Abstract

Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL) is learning based on contextual events in daily life. The development of teaching materials assisted by android applications in learning physics is a very necessary thing and needs to be carried out continuously. This research aims to produce android-assisted PhyCCTM teaching materials that can improve the ability of argumentation. This research is research and development. The development procedure refers to the development model adapted from the 4D model which consists of four stages namely defining, designing, developing, and distributing. Content validation was carried out by four lecturers and seven physics teachers. Field trials are carried out in schools by applying the quasi-experimental method and using the control group pretest and posttest design. The trial was conducted by taking two classes as experimental and control classes. Improvement and differences in the results of students' argumentation abilities in the experimental and control groups were done by t-test. The research results obtained are android-assisted PhyCCTM teaching materials to improve the ability of argumentation worthy to be used with the category of "Good" and android-assisted PhyCCTM able to improve students' ability to argue with sig. (2-tailed) of 0,000. The conclusion obtained from this study is that Android-assisted PhyCCTM teaching materials developed are feasible to use and are able to improve students' ability to argue.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar, dan mendeskripsikan respons siswa terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT Berbantuan Papan Game Number One pada pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA). Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP N 5 Praya Timur pada semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2019/2020 yang berjumlah 23 orang. Objek penelitian ini adalah hasil belajar dan respons siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus pembelajaran dengan tahapan-tahapan dalam setiap siklus meliputi perencanaan, tindakan, observasi/evaluasi, dan refleksi. Data hasil belajar siswa dikumpulkan melalui pengisian lembar kerja siswa (LKS)/tugas, nilai game/permainan, dan tes akhir siklus. Data respons siswa dikumpulkan dengan kuesioner. Data yang telah terkumpul selanjutnya dianalisis secara deskriptif. Penelitian dikatakan berhasil apabila aspek hasil belajar menunjukkan Daya Serap Siswa (DSS) ≥ Keriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) yaitu 70 dan Ketuntasan Klasikal (KK) ≥ 85%, dan respons siswa minimal berkategori positif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa yaitu dari 74,0 dengan ketuntasan klasikal 73,9% dan standar deviasi 6,8 pada siklus I menjadi 75,5 dengan ketuntasan klasikal 87% dan standar deviasi 6,4 pada siklus II, dan respons siswa terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT Berbantuan Papan Game Number One diperoleh skor rata-rata sebesar 77,8 dengan standar deviasi 2,3 dan kategori positif. Hasil analisis data tersebut menunjukkan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT Berbantuan Papan Game Number One dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VII SMP N 5 Praya Timur pada tahun pelajaran 2019/2020.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk (1) meningkatkan motivasi belajar mahasiswa dalam perkuliahan dasar-dasar kependidikan melalui pemanfatan program google classroom, (2) meningkatkan prestasi belajar mahasiswa dalam perkuliahan dasar-dasar kependidikan melalui pemanfatan program google classroom, dan (3) mendeskripsikan tanggapan mahasiswa terhadap pemanfatan program google classroom pada perkuliahan dasar-dasar kependidikan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Masing-masing siklus mencakup 4 tahapan yaitu perencanaan tindakan, pelaksanaan tindakan, evaluasi, dan refleksi. Hasil yang diperoleh pada siklus I yaitu rerata prestasi belajar mahasiswa sebesar 6,4 dengan presentase kelulusan sebesar 75,8 % Dan presentase ketidaklulusan sebesar 24,2 %, serta rerata motivasi belajar mahasiswa sebesar 77,5 dengan kategori positif. Hasil pada siklus II menunjukkan rerata prestasi belajar mahasiswa adalah 84,1 dengan presenase kelulusan sebesar 97,0 % dan presentase ketidaklulusan sebesar 3,0 % serta motivasi belajar mahasiswa sebesar 79,9 dengan kategori positif. Disamping itu, hasil penyebaran angket menunjukkan bahwa tanggapan mahasiswa terhadap pemanfaaatan google classroom sebesar 79,4 dengan kategori positif

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' learning outcomes and figure out their responses to the application of the problem-based learning model in learning natural sciences. This study is a classroom action research. The subjects of this study were 16 students of class VII SMP Negeri 1 Gunungsari in the odd semester of the 2022–2023 academic year. This research was conducted in two learning cycles, with the stages in each cycle including planning, action, observation/evaluation, and reflection. The data collection was carried out using two instruments, namely tests in the form of a pre-test (cycle 1) and a post-test (cycle 2) to examine the student learning outcomes after implementing PBL and a questionnaire to find out the student responses to the application of PBL. The data that have been collected were then analyzed descriptively. Based on the data analysis, the results showed that after the application of the problem-based learning model, there was an increase of 60.2% in students' science learning outcomes. The average value of students' learning outcomes in cycle I was 33, while that of in cycle II increased to 83. In addition, students' responses are in the positive category. This study concluded that the application of the problem-based learning model could improve students' learning outcomes in class VII at SMP Negeri 1 Gunungsari.

Abstract

This research aims to test the feasibility of an interactive e-module based on local wisdom using an Android application to increase students' HOTS in circular motion material according to teachers and lecturers and analyze the increase in students' HOTS abilities after using an interactive e-module based on local wisdom using an Android application. This research is development research by applying the 4-D model. The development procedure consists of 4 stages, namely; define, design, develop, and disseminate. This research was carried out at MAN 1 Mataram, MAN 1 Central Lombok, MAN 1 West Lombok and MAN 1 East Lombok. This research instrument consists of a HOTS capability assessment instrument, an interactive E-module feasibility assessment instrument based on local wisdom, and an Android application media feasibility instrument. The results of this research are that this learning tool is suitable for use in physics learning to increase students' HOTS in the good and very good categories as tested by lecturers and physics teachers; This learning tool is able to increase students' HOTS within one group (pretest-posttest) and between groups (experiment-control). Data obtained from mixed ANOVA analysis in the experimental class showed that the increase in HOTS ability was more significant than the increase in HOTS in the control group; and there are differences in the HOTS abilities of students who use local wisdom-based e-module learning devices assisted by Android applications and students who use teacher teaching materials.
