Abstract

With the increase in internet users in the current era, especially in office buildings, shopping centers, apartments or other high-rise buildings, the Base Transceiver System (BTS) coverage is not optimal due to the construction of concrete, bricks or steel frames that are dampening the signal. One of the solutions to improve the signal in an Indoor room is Signal Booster. The purpose of this research is to conduct an analysis of the quality of Signal Booster performance in the measurement of walk test and to analyze the potential placement of Signal Booster. The method used is a walk test that aims to determine the value of the received power 4G before and after the installation of Signal Booster. This aims to find out the best layout to be installed by Signal Booster. Based on the results of the research before installing Signal Booster, the room that has the lowest RSRP has an average value of -100dBm to -120dBm. While detelah given a Signal Booster has an average value of -60dBm to 80dBm. This states that Signal Booster can improve the signal quality of the Indoor room

Abstract

The process of sending information there is always interference or noise, the nature of noise cannot be eliminated but can be minimized. In this study, the author uses an IIR Digital Filter because the IIR filter has an impulse of infinite duration so that it can be matched with an analog filter which also has an impulse response of infinite duration. 1 and chebyshev type 2 on MATLAB. MATLAB code is used to create a filter design program according to the specifications that have been made. MATLAB Simulink is used to create a block filter design to be implemented on the Raspberry Pi. Raspberry pi is used as a device to process the filter. The results of running MATLAB code and also Simulink are compared to see if the implementation results are the same as the program results. The types of filters that are good for use in IIR digital filters are Butterworth filters and Chebyshev 2 filters because there is no ripple in the passband. The type of filter that is not good for use in digital IIR filters is the Chebyshev 1 filter. The effect of ripple changes on the order value is that the smaller the ripple value, the larger the resulting order value. The effect of changing the stopband attenuation is that the more the stopband attenuation, the smaller the resulting order.

Abstract

Industrial accidents are accidents that occur in the workplace, especially in an industrial environment. The most important factors in the occurrence of work accidents are technical equipment, work environment, and the workers themselves. Lighting that is not enough to illuminate workers when using machines can cause work accidents during the production process. In addition, hot conditions can also cause work accidents because hot temperatures make the body uncomfortable at work, reduce agility, interfere with the carefulness of the brain, and ease emotions so that workers cannot concentrate and can cause work accidents. The purpose of this research is to create a system that can detect temperature, smoke, and light in a GSM-based industrial environment. This system can help prevent industrial accidents by obtaining information about industrial environmental conditions for workers in the form of SMS. Temperature, smoke, and light sensors will send SMS information when each sensor exceeds the threshold value specified in the program. Information delivery is carried out using 3 different providers, namely Three, Indosat, and Telkomsel by comparing the amount of delay. The test results can be concluded that the three sensors can work well. The temperature sensor can detect temperature with an average error value of 0.03%. The smoke sensor can detect smoke with an average value of 0%. Provider Three can send information with a small average delay, namely 1.46s. Indosat providers can send information with an average delay of 3.68s. Telkomsel providers can send information with an average delay of 1.52s.

Abstract

The average senior spends his time indoors also needs enough exercise, so a static bike is needed that can display heart rate and body temperature data while exercising, so that further action can be taken after knowing the measurement results. On static bikes there are Heart Rate sensors, DS18B20 temperature sensors, and Infrared FC-51 sensors as detectors for the number of laps and wheel speeds. When the elderly start cycling with the selected duration and the photodiode sensor detects the presence of rotation then the Heart Rate sensor and DS18B20 sensor will be able to display heart rate and body temperature data. Data from sensors during cycling is transmitted wirelessly via NodeMCU so that it can be displayed in the android app until the time runs out and the alarm will sound, from the data obtained can result in a normal or abnormal diagnosis of heart rate and body temperature values. In addition, it can also be known the quality of body temperature and heart rate based on the number of rounds and the speed of the wheel. From the results of the study can be concluded that the determination of normal diagnosis in the elderly when the body temperature ranges from 35°C - 38°C and the heart rate can be calculated by a formula that is 220 minus age. During the process of sending data obtained average – troughput average of 9 tests of 6,153 Kb/s with a minimum delay of 28,590 ms and maximal of 88,078 ms.

Abstract

The existence of Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) technology is used to create a system for monitoring gas levels at landfills, in particular, the three gases to be monitored, namely methane gas (CH4), ammonia gas (NH3) and carbon dioxide gas (CO2) which can cause disease. Respiratory tract infection. This monitoring system utilizes Wireless Sensor Network technology so that it can monitor a more comprehensive area using a large number of nodes. The results of communication using the nRF24L01 module from the sensor node to the server with a peer to peer communication model in Line of Sight conditions can communicate at a maximum distance of 120 meters with an average delay of 6.98s and packet loss when sending data as much as 14% which is included in the bad category according to ITU -T G.114. Then to determine the quality of the network when sending data from the server to firebase with Wireshark software, a delay of 261ms was obtained, then for packet loss, the value of 8.3% was found to be in a suitable category according to ITU-T G.114.

Abstract

The boarding house is a temporary residence and is used as a place to store valuables. One of the facilities that need to be improved is the security of the fence and door of the house, because houses are often targets for people who want to commit crimes, so a security system is needed. The majority of security systems on house door locks are currently manual security systems in the form of conventional padlocks. This study aims to develop a system to provide a better level of security accuracy on room doors and boarding house fences, and a payment reminder system so that boarding house payments are more controlled. To open the fence and door of the boarding house occupants, scan the QR code with the android application so that they can access the fence and door of the room. Status has not paid the rent will be given a warning in the form of a pop-up in the android application. The test results obtained are in the form of successful testing of the functionality of the miniature boarding house, testing the SmartKos application, firebase database, and the accuracy of data communication between firebase and NodeMCU in the form of delay with the worst value in the measurement. 3rd with a value of 3.89 s, the best throughput is in the 3rd measurement with a value of 43864 bps, packet loss in this study has an index of 4 because it has a packet loss value of 0%.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country known for its aquaculture. Regular feeding is influential in a good farming management system to obtain quality fish. However, the feeding system is still oriented to human resources that are still manual, resulting in an erratic feeding schedule and size, making it different for each feeding. Feeding planning must be precise so that fish growth is fast. In this research, an automatic fish feeder called "smart fish feeder" was made. This tool uses a microcontroller-based control system that is connected to the internet and an android application. In the control system circuit using the Arduino Uno connected to the ESP32 to be connected to the internet, there are also several actuator and sensor components. The control system gets input to adjust the smart fish feeder device through a smartphone with the smart fish feeder application installed. Based on the results of the tests carried out, for the ultrasonic sensor, the average error value is 6, the error percentage is 0.896%, and the accuracy is 99.104% with a measurement distance of 5-25cm. The loadcell sensor obtained an average error value of 2.8, a percentage error of 0.067%, and an accuracy of 99.933%.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini ditujukan pada warga panti asuhan Al-Husna, untuk memberikan bekal keterampilan tentang dasar-dasar prinsip dasar rangkaian otomatisasi listrik. Dengan adanya pelatihan ini diharapkan peserta anak didik panti bisa lebih memahami dan mempunyai minat yang besar, khususnya tentang dunia elektronika dan aplikasi sensor otomasi. Kegiatan diawali dengan penjelasan singkat mengenai komponen elektronika yang digunakan dan cara kerjanya, eksperimen pada protoboard, kemudian pengujian lampu otomatis. Sensor passive infra red (PIR) digunakan pada pelatihan ini karena sifat kerjanya yang sederhana, sehingga mudah dipahami oleh peserta awam. Di akhir kegiatan, terlihat bahwa kemampuan dan pengetahuan peserta mengenai komponen elektronika meningkat. Peserta dengan tingkat pendidikan yang lebih tinggi, dalam hal ini SMA dapat menyerap informasi dan keterampilan yang lebih baik dibandingkan peserta dengan tingkat pendidikan SMP karena sudah memiliki dasar ilmu kelistrikan yang lebih baik.

Abstract

Communication plays an important role in society. This can be seen in the amount of information that is spread, such as information in the form of sound, images, and videos. But communicating is not always easy. Due to the large number of sounds emitted from different sources, other sounds will be disturbed. The interference caused by noise can distort the information signal, leading a sine wave to integrate a minor noise signal. As a result, the receiver cannot differentiate the actual information signal and the added noise. This study proposed a noise-reduction system by analyzing the effect of the number of filter orders on the noise canceler system. The information signal will be processed using the STM32F4 noise canceller system, which will then be filtered using an adaptive filter with a Finite Impulse Response (FIR) structure and the Least Mean Square (LMS) algorithm. The test results show that the best SNR value is obtained at Order 40 of 5.3671 dB at a sound duration of 14 seconds, while the best PSNR value is obtained at Order 40 of 21.3557 at a sound duration of 9 seconds, and the higher the filter order value, the smaller the MSE value.
