Abstract

In the context of realizing national development goals, the government is paying maximum attention to rural development. The great attention to the countryside is based on the fact that the village is home to a large part of the Indonesian people. The position of the village and the village community is the basis of the life of the nation and state of Indonesia. Intellectual capital is the main strength in an organization, which includes information, technical practitioners, expertise, intellectual property. Village assistance is carried out by village assistants whose job is to assist villages in the implementation of village development and village community empowerment. The objectives of village assistance include: 1) increasing the capacity, effectiveness and accountability of village governance and village development; 2) increase the initiative, awareness and participation of the village community in participatory village development; 3) increase the synergy of inter-sectoral Village development programs; and 4) optimizing village local assets in an emancipatory manner

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the marketing mix, namely product, price, location, and promotion, on customer decisions to choose Simasker savings products PT. Kerinci People's Development Bank. In this study using quantitative methods by processing primary data through questionnaires given to customers of Bank Kerinci as many as 50 respondents with Non Probability Sampling technique. The analysis used in this research includes instrument test, statistical test, classical assumption test, and multiple linear test. Based on the results of research tests conducted, namely: 1) Product variable (X1) has a positive and significant effect on Customer Decisions (Y); 2) Price variable (X2) has no effect on customer decisions (Y); 3) Location variable (X3) has no effect on customer decisions; 4) Promotion variable (X4) has a positive and significant effect on customer decisions.

Abstract

The Plaho ritual is a tradition tribute to the spirits of ancestors who have died long ago by providing food offerings such as white rice, yellow rice, black rice, brown rice, chicken eggs, duck eggs, roasted sticky rice called lemang, roasted chicken, orange juice, various flowers, betel leaves and etc. This ritual is carried out when people in the community suffer from misfortune, illness, have no offspring or no sustenance, or when they want to make a pledge in order to avoid misfortune, have success in trading, produced a lot of agricultural products, and so on. This ethnographic research was using an interpretive theoretical analysis proposed by Clifford Geertz and was conducted in the Siulak community, Kerinci Regency. Informant selection technique was carried out by using a deliberate selection of informant namely purposive sampling technique. Data collected through observation and in-depth interviews were then analyzed using interpretive analysis with steps as follows: data hermeneutic, data interpretation, and interpretative representation. This research results reveals that the Plaho ritual is still carried out by Siulak community since they believe that by carrying out this ritual, they will be protected from all disasters and dangers threatening their social life and that not all diseases can be treated medically. Plaho ritual to Siulak community also has a separate function which indirectly is a form of respect for their ancestors, as a cultural inheritance, as a form of retreat, a reminder of death, and a means of social integration, which purpose is none other than to get oneself closer to The Almighty God.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pelaksanaan, mengetahui makna dan mengetahui nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam Tradisi Ngatok Behou Sulung Pase. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian lapangan yang menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data seperti kepustakaan, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menghasilkan bahwa Tradisi Ngatok Behou Sulung Pase merupakan tradisi yang turun temurun yang masih dilakukan hingga saat ini. Tradisi Ngatok Behou Sulung Pase digunakan oleh masyarakat sebagai saran untuk menyambut bulan suci ramadhan untuk menjalin silaturahmi dengan keluarga dekat, dengan orang yang di hormati, orang yang dituakan dan dengan pemangku Adat, agar silaturahmi dan ikatan kekeluargaan semakin erat serta juga untuk saling memaafkan agar jiwa bersih sebelum datang bulan Ramadhan.
