Abstract

The purpose of this study was to utilize information technology and increase learning motivation during the Covid 19 period. The subjects of this study were teachers in the city of Palangkaraya. The research stages were initial observation and socialization of activities, opening of activity registration, making modules, implementing activities, giving structured assignments, evaluating, publishing, monitoring, and reporting. The conclusion is E Learning using edmodo is an affective way of implementing distance learning, the very good and enthusiastic teacher input indicates that edmogo is a solution to the use of information technology during the Covid 19 pandemic, The learning motivation that students feel needs to be improved in the first way is to increase teacher motivation in teaching, with high teacher motivation in teaching, the teacher will try to develop their skills in selecting and making interesting teaching materials.

Abstract

This study aimed to find out the significance of the direct effect of industrial work practices on work readiness, vocational competency, and employability skills, the direct effect of work readiness on employability skills, and the direct effect of vocational competency on employability skills. Furthermore, it was to find out the significance of the indirect effect of industrial work practices on employability skills through work readiness, indirect effect of industrial work practices to employability skills through vocational competency. The significance of the effect founds was expected to enhance the knowledge and consideration for developing employability skills vocational high school (VHS) students especially at industrial work practice, work readiness, vocational competency at vocational high school. The research used quantitative approach with ex-post facto type. The data were analyzed quantitavely to test the formulated hypotesis. The research was conducted at State and Private Vocational High School in DIY. The study population was grade XII students majoring in mechanical engineering. The research samples were 444 student who were selected using proportionate stratified random sampling. The data collection techniques were questionnairies distribution and documentation. The content validity was established using expert judgment. The construct validity was establised using analysis factor by Kaiser Meyer Olkin Measure of Sampling Adequacy (KMO MSA) with value of 0.691. The reliability of the research was judged using cronbachs alpha with value for work readiness of 0.921 and employability skills of 0.864. The data analysis technique used path analysis. The result showed that (1) direct effect of industrial work practice on work readiness was found with r 23.3%, (2) direct effect of industrial work practices on vocational competency was found with r 28.2%, (3) direct effect of work readiness on employability skills was found with r 10.1%, (4) direct effect of work readiness on employability skills was found with r 50.1%, (5) direct effect of vocational competency on employability skills was found with r 15.4%, (6) indirect effect of industrial work practices on employability skills through work readiness was found with r 11.7%, (7) indirect effect of industrial work practices on employability skills through vocational competency was found with r 4,3%. Employability skills can be improved through effective implementation of industry work practice, work readiness, and vocational competency.

Abstract

Tujuan penulisan ini adalah mengungkap bagaimana Persyarikatan Muhammadiyah merespon perkembangan teknologi informasi dan revolusi industri 4.0. Tulisan ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui kajian literatur yang bersumber dari jurnal dan dokumen terkait permasalahan penelitian. Teknik analisis data menggunakan metode induktif, yakni metode yang menggunakan alur berpikir dengan penarikan kesimpulan berdasarkan data-data yang bersifat khusus. Kesimpulan dari permasalahan tersebut adalah pertama dalam merespon perkembangan teknologi informasi perlu menerapkan pendekatan pembelajaran interdisiplin Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) melalui sekolah-sekolah dan perguruan tinggi Muhammadiyah agar tercipta kader dan lulusan yang mampu bersaing dalam perkembangan teknologi informasi. Kedua, pemberdayaan masyarakat yang dilakukan Muhammadiyah berorientasi terhadap Revolusi Industri 4.0 sehingga luaran dari revolusi ini akan mendatangkan keuntungan dan kesejahteraan bagi warga Persyarikatan Muhammadiyah serta rakyat Indonesia secara luas.

Abstract

Kehidupan sehari-hari terdapat permasalahan mengenai optimasi yang dapat diselesaikan menggunakan pohon rentang minimum, atau dikenal dengan istilah Minimum Spanning Tree (MST), misalnya masalah mencari biaya termurah dalam perancangan pemasangan pipa saluran air bersih. Ilmu perancangan pipa termasuk dalam ilmu plumbing yang merupakan bagian dari ilmu teknik sipil. Peneliti tertarik untuk menggunakan algorima Prim, Kruskal, Djikstra, dan Floyd-Warshall untuk menyelesaikan masalah pohon merentang minimum pada pemasangan pipa saluran air dengan meneliti biaya minimumnya. hasil penelitian pohon rentang minimum dari jalur distribusi pipa saluran air bersih di Perumahan “X” dengan menggunakan algoritma Prim, Kruskal, dan Floyd-Warshall diperoleh total biaya minimum yang sama yaitu sebesar Rp. 5.600.000,-. Sedangkan algoritma Djikstra memperoleh total biaya sebesar Rp. 7.200.000,-. Ini berarti bila ingin mendapatkan biaya yang paling murah dalam merancang instalasi pipa untuk air bersih, seorang estimator bisa menggunakan algoritma prim, kruskal, ataupun Floyd-Warshall.

Abstract

Dunia Industri melakukan berbagai upaya untuk mendorong perilaku menjaga lingkungan, namun keherhasilan upaya tersebut tergantung pada kemauan karyawan untuk menjaga lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji faktor psikologis, pembelajaran, lingkungan masyarakat, dan akademis terhadap green skills mahasiswa teknologi informasi. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik Struktur Equation Modeling (SEM). Populasi penelitian adalah mahasiswa teknologi informasi di Universitas Muhammadiyah Palangka Raya. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 112 mahasiswa dipilih secara proportionate stratified random sampling. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan lembar dokumentasi. Validitas isi dilakukan melalui pertimbangan ahli. Validitas konstruk dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis faktor. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa (1) nilai besaran masing-masing faktor psikologis terhadap green skills secara langsung adalah sebesar 0,909, faktor pembelajaran terhadap green skills secara langsung adalah sebesar -0,132, faktor lingkungan masyarakat terhadap green skills secara langsung adalah sebesar 0,347, faktor akademis terhadap green skills secara langsung adalah sebesar -0,134. (2) terdapat pengaruh secara tidak langsung psikologis terhadap green skills melalui pembelajaran dengan nilai sebesar 0,026, pengaruh secara tidak langsung psikologis terhadap green skills melalui akademik dengan nilai sebesar 0,347, pengaruh secara tidak langsung pembalajaran terhadap green skills melalui akademik dengan nilai sebesar 0,070, pengaruh secara tidak langsung lingkungan masyarakat terhadap green skills melalui pembelajaran dengan nilai sebesar 0,0924, pengaruh secara tidak langsung lingkungan masyarakat terhadap green skills melalui akademik dengan nilai sebesar -0,083. (3) model pengukuran konstruk green skills dari empat faktor adalah model yang fit menggambarkan Green Skills (GS) mahasiswa dengan 10 komponen indikator GS dalam konstruk independent satu sama lain.

Abstract

The speed of the use of technology and the production of innovation is growing rapidly, creating a gap between the world of education and the human resource needs of the world of work and society. The challenge of 21st century education is to bridge the gap between the educational process in higher education and the innovation of the world of work. One approach used to accommodate 21st century education is quality outcome-based learning. Guaranteeing the quality of education is the obligation of every educational unit and is the right of every element of society. Quality tertiary institutions are those that can provide certainty that all components including organization, policies, and related processes in the education unit can run according to the standards set. The purpose of the discussion of this paper is to photograph and find out the pattern of quality assurance of learning in higher education based on the outcomes of current and future competencies in the world of work. The method used is the meta-analysis study method. The results of the synthesis show that in order to achieve outcome-based quality assurance, all academics involved in the education process up to the employees must understand the nature and purpose of providing education. Good quality in the learning process makes learning innovative, interactive, and effective. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui efektivitas pembelajaran Gambar Teknik Mesin dengan Autocad bila dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Penelitian kuasi eksperimen ini menggunakan sampel penelitian siswa kelas XI SMK N 1 Palangka Raya. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah pretest-posttest control group. Uji-t dilakukan untuk mengukur efektivitas media pembelajaran menggunakan Autocad dan pembelajaran konvensional berdasarkan kriteria hasil belajarnya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa efektivitas pembelajaran dengan Autocad dibanding pembelajaran konvensional mempunyai perbedaan yang signifikan. Pembelajaran Autocad lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional pada materi Gambar Teknik Mesin kelas XI SMK Negeri 1 Palangka Raya

Abstract

This research is about efforts to improve green skills using the project citizen model. The method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjects of the study were students of SMK Muhammadiyah Palangka Raya and SMKN 1 Palangka Raya in class XI. The results of this study indicate that the planning carried out in this study is to sort waste according to the type of waste. At the time of the learning process using the project citizen model experienced several obstacles such as adjusting the state of online learning due to covid 19 which is currently engulfing all components of education, difficulty in explaining to students who have not been able to use online classes. Another thing when implementing is the need for deeper explanation to students in identifying green skills problems, explaining solutions in applying green skills, and efforts to apply green skills to students when practicing in a laboratory or workshop. In this study an increase in green skills in the aspects of the ability to sort waste, the ability to analyze costs, and the ability to process products that will be made with used waste. This can be seen from the results that have been described where from each cycle from cycle I to cycle III increased in aspects of waste management with a score of 82 (good), the ability to make products from used materials with a score of 3.7 (very good) and the ability to analyze the production costs of the product to be made with a score of 3.70 (very good) related to green skills in students practicum.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini mengenai upaya meningkatkan green skills menggunakan model project citizen. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik SMK Muhammadiyah Palangka Raya dan SMKN 1 Palangka Raya kelas XI. Hasil Penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa perencanaan yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini yaitu memilah sampah sesuai dengan jenis limbahnya. Pada saat proses pembelajaran menggunakan model project citizen ini mengalami beberapa hambatan seperti menyesuaikan keadaan pembelajaran daring akibat covid 19 yang sedang melanda seluruh komponen pendidikan sekarang, kesulitan dalam menjelaskan kepada peserta didik yang belum mampu menggunakan kelas online. Hal lainnya saat pelaksaan adalah perlu penjelasan lebih dalam kepada peserta didik dalam mengidentifikasi masalah green skills, menerangkan solusi dalam menerapkan green skills, dan upaya menerapkan green skills kepada peserta didik saat melakukan praktikum di laboratorium atau bengkel. Pada penelitian ini terjadi peningkatan green skills dalam aspek kemampuan memilah limbah, kemampuan analisis biaya, dan kemampuan meolah produk yang akan dibuat dengan limbah bekas. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil yang sudah dipaparkan dimana dari masing-masing siklus dari siklus I sampai siklus III mengalami peningkatan dalam aspek pengelolaan limbah dengan skor 82 (baik), kemampuan membuat produk dari bahan bekas dengan skor 3,7 (sangat baik) dan kemampuan mengalisis biaya produksi dari produk yang akan dibuat dengan skor 3,70 (sangat baik) terkait dengan green skills pada praktikum peserta didik.                                                                                                                 Kata Kunci: Keterampilan Peduli Lingkungan, Model Project Citizen, Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ABSTRACTThis research is about efforts to improve green skills using the project citizen model.
