Abstract

Radio frequency identification (RFID) is a tool for identifying objects using radio waves. RFID reader consists of a reader and a tag as the object is read. This technology is efficiently used in the manual library UNTAD as library card for its use without having direct contact (Contacless). Results of identification RFID reader in the form of a unique series of numbers. RFID reader is connected directly to a PC via a USB cable (Universal Serial Bus), so that the identification appear on the LCD monitor screen. The identification result is managed by the application that is made from Visual Basic 6 with GUI (grapichal User Interface) that simple connected in Acess 2007 database so that the library data is stored properly. Microcontroller ATMega8535 serves as a voice recorder module controller ISD 1820 remind visitors to fill out the list of visitors of the PIR sensor detection results when there are visitors who come in and as recipients visitor data contained in the application is then displayed on the LCD 2x16. From the combination of these technologies can overcome UNTAD library system is still manual because it produces a rapid and accurate data.

Abstract

Research on the acute toxicity test of methanol extracts of keji beling leaves (Strobilanthes crispus BI.), stems and flowers of jarak tintir (Jatropha multifida L.) against Artemia salina Leach larvae using Brine Shrimp Lethality Test method (BSLT) had been carried out. The purpose of this study was to determine the potency of acute toxicity of methanol extract which were shown by LC50 value. In this research, the sample methanol were obtained from a previous research. Acute toxicity tests was conducted to determine the LC50 values of plant extracts according to the method of Brine Shrimp Lethality Test. Results of the research showed methanol extract of keji beling leaves were not toxic with LC50 value 4427,95 μg/mL, meanwhile stems and flowers of jarak tintir had low toxicity with LC50 225,09 and 253,26 μg/mL, respectively. The value of LC50 influenced by the content of secondary metabolites in plants.Keywords : Acute toxicity test, Brine Shrimp Lethality Test, LC50, J. multifida, S. crispus

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji proses berpikir siswa SMP dalam memecahkan masalah matematika ditinjau dari gaya kognitif dan gender. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksploratif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dan pengamatan dalam penelitian diketahui bahwa: 1) pada tahap memahami masalah ketiga subjek penelitian cenderung proses berpikir konseptual, dan untuk subjek impulsif laki-laki cenderung proses berpikir semikonseptual. 2) pada tahap merencanakan penyelesaian, keempat subjek penelitian cenderung proses berpikirnya konseptual. 3) pada tahap melaksanakan rencana, subjek reflektif laki-laki dan perempuan cenderung proses berpikirnya konseptual, hanya subjek reflektif perempuan diberi pertanyaan tambahan hingga menyadari kekeliruannya. Sedangkan subjek impulsif laki-laki dan perempuan cenderung proses berpikirnya semikonseptual karena kurang mampu dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan dengan menggunakan konsep yang telah dipelajari. 4) pada tahap memeriksa kembali, ketiga subjek penelitian cenderung proses berpikir konseptual sedangkan impulsif laki-laki cenderung proses berpikirnya semikonseptual. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa proses berpikir siswa dalam memecahkan suatu masalah memiliki karakteristik yang berbeda dilihat dari gaya kognitif dan gender.Kata kunci: Proses berpikir matematik, Gaya Kognitif, Pemecahan Masalah Matematik, GenderAbstract: This study aims to examine the thinking process of junior high school students in solving mathematical problems in terms of cognitive style and gender. This type of research is exploratory research with a qualitative approach. The data analysis technique in this study consisted of three stages: (1) data reduction, (2) data presentation (3) interpretation and conclusion. Based on the results of data analysis and observations in the study, it was found that: 1) at the stage of understanding the problems, the three research subjects tended to involve conceptual thinking processes, and male impulsive subjects tended to involve semiconseptual thinking processes. 2) at the stage of planning completion, the four research subjects tended to involve conceptual thinking processes. 3) at the stage of carrying out the plan, male and female reflective subjects tended to involve conceptual thinking processes, only the reflective subjects women were given additional questions to realize their mistakes. In addition, impulsive subjects of men and women tended to involve semiconseptual thinking processes because they were less able to solve problems using concepts that had been learned. 4) at the re-examination stage, the three research subjects tended to involve conceptual thinking processes while impulsive men tended to involve semiconseptual thinking processes. Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperastif tipe TAI dengan pendekatan saintifik.  Penelitian ini menggunakan desain eksperimen preetest-postest control group design.  Populasi penelitian penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 20 Kendari, sampel penelitian diambil dua kelas dengan teknik Purposive sampling dan penentuan kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol dipilih secara random.  Siswa kelas eksperimen mendapat model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TAI dengan pendekatan saintifik dan kelas kontrol mendapat model pembelajaran PBL dengan pendekatan saintifik.  Instrumen yang yang digunakan adalah pretest dan posttest untuk kemampuan representasi matematis.  Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan inferensial dengan uji hipotesis menggunakan Uji t , dan uji t berpasangan pada .  Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa secara keseluruhan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa yang mendapat model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TAI dengan pendekatan saintifik memperoleh peningkatan yang signifikan lebih tinggi dari pada siswa yang mendapat model pembelajaran PBL dengan pendekatan saintifik.Kata kunci: Kemampuan representasi Matematis, model pembelajaran Kooperaif tipe TAI, Model Pembelajaran PBL dan Pendekatan Saintifik. Abstract: The purpose of this study was to increase students’ ability in mathematic representation by applying the Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) type of cooperative learning model integrated into scientific approach. The study used a pretest-posttest control group design. Population of the study included all students of class VIII in SMP Negeri 20 of Kendari, and samples were two classes determined using the purposive sampling technique. One experimental class and one control class were assigned randomly. Students in the experimental class received the Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) type of cooperative learning model with scientific approach, whereas their cohorts in the control class were taught using the PBL model with scientific approach. Instruments used were pretest and posttest to measure the students’ mathematic representation ability. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics, whereas hypotheses testing were performed using t-test, and paired t-test at α = 0.05. Based on the result of data analysis, it could be concluded overall the mathematic representation ability demonstrated by the students who received the TAI type of cooperative learning model with scientific approach increase significantly higher than that gained shown by their cohorts who were taught using the PBL model with scientific approach. Keywords: mathematic representation ability, TAI type of cooperative learning model, PBL model, scientific approach

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perbedaan pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran TTW dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran quipper dan penerapan model pembelajran TTW dengan textbook terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah ditinjau dari disposisi matematis siswa. Sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dan random class. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan Uji ANAVA dengan RAK dan Uji t Beda Dua Rataan dari data N-Gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Secara signifikan rata-rata peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran TTW+Quipper sebesar lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan rata-rata peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran TTW+Teksbook sebesar ; (2) Secara signifikan rata-rata peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran TTW+Quipper sebesar lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan rata-rata peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis  siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran TTW+Teksbook sebesar ; (3) Secara signifikan rata-rata peningkatan kemampuan menulis matematis siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran TTW+Quipper sebesar lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan rata-rata peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan  matematis siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran TTW+Teksbook sebesar 8.Kata Kunci: Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematis, Disposisi Matematis, Pembelajaran Think Talk Write, Quipper, TeksbookAbstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the difference effect of TTW learning model application between Quipper learning media and learning models. TTW with textbooks on problem-solving skills in terms of students' mathematical dispositions. Sampling techniques used were purposive sampling and random class techniques. The data analyzed used ANOVA Test with RAK and two-sample t-test from N-Gain. The result of the study revealed that (1) significantly, the mean increase in the students' mathematical problem-solving abilities who taught by TTW + Quipper learning model was x ̅ = 0.483. It means, it was higher than the mean increase in students' mathematical problem solving abilities who taught by TTW + Textbook learning model where x ̅ = 0.2723; (2) significantly, the mean increase in students' mathematical problem solving abilities who taught by TTW + Quipper learning model was x ̅ = 0.3978. It was higher than the mean increase in students' mathematical problem solving abilities which was taught by TTW + Textbook learning model where x = 0.1436; (3) significantly, the mean increase in students' mathematical writing skills who taught by TTW + Quipper learning model was x ̅ = 0.2698. Abstract

In this article we discuss several methods for predicting nickel ore content inside the soil under a given area/region. The prediction is the main objective of the exploration activity which is very important for conducting the exploitation activity from economic point of view. The prediction methods are based on the data obtained from the drilling activity at several ‘points’. The data yields information on the nickel density at those points. Nickel density over the region is approximated (with an approximate function) by applying interpolation and/or extrapolation based on the data from those points. The nickel content is predicted by applying integral of the approximate function over the given region

Abstract

Fosfor (P) merupakan hara utama kedua yang membatasi produksi tanaman, namun ketersediaannya di dalam tanah sangat masalah karena reaksi presipitasi dengan Al+3 dan Fe+3 pada tanah masam atau Ca+2 pada tanah alkalin. Selama beberapa tahun terakhir, pemanfaatan mikroba tanah di anggap sebagai salah satu alternatif untuk meningkatkan ketersediaan P untuk tanaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengisolasi dan mengidentifikasi kapang pelarut fosfat dari rizosfer bambu dan gadung. Isolasi kapang pelarut fosfat dilakukan pada kondisi in vitro, melalui serangkaian pengenceran dengan menggunakan media Pikovskaya padat. Hasil penelitian diperoleh dua isolat dari rizosfer gadung dan satu isolat dari rizosfer bambu. Namun, hasil uji kelarutan P hanya satu isolat dari gadung yang menunjukkan zona bening di sekitar koloni. Secara kualitatif, kelarutan P bervariasi antara 2,405 dan 2,052 untuk gadung dan bamboo. Analisis numerik-fenetik mengungkapkan bahwa isolat kapang dari gadung terdeteksi sebagai Talaromyces aculeatus dengan indeks kesamaan 100% dan isolat kapang dari bambu teridentifikasi sebagai Fuzarium proliferatum dengan indeks kesamaan 89,7% dibandingkan dengan kapang acuan.Kata kunci : Asam organik, kapang, phosphate,  pelarut, rizosfer

Abstract

The problem in this study is the low dribbling or dribbling skills performed by football players at SD Negeri 11 Pulau Mungkur, Kuantan Singingi Regency. This study aims to determine the contribution of eye-foot coordination and agility to the dribbling skills of soccer players at SD Negeri 11 Mungkur Island, Kuantan Singingi Regency. This type of research is correlational. The population in this study were all students of SD Negeri 11 Pulau Mungkur, Kuantan Singingi Regency who actively participated in extracurricular activities in the soccer sport, totaling 21 people. The sampling technique used total sampling. Data were collected using measurements of the three variables. the eye-foot coordination variable used the kick test against the target wall, and to measure agility using the 4X10 meter roundtrip test. Meanwhile, the skill of dribbling the ball uses a dodging test. Data were analyzed with product moment correlation and continued with multiple correlation. Based on the results of data analysis, it shows that the first hypothesis is that there is a contribution of eye-foot coordination to ball dribbling skills of 20.43%. The second hypothesis is that there is a contribution of agility to ball dribbling skills by 23.91%. While the third hypothesis is that there is a joint contribution of eye-foot coordination and agility to soccer dribbling skills at SD Negeri 11 Pulau Mungkur, Kuantan Singingi Regency of 35.28%.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aimed to determine the potential inhibition of ethanol extract of Etlingera alba rhizome against the Cronobacter muytjensiis bacteria and its development in a granule dosage form. Measurement of Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC) using the Broth Microdilution method while granule formulation used the wet granulation method. The results of this study indicate a concentration of 32μg/mL in C. muytjensii as an inhibition of bacterial growth by looking at the absorbance value that was close to 0 and confirmed by spectrophotometric results to see the turbidity of each concentration. This study used 12 extract concentrations, namely 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512, 102, and 4096 μg/mL. The granule formulation used 5% gelatin as a binder, Explotab® 4%, 1% magnesium stearate, aerosil PH 101 4%, and lactose ad. 100%. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah ada: (1) Perbedaan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri se-Kecamatan Poleang Barat ditinjau dari motivasi belajar, gaya belajar dan jenis kelamin (2) Interaksi antara motivasi belajar dan gaya belajar terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri se-Kecamatan Poleang Barat. Jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain ex post facto. Populasi penelitian ini berjumlah 101 siswa laki-laki dan 105 siswa perempuan. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan proporsional random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan angket dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dengan analisis variansi dua jalan dengan sel yang tak sama. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dengan taraf signifikansi 5% diperoleh kesimpulan: (1) Ada Perbedaan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri se-Kecamatan Poleang Barat ditinjau dari motivasi belajar, gaya belajar dan jenis kelamin (2) Tidak da Perbedaan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri se-Kecamatan Poleang Barat ditinjau dari gaya belajar dan jenis kelamin(3) tidak ada interaksi antara motivasi belajar dan gaya belajar terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri se-Kecamatan Poleang Barat
