Abstract

About workshop services at XYZ activity that has been given, there are still customer dissatisfaction like clean toilets, availability of benches / chairs in the waiting room, the air circulation in the waiting room. Customer complaints are an indicator of the workshop management to improve its services. Measurement of performance and expectations based on customers satisfaction was conducted using SERVQUAL to know the value gap, which is the value of the difference between what being performed to services that have been received with expectations based on customer ratings. To map the improvement priority, the method of Importance Performance Analysis is used. From IPA, P20 variable is obtained, with value X 'of 2.89 and Y' with 4.14, P25 variable with values of X 'and Y 2.86' to 4.17, P26 variables with X 'with 2.51 and Y '4.09 and P35 variable with a value of 2.69 X and Y' is a factor of 4.11. Those are the improvement priorities.

Abstract

Study program of mechanical engineering education (PSPTM) as an education organization needs to improve its learning quality. In this study, students will also be included to give input so that PSPTM management will be able to determine a strategy change in order to be better and the results to be accepted by the management and the students. The assessment from students is treated as a response to the difference between the rate of expectation and the real level of performance that has been previously perceived. This study is also used the seven dimensions of quality of learning such as the course objectives, lectures, the course structure, learning activities, lectures, companion (assistant) and evaluation. The results of the study by measuring student’s expectations and perceptions using Importance Performance Analysis obtain quality indicator P13 with suitability value 62.2% are quite well, P16 indicator with a value of 71.2% suitability value is also quite good, P18 indicator with a value of 78.4% with satisfactory grades, had a good assessment in practice and needs to be maintained.

Abstract

Laboratory role in engineering education is very important because it provides the experience and to deepen skills. Therefore the quality of practical implementation needs to get attention. From the observation of the students as respondents, seven (7) things as the main target can be obtained. From those 7 things obtained, there are eight (8) technical parameters that can be interacted each other. Positive parameter interaction on technical response relationship 1 to 3, on the proposal of additionals and improvements of laboratory buildings/rooms also closely related to the practical needs. Positive interaction is also shown in relation 3 and 7, the submission of practicum needs must be adjusted to the job sheet of activities conducted. Based on the results of these interactions, it can be seen that the highest contribution is the preparation of the job sheet with the target of the suitability the learning and implementation of training with a value of 22.7 %. The first priority to be changed is the skills of lecturers/laboratory staffs to demonstrate a tool skill that has mounted to 18.59% and the second priority is the suitability of training with the class courses with the value of 18.33.

Abstract

Bina Remaja Social Camp andKarya Wanita of Office of Social Services is one of Central Kalimantan provincial government programs that engages in: Social Welfare Service Center, Center for Information and consultation of social welfare, Social Welfare Development Center. Implementation of the quality program is an important point to the successful implementation of the program. Improved quality is very influential on the results/outcomes such as student proxies as the output. From the results of research using Importance Performance Analysis, it obtained variables that affect the quality of the services contained in quadrant A of Catersian diagram which are : the variable P14 on the availability of information/communication among alumni become important, variable P18 on the availability of a library/reading room or other resource center is adequate to use. The variable P19 on the availability of internet facilities/computer either be chosen by respondents, variable P21 regarding the building/classroom and workshop space in accordance with the designation. At P22 variable attributes sightly, comfortable and helps the learning be chosen by respondents. Next on the variable P25 on the attractive layout space for students and P27 variables regarding health and safety policies are properly supervised, the variable P28 is on the variation ofgood and interesting learning model, then the variable P34 is on the well-explained program to the other party (the owner of the internship place) and P37 on feedback from other users on a regular basis.

Abstract

Field Experience Program (PPL) can be defined as a program that imparts a variety of knowledge, attitudes, and skills in order to establish a professional teacher. PPL also prerequisite applicative and integrated capabilities of all previous learning experience in a training program in the form of performance in all matters relating to the position of teacher, both learning activities and tasks of other teacher. Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program (PSPTM) through UP3L FKIP Unpar send students for teaching practice in schools, in this case PSPTM is a manufacturer that foster student and the school as a part of consumers. From the results of studies using Importance Performance Analysis analysis, it is obtained that variables that affect the quality of students is based on the expectations and perceptions of the respondents in the realm plan learning activities found that the factors that must be repaired is like the formulation of specific goals of learning (X12), the determination of teaching aids ( X14), choice of learning activities (X16) and discipline (X25). For the realm of implementation of learning, factors to get priority repair are providing teaching aids and learning resources required (P13), maintaining student’s orderin learning (P28), carry out the assessment during the learning process (P30), a summary (P33). Customer Satisfaction Index of the value of the realm of learning plans to get a value of 54.17% and in the realm of learning activities get an assessment of 58.02%, based on the table Stratford on the range of values ? 51-65% category simply quite satisfactory.

Abstract

The making of children's play equipment is in the form of a set of tools where the playground has the benefits of training early childhood motor skills. The implementation of the activity was carried out in the Kindergarten Pembina Jekan Raya District, Palangka Raya as a partner. The purpose of community service activities carried out in tertiary institutions is in line with the functions and objectives mandated in Law Number 12 of 2012, Article 4 paragraph 3; "Developing Science and Technology by paying attention and applying the value of Humanities". And in article 5, paragraph 4; "The realization of Community Service based on reasoning and research work that is useful in advancing public welfare and intellectual life of the nation". The method used is to analyze the needs of partners related to the availability of play tools, determine the design of tools to be made and prepare tools and materials used in making play tools and measure the index of perception of the teacher and parents of students. From the measurement results, it was found that the index value of the instrument was based on the calculation of the perception of the teacher and parents of students reaching 94.83% which can be concluded that the respondent was "very good / very agree".

Abstract

The training activities are very important because they are useful to increase knowledge or skills, especially for those who are preparing to enter the workforce. Whereas those who are already working will aim to keep the capability maintained. To carry out these activities carried out at the Laboratory of Mechanical Engineering Education Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Palangka Raya. Through community service activities carried out in Higher Education in line with the functions and objectives mandated in Law Number 12 of 2012 Article 4 paragraph 3; "Developing Science and Technology by paying attention and applying the value of Humanities". And in article 5, paragraph 4; "The realization of Community Service based on reasoning and research work that is useful in advancing public welfare and intellectual life of the nation". Through this activity, participants are expected to have basic knowledge about welding electric welding. The method used is like a lecture with presentation techniques, guided direct practice and evaluation.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Experimental method is a way of presenting the lesson material where students conduct experiments with his own experience to address a question or hypothesis being studied. The study involving 38 students of class X TKR SMK-1 Palangka Raya that were chosen as respondents. The instrument used is the result of Cognitive learning Tests, Teacher and Student Activities Observation Sheet, Student Response Questionnaire and Observation Sheet of Psychomotor Performance, and analyzed using descriptive techniques. Data on student response obtained after the material has been taught by experimental method. Data on student activities and psychomotor performance were obtained from student’s practice performance in the workshop. The analysis of the results showed the completeness on cognitive learning on 35 students that has completed (92%) and 3 students has not complete (8%) of the 38 students who took the tests. Classically, the learning is said completed since there are 92% o fall students completed their study. Student’s response of the experimental method on psycho motoric performance, of the 38 students there are 34 students who has completed and 4 students who has not completed and the average score obtained is 3.0 which is good since it has passed the minimum KKM of 2,67.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out the relationship of concept comprehention of measurement devices with the measuring ability using mechanic measuring devices in the tenth grade of SMKN 1 Sanaman Mantikei 2015/2016. The research type is a non experiment type with correlational approach. The population is all students of tenth grade of SMKN 1 Sanaman Mantikei with random sampling which is tenth grader Automotive B whose number is 31 students. The instruments of concept mastery of mechanic measurement devices (variable x) is using written test. Before using it, the test instrument should be tested for its difficulty level, differentiation level, validity and reliability level and instrument of the ability to measure using measuring devices (variable y) which is performance test. The research results show the relationship between the concept mastery of using measuring devices (x) with the measuring ability using the mechanic measuring devices (y) in the form of regression formula with correlation coefficient 0,619 which means there is a positive relationship and significant between the concept mastery of using measuring devices (x) with the measuring ability using the mechanic measuring devices (y). The percentage or contribution of the concept mastery of measuring devices (x) is 38,27% on the ability to measure using the mechanic measuring devices (y).
