Abstract

The southern coast of Yogyakarta, is one area that has the potential to be developed as sustainable tourism in DIY, such as Parangtritis Beach, Glagah Beach and Baron Beach. This article discusses the system of processing sustainable tourism products that exist in the southern region of DIY in order to become leading tourism in welcoming the Indian Ocean Century. Research has been conducted using descriptive methods with a qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out using observation and interviews with Tiagulation analysis techniques and SWOT analysis. The results show that Parangtritis Beach is superior to Glagah Beach and Baron Beach in terms of developing attractiveness, facilities and accessibility. In addition, the relationship between the partnership pattern between the government and the tourism industry is very well coordinated and community empowerment is also seen as a mobilizer. Tourism product development, partnership patterns and community empowerment at Baron Beach have been carried out effectively and sustainably. Whereas in Glagah Beach, the processing of tourism products has experienced many obstacles, due to the construction of Yogyakarta's new airport which has an impact on the condition of tourism products as well as a shift in land use from the center of agro-tourism activities to the new airport area and lack of attention from the local government.

Abstract

Consideration from a public health perspective on covid-19 prevention and control for the tourism sector is needed as a recommended approach to be taken by the tourism sector. Community service activities are carried out by handing over some equipment to prevent the spread of covid-19 in welcoming new normal conditions at tourist destinations, which can be used by Pokdarwis members in serving tourists. Prevention equipment includes face shields that can be used by ticket sales officers, parking attendants, tour guides, handsanitisers to maintain the cleanliness of every tourist who will enter the Klayar tourist destination, and cloth masks used by Pokdarwis members in providing services to tourists. Covid-19 pandemic has led to new behaviors in the community, which is much more concerned about hygiene, health, and safety factors, including for tourism destinations

Abstract

Community behavior and environmental conditions are very potential for leptospirosis cases. The main source of transmission is strongly suspected to be in the vicinity of residential neighborhoods that have standing water and the presence of rats. The aims to identify leptospirosis cases, behavioral and environmental factors for empowering the management of health oriented water tourism. Method: Descriptive with cross sectional design. Results: People bathing and washing clothes at water sources around the water attractions. Water swallowed while swimming or submerging the body has been contaminated with bacteria. Water tourism managers make efforts to minimize the breeding grounds of rats. Conclusion: Health oriented management can develop the potential and attractiveness of tourists. A history of water travel can increase the risk of leptospirosis

Abstract

In the past the function of the hotel was only as a place to stay for consumers who travel on business or tourism and do not have a relationship or family at their destination. Sharia concept hotels continue to grow along with the needs of Muslim consumers around the world. The concept of sharia hotels also continues to grow in Indonesia, especially in the Yogyakarta region as one of the tourist destinations in Indonesia. This study aims to determine the effect of price, service quality and brand image on customer loyalty of sharia hotels in Yogyakarta Special Region both partially and simultaneously.This type of research is causally comparative. The variables in this study are price, service quality, brand image and customer loyalty. The population in this study are customers who have visited sharia hotels in Yogyakarta. Sampling was done by nonrandom sampling, specifically using purposive sampling where the sample was taken from the population, with the following criteria: 1) Customers who had stayed in sharia hotels in Yogyakarta more than twice, and 2) Respondents aged 18 years. The sample in this study was taken as many as 100 respondents. Data collection techniques using questionnaires. Data analysis used is multiple linear regression analysis.Based on the results of the study, the following conclusions are obtained: (1) Prices have a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty; (2) Service quality has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty; (3) Brand image has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty; and (4) Price, service quality, and brand image have a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the development of agrotourism Kampoeng Kopi Banaran and to analyze employee performance in supporting the development of agrotourism in Kampoeng Kopi Banaran, in Semarang Regency. In particular the goal is to find out how management efforts in developing agrotourism Kampoeng Kopi Banaran, management of human resources, employee performance in supporting the development of agrotourism.The study is mixed methods using 56 respondents as samples. While data analysis in this research using multiple regression analysis using F test and t test. The results of the data analysis of socio-demographic explain that influence on the performance showed that age, gender, education, family status, employment status and work experience positively affect employee performance. While F-test states that jointly age, gender, education, family status, employment status and work experience affect the performance. t test in this research shows there is no significant influence of gender on the performance, no significant influence of the family status on the performance. The conclusions of this study are that there is a positive and significant influence of socio-demographic on emplyoee performance and there is a positive and significant influence between employee performance against agrotourism understanding in Kampoeng Kopi Banaran. Abstract

There are significant developments in tourism in Indonesia, indicated by increase in numbers of tourist visit in every popular tourism destination. All destinations now gear up to win the competition in winning tourist interest to visit their facilities. To be able to win the competition, stake holders needs to understand the behavior of the tourist towards their decisions to visit the destinations. The decision to choose which destination to visit is affected by many factors. Two of major factors are satisfaction and facilities. The facilities are includes public facilities, tourist information, dining place, health and safety support facilities, Merchandising and shopping outlets. This research will use quantitative approach by employing samples taken with accidental sampling method from all visitors which happen to be acquainted with the researcher. The data analysis utilizes Multiple Regression Method to determine correlation between multiple independent variables which affecting one dependent variable. The result of the research indicates that simultaneous factor of comfort ability of facilities and the satisfaction affecting the behavior to revisit the destination. However, partially, only the factors of facilities security and visitor’s satisfaction affecting decision to revisit. The other factors were insignificant and not affecting. This research limits it object to The Tourism destination of Goa Rancang Kencana and Sri Gethuk Water Fall at Gunungkidul, Yogyakarta. Abstract

This journal was written to explain the affection of tourism awareness of society to visiting desire of visitor to a destination. In this paper the matters are narrow into a area that called Tourism Village of Kebon Agung that located in Imogiri, Bantul, Yogyakarta. There are some factors that affect visiting desire and one of them is Tourism Awareness. An tourism attraction without support from society that life around that has tourism awareness seems has low value to sell, by that case the author rise this theme and did a research in Desa Wisata Kebon Agung by used quantitative analyzing with Pruduct-moment equality as the best approaching and show up how far the affect of society tourism awareness to visiting desire. The research tool is questioner and the result of analyzing is the society tourism awareness has high level affect to visit desire. This result is best for area around Kebon Agung and possibility has a same thing with another village. It is a good thing if society are aware with tourism, start from where they living and finally develop national tourism. Keywords: Affection, Tourism, Society

Abstract

Promoting a tourist destination, Facebook is one of the best social media platfroms can be employed. Facebook has been known by everyone for a long time and hence even though there are many new features, people are still using Facebook. By posting on Facebook wall, most young people shared something including tourism promotion. They will post photos or videos with exciting words and greetings to other polite users. Indeed, previously tourism promotion was still minimal because many people were not familiar with social media. But along with the times, their mindset changed. They learn to use social media and at the same time make tourism is getting more intense in Indonesia. Here we will briefly discuss Facebook as a medium for promoting tourism in Indonesia. We present a review on the usage of Facebook as a platform for tourism promotion made by many scholars in Indonesia. We further present a discussion on what should tourism business player should do on their Facebook promotion page. Finally, we present open problems for future research recommendations.

Abstract

Abstract-- This study aims to examine the effect of innovation in infrastructure on visitor satisfaction at Ponggok Umbul tourist attraction, Klaten. The research method used is quantitative descriptive analysis method. The data collection technique is carried out through questionnaires using non probability sampling techniques to 100 respondents in Umbul Ponggok tourism object, with taking using incidental sampling techniques. The collected data is tabulated and then analyzed using simple linear regression analysis. From the results of calculations using SPSS 16, the results show that infrastructure facilities have an influence on the satisfaction of tourists visiting Umbul Ponggok with a value of 5.78%, and 94.22% influenced by other variables not examined in this study. And from the results of the T test it is known that the significance results are 0.016 or <from the probability value of 0.05, this result shows that the innovation of infrastructure means has a significant effect on visitor satisfaction at the Ponggok Umbul attraction, Klaten. Keywords: Tourist Satisfaction, Infrastructure Innovation, Umbul Ponggok  Abstrak-- Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh inovasi sarana dan prasarana terhadap kepuasan wisatawan di objek wisata Umbul Ponggok, Klaten. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner menggunakan teknik non probability sampling untuk 100 responden di objek wisata Umbul Ponggok, dengan pengambilan menggunakan teknik sampling insidental. Data yang dikumpulkan ditabulasi dan kemudian dianalisis menggunakan analisis regresi linier sederhana. Dari hasil perhitungan menggunakan SPSS 16, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa fasilitas sarana dan prasarana memiliki pengaruh terhadap kepuasan wisatawan yang berkunjung ke Umbul Ponggok dengan nilai 5,78%, dan 94,22% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini. Dan dari hasil uji T diketahui bahwa hasil signifikansi 0,016 atau < dari nilai probabilitas 0,05, hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa inovasi sarana dan prasarana memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kepuasan pengunjung di objek wisata Umbul Ponggok, Klaten. Kata kunci: Kepuasan Wisatawan, Inovasi Sarana dan Prasarana, Umbul Ponggok

Abstract

Abstrak – Umbul Square merupakan salah satu destinasi wisata yang terletak di Madiun, Jawa Timur. Salah satu daya tarik dari wisata ini adalah pemandian air panas alami yang berasal dari belerang. Selain memiliki pemandian air panas, Umbul Square ini ternyata memiliki nilai sejarah, karena umbul ini sudah ada dari masa pendudukan Belanda. Namun, dilihat dari segi pengelolaan, destinasi wisata ini memiliki wahana wisata yang menghasilkan polusi udara, sehingga bisa merusak alam yang ada di Umbul Square. Selain itu, belum adanya pengelolaan sampah yang tepat, sedangkan destinasi wisata ini memiliki nilai sejarah yang seharusnya dijaga kelestarian lingkunganya. Salah satu langkah yang tepat untuk mengelola kelestarian dari wisata ini adalah dengan mengelola secara ekowisata, selain memperhatikan aspek wisata, sosial dan ekonomi juga memperhatikan lingkungan.  Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan analisis SWOT. Hasil penelitian diperoleh beberapa strategi pengelolaan yang bisa diterapkan, seperti melakukan pengolahan sampah dengan membedakan sampah sesuai kategori, meminimalisir penggunaan wahana yang menghasilkan polusi dan menambah atau mengganti dengan wahana-wahana yang ramah lingkungan serta hemat energi. Selain itu, pengelola juga bisa membuat fasilitas pendukung dengan menggunakan bahan-bahan ramah lingkungan, seperti kayu, bamboo dan bahan alam lainnya. Kata kunci:  Ekowisata, Umbul Square, SWOT Umbul Square Tourism Park Management Based on Ecotourism in Madiun Regency, East JavaAbstract – Umbul Square is one of the tourist destinations located in Madiun, East Java. One of the attractions of this tour is the natural hot spring bathing from sulfur. In addition to having a hot spring, Umbul Square turns out to have historical value, because this pennant already existed from the time of the Dutch occupation. However, in terms of management, this tourist destination has a vehicle that produces air pollution, so that it can damage the nature that is in Umbul Square. In addition, there is no proper waste management yet, while this tourist destination has a historical value that should be preserved for the environment. One of the right steps to manage the sustainability of this tour is to manage ecotourism, in addition to paying attention to aspects of tourism, social and economic as well as the environment. This research uses descriptive qualitative method with SWOT analysis. The results obtained by several management strategies that can be applied, such as processing waste by differentiating waste according to category, minimizing the use of vehicles that produce pollution and adding or replacing vehicles that are environmentally friendly and energy efficient. In addition, the manager can also make supporting facilities by using environmentally friendly materials, such as wood, bamboo and other natural materials. Keyword : Ecotourism, Umbul Square, SWOT
