Abstract

AbstrakDi Indonesia   pada tahun 1980-an  hanya terdapat  80.000 sampai  130.000 kasuspenyalahgunaan napza, namun pada saat ini telah meningkat menjadi  sekitar 5 juta kasuspenyalahgunaan napza (BNN, 2000).  Pemerintah melihat semakin  berbahayanya  persoalannapza ini, kemudian membentuk  badan nasional   untuk  menanggulangi  masalah napzaini.  Hal ini  dikemudian mendorong lembaga-lembaga swadaya masyarakat untuk  ikutterlibat  dalam menanggulangi  masalah napza ini seperti  Granat,  kelompok  No-Drugs,dan lain-lain.Subyek penelitian ini adalah  siswa sekolah menenag atas (SMA) berjumlah 155orang yang diambil dari dua sekolah swasta di yogyakarta. Analisis data dalam penelitianini menggunakan teknik  SEM structural equation modelling.Berdasarkan hasil  olah data  melalui model persamaan struktural (SEM) menunjukkanbahwa hipotesis pertama  yang  menjelaskan bahwa  tingkat religiusitas, regulasi-emosi,  motivasiberprestasi tidak secara langsung  berhubungan dengan kecenderungan  terlibat penyalahgunaannapza pada remaja, tetapi dimediasi oleh variabel pengaruh negatif  teman-sebaya terbukti.

Abstract

Job stress is a main problem for modern organization. It has negativeeffect on employee, organization and productivity. Previous study foundthat job stress could create several problems and difficulties either on workperformance or employee’s health status. This study aims to examinerelationship between job insecurity and religious coping as moderatorvariable with job stress among university academic staffs. Moderatedregression analysis was used to analyze the data. One hundred and fifty-five academic staffs participated in this study. The result showed that jobinsecurity has significant effect on job stress. Meanwhile, religious copinghas significant effect on job stress by moderating the effect of job insecurity.Further discussion will be explained in this paper.

Abstract

AbstrakStres  merupakan bagian dari kehidupan dan  kehidupan tidak lepas dari stres. Stresbisa dialami siapa saja, dari kanak-kanak hingga  lanjut usia.  Stres bisa bersifat akut danbisa pula bersifat  kronis.  Banyak penelitian empiris yang membuktikan bahwa stres berdampaksecara negatif bagi kesehatan tubuh  dan  kesejahteraan psikologis. Namun banyak faktoryang berpengaruh terhadap stres. Diantara faktor  faktor tersebut adalah strategi  coping yangdigunakan individu.Penelitian ini menguji hubungan antara  tiga strategi coping yaitu active coping,avoidance coping  dan  negative coping  dengan  stres  pada mahasiswa. Subyekpenelitian berjumlah  41 orang yang merupakan mahasiswa psikologi Universitas AhmadDahlan Yogyakarta.Berdasarkan hasil  analisis regresi menunjukkan tidak ada hubungan  yang signifikanantara   active coping, negative coping dan  avoidance coping  secara bersama-sama dengan  stres R = 0.045 F = 1.631 p = 0.199. Hasil uji korelasi  product momentpearson antara  active coping  dengan stres menunjukkan adanya hubungan negatif yangtidak signifikan r = - 0.034 p =  0.417. Korelasi antara avoidance coping  dengan stresmenunjukkan adanya hubungan positif yang tidak signifikan r = 0.113 p = 0.241.  Korelasiantara  negative coping  dengan stres menunjukkan hubungan positif yang signifikan  r =0.340 p = 0.015. Negative  coping  menyumbang  9.3 %  terhadap  stres. Ini menunjukkanmasih terdapat  90.7 % pengaruh variabel lain yang terhadap stres.

Abstract

The research goal is to investigate the influence of preceptorship clinical supervision using Bandura’s social cognitive modeltoward clinical competence improvement of nursing diploma students.  This research was quasi experiment using pre-posttest with control groups design. The subjects of this research were nursing diploma students who performed internship in RSJ Grhasia during 6-25 April 2015. Twenty four students which were divided into 2 groups, each of which consisted of 12 students as experimental and the rest played in control groups. Random sampling technique was used as sampling technique, the data was analyzed using independent sample T test. The results showed that preceptorship clinical supervision using Bandura’s social cognitive model improvedthe students’ clinical competence. The experiment groups’ mean of the gain score was 112 (SD±2,958), while the control group’s was 90,83 (SD±17,0,39). Thus, it can be concluded that preceptorship clinical supervision using Bandura’s social cognitive model can improve student clinical competencies compare to conventional clinical supervision method. This research can be used as a reference in developing guidance services of students through preceptorship guidance to improve clinical competence of nursing diploma students.

Abstract

Subjective wellbeing merupakan variabel yang penting bagi individu. Penelitian terdahulu menunjukkan pentingnya subjective wellbeing bagi tercapainya kualitas hidup yang optimal.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti prediktor-prediktor dari subjective wellbeing. Hasil penelitian akan memberikan pemahaman tentang hubungan perilaku keimanan, kesabaran dan syukur terhadap subjective wellbeing pada mahasiswa. Penelitian ini mengunakan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui penyebaran skala. Subjek  penelitian berjumlah 98 yang direkrut dari sebuah perguruan tinggi swasta (PTS) di Yogyakarta. Analisis regresi digunakan untuk menguji hubungan antar variabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada hubungan yang signifikan antara syukur dan sabar dengan subjective wellbeing pada mahasiswa. Sedangkan keimanan tidak  memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan subjective wellbeing. Implikasi dari hasil penelitian ini didiskuiskan lebih lanjut.

Abstract

Abstract. Career maturity is an important aspect that should be achieved by the individual.  Underdeveloped of career maturity will result in hesitancy in deciding his career, which then would hinder the achievement of a career in the future. This study was aimed to test whether self-efficacy, achievement motivation, and authoritative parenting has contributed to the maturity of an individual's career. Additionally, this study also examined whether there is difference in career maturity between male with female students. A total of 214 psychology students were participated in this study. The results showed self-efficacy, achievement motivation, and authoritative parenting contribute to student career maturity. However, no significant difference was found on career maturity between male and female students. Other results found that achievement motivation has the greatest contribution to the career maturity. Keywords: Career maturity, self efficacy, need of achievement, authoritarian parenting, and students

Abstract

Puerperal is likely in the occurrence of maternal deaths, and should receive health care during childbirth to be visited by a health worker at least 3 times since birth. This type of research was descriptive quantitative. The quantitative data obtained from questionnaires, using T-test. The research sample was breastfeeding mothers in the village of Balecatur as the intervention group and breastfeeding mothers in the village of Ambarketawang as the control group. There are significant differences of knowledge, behavior in the treatment of post-partum mothers between the intervention group and the control group with significant value in total of <0.05, influenced by the role of cadres, social suport, the role of health workers. Post partum visits conducted by community empowerment strategies, women as the main actors. The role of leaders, social support affect the success of efforts to increase postnatal visits among others disseminating information, provide examples, sensitize, motivate, guide, moving targets and the community and facilitating thus the knowledge, skills and increased public awareness can foster public participation in the postnatal visit.

Abstract

Wellbeing is the ultimate goal for everyone, not only for adolescence. Present study explore the relationship between gratitude and forgiveness with happiness among college student. A total of 81 undergarduate psychology students were recruited in this study from a private university in Jogjakarta. 29.6% (24) of the sample were males and 70.4% (57) were females Regression analysis was used to predict the model. This model regression predict relationship between gratitude and forgiveness with happiness, explaining 28.9% of the variance (Adjusted R2= 0.289).Gratitude give the biggest contribution to happiness (b= .536 p= .000), but forgiveness has no significance relationship to happiness (b= .078, p= .414). This result means that gratitude is an important factor contribute to happiness among undergraduate student in this sample. The implication of study are discussing further.

Abstract

Sense of  belonging is the extent to which  person feels attached, related and belong in organization system. If, a person feels accepted,   comfortable, congruence and get recognition from an organization, this condition will motivate the person to share positive contribution to their organization. The problem with Ahmad Dahlan University is a low student sense of belonging to their university.  This condition will cause negative effects for university in the future, with increasing several students’ negative behaviors such as apathy, unresponsiveness, until higher students drop out.  It is needed to evaluate and understand the student’s sense of belongings to their university, in order to take preventive action related to a low sense of belongings of students. The aim of this study is to create and develop a sense of belongingness measurement for Ahmad Dahlan University Belongingness Scale (ADUBS), that it will be used to evaluate how high the student sense of belonging to their university. The result of exploratory factor analysis (EFA) showed two dimensions the sense of belongingness constructs that represent the sense of belongings of student to their university namely University belongings and Community belongings. The next result from confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) using structural equation modeling (SEM) confirms that measurement model of ADUBs was fitted with empirical data (Chi-square = 39.054, with p > .001, degree of freedom = 36,  CMIN = 1.085,  RMSEA =. 022, NFI = .918, TLI = .989, GFI= .961, and CFI= .993.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/ijere.v2i1.1667
