Abstract

This research aims to design a prototype for data warehouse as a data storage that has a structure and derived from different data sources (heterogeneous). Metadata is the data description which can be used as a catalog so that users can get complete information about the database is built. Data warehouse is a collection of data that are subject-oriented, integrated, time variant and non-volatile . These properties make the data warehouse included in OLAP (OnLine Analytical Proceesing) where the data stored and can not be changed at any time (real time). That was the distinguishes between a regular information system. The ability of data warehouses is extraction data from heterogeneous databases. Heterogeneous database is the database that is derived from several different data sources and have different table structures also vary. The author designed a prototype with the ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) and using a star schema. The design of data warehouse was used Kimball method which designed from branch table to centralized (bottom-up approach). The prototype of this metadata can help the decision-making process with the use of data mining techniques.

Abstract

Artificial Neural Network can solve a problem based on its experience and training. The purpose of this research is analyzing the comparison of two training that is Backpropagation Training (BP) and Levenberg-Marquardt (LM) Training to determine the speed and accuracy of each training. The case that be used is the weather prediction at Makassar City which is obtained from BMKG. The advantage of BP is the runtime execution to get SSE’s value faster than LM that has difference 410.48974 ms. The advantage of LM is can obtain the smallest SSE’s value on training process than BP, that is 0.0264.

Abstract

This research aims design ETL in data warehouse as a storage of data logging. The source of data warehouse can be diverse both in terms of data storage structure, platform, device and user interface so-called syntactic heterogeneity. Modelling data in this research using a snowflake schema because the data involved is already 3rd Normal Form. This application is powered by software applications built using LabView tools and sensors Schneider 810 power meter will read the input data. The results obtained in this research are ETL can build a data warehouse for the storage of data logging despite syntactic heterogeneity.

Abstract

This research aims to develop software applications that can perform data communication from a sensor electrical quantities to the Master Terminal Unit as a server with Modbus TCP protocol. Data communication architecture in real time from the sensor to the MTU so that the user can monitor the amount of electricity in a building at any time. Software applications that are built using tools LabView. The results of data acquisition can be stored in computer memory that will be used as a reference in further analysis.

Abstract

Utilization of electrical energy in a building direct impact on carbon emissions. One of them in commercial buildings such as campus, industry and banking. Therefore, it needs building management systems by monitoring electrical quantities. This research aims to build a data acquisition system of electrical quantities in commercial buildings. Real time data acquisition by using the Modbus TCP protocol as a communication media between the RTU and MTU integrated with SCADA. LabView is a software that acts as a software tool to visualize data acquisition. The results is the utilization of the electrical energy of the building can be monitored so that its use more efficient.
