Abstract

As technology advances, more and more applications are developed with the intent of making our lives easier. Communication is an important part of our everyday lives; so many technologies have been developed for this purpose. Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) is a technology that is used for making both textual and vocal communication. VoIP applications are gaining popularity due to the low cost and high quality service, which is comparable to the traditional telephone service. Nowadays, Skype, which is owned by Microsoft, is the most popular VoIP service with 405 million registered users and 15 million active online users. Google Talk, owned by Google is also a popular VoIP application. This study compared the interface and usability of both these applications and found that Skype was by far the most user friendly and attractive.

Abstract

The use of software security metrics is one of the methods in measuring quantitatively the reliability of a software. These measures can be used in assessing resource allocation, program planning, risk assessment, and product or service selection. One of the commonly used measurements is the attack surface and vulnerability density. Both of these measurement methods have been widely used by several large technology companies, but determining the validity of software security measures remains a challenge in itself. A safety measure cannot measure all aspects of security and therefore the use of various measurement methods is required in some cases. This study aims to see the relationship between the measurement based on attack surface and vulnerability density by applying to several web servers that are placed in the demilitarized zone (DMZ) area, which is an area flanked by two or more firewalls.

Abstract

The main objective of this thesis is to develop e-commerce services on FTI-UAJM as a means by which students become entrepreneurs. The study was conducted using a waterfall methodology, consisting of a number of stages performed systematically. Through this research, it is known that the system can assist the academic community in marketing their work and also the practice means for students who take the technopreneur course, where the system is integrated directly with the technopreneur course so that it can be monitored directly and evaluated by the lecturer.

Abstract

Dalam kurun waktu 20 tahun terakhir teknologi dibidang pengenalan citra mengalami peningkatan yang signfikan. Berbagai metode pencocokan kedekatan citra seperti Euclidean distance merupakan salah satu metode yang paling umum digunakan pada sebuah sistem pengenalan wajah. Akan tetapi metode tersebut memiliki beberapa kelemahan, seperti hasil pencocokan yang kurang akurat serta proses pencocokan data dengan dataset yang membutuhkan waktu yang lama. Guna mengatasi masalah tersebut maka penelitian ini mencoba untuk menerapkan metode Mahalanobis Distance terhadap sistem pengenalan wajah. Kegiatan penelitian ini berfokus untuk membandingkan tingkat akurasi dan lamanya waktu yang dibutuhkan oleh kedua metode tersebut dengan dataset pengujian yang bervariasi, seperti wajah yang tertutup sebagian maupun jarak antara pengguna dengan kamera. Hasil pengujian ini menunjukkan bahwa Mahalanobis Distance mampu meningkatkan keakuratan sistem untuk mengenali wajah seseorang sebesar 42%.

Abstract

Penggunaan Internet bervariasi, mulai dari mencari dan bertukar informasi, sebagai media untuk bisnis dan komunikasi, serta memfasilitasi publikasi atau promosi. Untuk memenuhi kebutuhan penggunaan Internet, banyak pengembang perangkat lunak mulai mengembangkan berbagai aplikasi, seperti BitTorent, FileZilla, dll. Sayangnya, beberapa aplikasi tidak dikembangkan untuk mematuhi peraturan pelabuhan tertentu yang membuatnya rentan terhadap serangan akses jarak jauh. Serangan semacam ini biasanya dieksploitasi oleh pengguna yang tidak dikenal, kebanyakan dikenal sebagai peretas untuk mendapatkan akses dalam sistem internal di mana aplikasi sedang diinstal. Oleh karena itu, sebagai tanggapan untuk mengukur balik ancaman semacam itu terhadap organisasi, diperlukan untuk menerapkan metode penyaringan yang dapat mengklasifikasikan paket yang masuk dan keluar dari jaringan, bersama dengan mencapai bandwidth arbitrase.

Abstract

The Coronavirus has made severe damage to the society around the world. Every aspect of human life was affected. As the result, the government propose the “new normal” policy to be applied as the new standards for regulating people in doing their activities. One of the rules within the new normal policy is each people must wear a face mask when they are in a public space. In order to enforce the rule, the implementation of TensorFlow in a face detection technology becomes one of the solutions, especially in the university environment.
