Abstract

All Formal education is oriented towards the continuity of one's education to carry out formal learning activities from the pre-school level to the university level. This article asks about the involvement of non-formal education to fulfil the learning needs of students during the Covid-19 epidemic as a form of companion, complement, support and requirement. This article uses a qualitative descriptive design that takes the ideas, sources and theories based on reference books, related journals and experiences as well as from sources those who are experienced in their fields. So this article, the author states that the involvement of non-formal education is divided into two points, namely: 1) Direct involvements: a) extracurricular involvement, b) technology system involvement of subjects matters, c) involvement of school activity companions, d) involvement of supporting of vision and mission of the school. 2) Indirect involvements: a) involvement of companion learning resource’s needed, b) involvement of flexibility learning activities, c) involvement of potential trainers of students, d) involvement of pre-requisites for admission to favourite study and e) involvement the lifelong education's changement.

Abstract

Analisis stilistika novel Zalzalah biarkan cinta sampai pada akhirnya Karya Mashdar Zaenal  ini merupakan analisis pemakaian gaya bahasa. Gaya bahasa adalah penggunaan kata kiasan dan perbandingan yang tepat untuk mengungkapkan perasaan dan pikiran dengan maksud tertentu. Bahasa merupakan bahan baku utama untuk memproduksi novel. Penggunaan gaya bahasa dalam novel zalzalah biarkan cinta sampai pada akhirnya karya Mashdar Zaenal adalah salah satu alternative untuk membentuk karakter seorang penulis. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil yang diperoleh dari analisis ini bahwa terdapat gaya bahasa berjumlah 409 kutipan, Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik baca dan catat. Dapat dilihat bahwasanya gaya bahasa yang dominan adalah literasi. Dengan demikian Aliterasi banyak menggambarkan ungkapan-ungkapan gaya bahasa yang berwujud perulangan konsonan yang sama.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan metode bermain peran (role playing) terhadap pemahaman cerita rakyat”Legenda Danau Toba” pada siswa kelas X SMK Swasta Muhammadiyah 10 Kisaran Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018.Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dengan desain penelitian the randomized posttest only experiment and control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas X jurusan Teknik Komputer dan Jaringan (TKJ) yang terdiri dari 7 kelas berjumlah 220 siswa. Sampel penelitian ada 2 kelas (kelas X TKJ 5 dan X TKJ 6) yang diambil secara cluster random. Pada kelas X TKJ 5 sebagai kelas eksperimen menggunakan metode bermain peran (role playing)dan pada kelas X TKJ 6 sebagai kelas kontrol dengan metode pembelajaran konvensional. Setelah pembelajaran selesai diberikan, diperolehnilai dengan hasil rata-rata kelas eksperimen adalah 80 dan kelas kontrol 72,5. Hasil uji t diperoleh thitung > ttabel pada taraf signifikan 5%, dk = 58 yaitu 6,69 > 2,00 dan pada taraf signifikan 1%, dk = 58 yaitu 6,69 > 2,65. Artinya terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan penggunaan metode bermain peran (role playing) terhadap pemahaman cerita rakyat ”Legenda Danau Toba” pada siswa kelas X SMK Swasta Muhammadiyah 10 Kisaran.

Abstract

Film Tarung Sarung merepresentasikan Budaya yang menarik. Salah satunya terkait dengan percakapan antartokoh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk kajian semiotiok pragmatik deiksis serta budaya pada film Tarung Sarung. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan dengan menggunakan metode penelitian dokumentasi, simak, dan catat. Data penelitian ini adalah data bahasa ragam lisan yang bersumber dari Tarung Sarung. Data tersebut dianalisis dengan tehnik analisis Taksonomik (Taksonomic Analysis) pada tahap analisis taksonomi, peneliti berupaya memahami domain-domain tertentu sesuai fokus masalah atau sasaran penelitian. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat beberapa bentuk deiksis dalam Tarung Sarung yakni Deiksis orang meliputi (1) deiksis orang pertama : Saya, aku, gue dan kita, (2) Deiksis orang kedua : kamu, kalian, dan saudara-saudaraku, (3) Deiksis orang ketiga : mereka dan dia. Deiksis tempat meliputi di Mesji, di sini, dan di Makassar. Deiksis waktu meliputi malam-malam, selamat pagi, dan kesiangan. Deiksis Sosial meliputi Puang Deni Ruso. Sedangkan makna semiotik budaya yang terdapat dalam film ini yakni makna dari segi bahasanya, warisan, sistem pengetahuan, dan keseniannya.

Abstract

This experimental study aims to determine the effectiveness of learning mathematics with a contextual approach in terms of understanding students' concepts. The sample of this study was the whole of the population, namely all classes IX MTSN 2 Asahant 2018/2019 school year with the number of students as many as 48 students distributed in 2 classes, namely classes IX-A and IX-B. Based on testing the hypothesis with a significance level of 5%, it was found that the percentage of students completing had exceeded 70%. The conclusion of this study is mathematics learning with an effective contextual approach in terms of understanding students' mathematical concepts.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze how much influence social factors and lifestyle on product purchasing decisions on the Central Fashion Range of Asahan. The study was conducted on 50 samples, where the determination of the sample used was accidental sampling. The results showed that social factors (X1), and lifestyle factors (X2) together had a positive influence on purchasing decisions on the Central Fashion Range. This can be seen from the results of the regression equation, where Y = 0.336 + 0.280 X1 + 0.286 X2 + e. Based on the results of the F test it can be seen that social factors and lifestyle factors have a significant influence on product purchasing decisions with a significance level of 0,000 or 0%. Based on a partial test (t), all variables have a significant influence on purchasing decisions for fasion products with a significant level for social factors of 4.199 or 4.19%, and lifestyle factors of 4.523 or 4.52%; Of the two variables that influence purchasing decisions for Central Fashion Range Asahan products, the most dominant variable is the lifestyle factor variable because it has a tcount of 4.523 greater than the social factor, with the required significance.

Abstract

The objective of the study is to develop the teaching materials in writing descriptive texts in Grade X students of SMK Binaan UMN Al-Washliyah 3, Medan. The study is conducted by  the Development Research method, and the evaluators are the instructors of the Indonesian Subject (specific instructors), and the subjects are Grade X students. Pre-test and post-test are done to find out the effectiveness of the result. The result of the pre-test shows that the average score is 67% with the category of satisfactory; the result of the post-test shows that the average score is 85% with the category of distinction. The process of developing teaching materials includes three aspects of assessment: 1) teaching materials, 2) presentation, and 3) language structure. The validation of material experts includes content with an average score of 4.9% and a percentage of 82.2% with the category of distinction. The feasibility of presenting teaching materials has an average score of 113% with the category of distinction, and the language element has an average score of 11.4% with the category of distinction. The conclusion indicates that the design for developing teaching materials of descriptive texts by using a scientific approach in the subject of Indonesian is very effective.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the increase in the ability of Asahan University Semester I students in understanding the short story flow after participating in learning that is designed with the technique of rearranging flow visualization in learning after participating in learning with the technique of rearranging flow visualization. Through this research, students are expected to be able to understand the storyline well. In this classroom action research, students are said to be successful in learning if they have reached the classical learning completeness value of 75. The subject of this study is the Asahan University Semester I student. The research design used was the design of Class Action Research conducted in two cycles. Research data collection uses test techniques. The results of this study are that there is an increase in students' ability to understand the short story flow in students of Asahan University Semester I starting from cycle I and cycle II. Student grades increased from 77.72 to 84.39. This means an increase of 06.67%. The test results understand the short story flow of cycle I with an average value reaching 77.72 included in the sufficient category because it is in the range of 61-75. The test results understand the short story flow in cycle II obtained an average value of 84.39. Based on these data it can be seen that the average value is included in the good category which is in the range between 76-90. The achievement of the score means that it has fulfilled and even exceeded the set target and an increase.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to describe the tradition of reciprocating rhymes in the wedding party of the Malay community in Ujung Kubu Village. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. Descriptive data is data in the form of words, pictures, and not numbers (Moleong, 2016:11). This researcher took place in Ujung Kubu Village, Nibung Hangus District, Batu Bara Regency. The distance from Asahan University (UNA) to Batubara is approximately 67 km. The results of the study indicate that pantun in Malay people's lives is a means to convey moral messages which are full of noble values of religion, culture and social norms of society. The event of replying to the doorstop opening poem ended with a closing greeting from each of the bride and groom, not to forget the two families apologized to each other for possible mistakes and mistakes during the event, the event ended with a closing greeting. Malay people really like rhyming, from the past until now pantun has always been a tradition of the Malay community, it can even be said that the Malay community used to speak with rhymes. Pantun, especially in Malay society, is used as a means of communication to convey intentions, thoughts, opinions or advice and teaching. Pantun has pressure, acceptance and rhythm because rhymes contain aesthetic value, so at this time the tradition of reciprocating rhymes is still ongoing in the Malay community in Ujung Kubu Village, Nibung Hangus District, Batubara Regency in wedding parties..
