the National Library of Indonesia. Furthermore, the development of knowledge of the Sundanese language and literature that have been published in various forms of publication, to date can be represented by some more specific classification notation under the notation 499.223 2 for the Sundanese language and under notation 899.223 2 for the Sundanese literature. The notation will also provide benefits in the management of library materials as a representation of information contained in various publications on the Sundanese language and literature.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the particular information literacy librarian at the University of Padjadjaran. This study covers the competency of information literacy librarian at the University of Padjadjaran and how it is applied in the library. The method used in this research is a case study. Data processing is done by presenting a description of the results of interviews, observations in a narrative. The population in this study were librarians and other library staff in the University of Padjadjaran. The samples were done by purposive sampling on a limited number of library staff who have become functional librarian at the University of Padjadjaran. The results showed that the competency of information literacy librarian at the University of Padjadjaran own good. Theyve been able to determine their information needs and understand the information needs of users in the library. The search capabilities of information still be done simply. They have not used a technique effective and efficient search either for himself or when serving users. Knowledge of search engine is also still inadequate so that it can inhibit the process of information retrieval. The information they get used and applied to improving the competence and professionalism of their work as a librarian. Librarian at the University of Padjadjaran implement these capabilities in serving the information needs of users. They disseminate these capabilities to others, especially the user. The hope is that users and others are able to use it to be able to overcome any problems encountered in the academic environment and can be used in lifelong learning activities.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauhmana literasi informasi para putakawan khususnya di lingkungan Universitas Padjadjaran. Penelitian ini mencakup kompetensi literasi informasi para pustakawan di Universitas Padjadjaran dan bagaimana penerapannya di perpustakaan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi kasus. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan menyajikan deskripsi hasil wawancara, pengamatan dan observasi secara naratif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah para pustakawan dan tenaga perpustakaan lainnya yang ada di lingkungan Universitas Padjadjaran. Penentuan sampel dilakukan secara purposive sampling yaitu hanya pada sejumlah staf perpustakaan yang telah menjadi fungsional pustakawan di Universitas Padjadjaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi literasi informasi pustakawan di Universitas Padjadjaran sudah baik. Mereka sudah dapat menentukan kebutuhan informasinya dan memahami kebutuhan informasi pengguna di perpustakaannya. Kemampuan penelusuran informasi masih dilakukan secara sederhana. Mereka belum menggunakan teknik penelusuran yang efektif dan efisien baik untuk kepentingan dirinya maupun pada saat melayani pengguna. Pengetahuan tentang search engine juga masih kurang memadai sehingga dapat menghambat proses penelusuran informasi. Informasi yang mereka dapatkan digunakan dan diterapkan untuk peningkatan kompetensi dan profesionalisme kerja mereka sebagai pustakawan. Pustakawan di Universitas Padjadjaran menerapkan kemampuannya tersebut dalam melayani kebutuhan informasi pengguna. Mereka menyebarluaskan kemampuannya tersebut kepada orang lain terutama pengguna. Harapannya adalah agar pengguna dan orang lain mampu memanfaatkannya untuk dapat mengatasi setiap permasalahan yang dihadapi di lingkungan akademik dan dapat digunakan dalam kegiatan belajar sepanjang hayat.

Abstract

This research discussed about the credibility of Library staff at SMAN 1 Sindang, Indramayu. This research used Credibility Theory from Hovland, Janis, and Kelley (1953). The purpose of this research is to know the credibility of library staff trough three components:attractiveness, skill and trust. The method used in this research is qualitative method with case study. Data were obtained from observations, interviews, and literature searches. The informant are eight people include the head of library, two library staffs, and five students. The result of this research shows the library staffs at SMAN 1 Sindang have good enough credibility. The library staff attraction consist of two factors; 1) Internal factor that is application of instructional technique and human realtions in communicating with students that produce a good interpersonal communication, 2) External factor is promotion that library staffs did such as rewarding and library socialization. Library staffs skill at SMAN 1 Sindang include management, service, developing of library staff sistem based on management competence, information management competence, education competence, personality competence, social competence, and profession development competence. It can be concluded the attractiveness and skill is to be related each other to build trust that continuously produce library staffs credibility at SMAN 1 Sindang. Library staff credibility in SMAN 1 Sindang was influenced too by educational factor, experience, and communication style. Hopefully, this research can be reference for the government to keep upgrading the human resources at school library especially SMAN 1 Sindang.Penelitian ini menggambarkan kredibilitas tenaga perpustakaan SMA 1 Sindang, Indramayu. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori kredibilitas dari Hovland, Janis dan Kelley (1953). Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui kredibilitas tenaga perpustakaan melalui tiga komponen: daya tarik, keahlian dan kepercayaan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah metode kualitatif melalui studi kasus. Data penelitian dihasilkan dari observasi, wawancara, dan studi literatur. Informan adalah 8 orang termasuk kepala perpustakaan, 2 tenaga perpustakaan dan 5 siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tenaga perpustakaan SMA 1 Sindang memiliki kredibilitas yang cukup bagus. Daya tenaga perpustakaan terdiri dari 2 faktor; 1) faktor internal yang diaplikasikan dari teknik instruksional dan hubungan manusia dalam komunikasi diantara siswa yang diproduksi melalui komunikasi interpersonal, 2) faktor eksternal ialah promosi yang dilakukan tenaga perpustakaan melalui penghargaan dan sosialisasi perpustakaan. Keahlian tenaga perpustakaan SMA 1 Sindang termasuk manajemen, pelayanan, pengembangan sistem tenaga perpustakaan berdasarkan manajemen kompetensi, manajemen kompetensi informasi, kompetensi pendidikan, kompetensi kepribadian, kompetensi sosial, dan pengembangan kompetensi profesi. Dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa daya tarik dan keahlian menjadi saling terhubung satu sama lain untuk membangun kepercayaan yang diproduksi terus menerus oleh kredibilitas tenaga perpustakaan SMA 1 Sindang. Kredibilitas tenaga perpustakaan di SMA 1 Sindang dipengaruhi juga melalui faktor pendidikan, pengalaman, dan gaya komunikasi. Harapannya, penelitian ini dapat menjadi rujukan bagi pemerintah untuk meningkatkan sumber daya manusia di Perpustakaan Sekolah khususnya SMA 1 Sindang.
