Abstract

This research was conducted in Kendari City at Southeast Sulawesi Province on July to August 2012. The aims of this research are to analyze the channels and marketing institution, to know part of price is accepted by broiler farmer and marketing institution, to analyze the rate of marketing margin of broiler farmer, the rate of marketing institution and consumer with the rate of broiler farmer income. This research is expected can be used as: (1) as the information and consideration for broiler farmer (2) as  the consideration  for broiler farmer in  the marketing,  as  a consideration  to  determine the policy,  to  improve productivity and  patterning of marketing in Kendari City. The research material is a good broiler farmer miter or not miters to the company with production capacity between 2.500 to 4.000 tails. The method of the research is survey research. While to determine the location of this research by using purposive sampling and took 35 respondents consisted 5 broiler farmers and 30 intermediary traders by using purposive. Tabulation data was obtained and analyzed by marketing margin and the rate of broiler farmer income were elaborated  on  descriptive  manner.  The  result  showed  that  the  broiler  marketing channel at Kendari City involved 4 types with two marketing institutions involved: trader collector and trader retailer, the part of price received by broiler farmer from the last consumer was 68,8% whereas the part of price received by marketing institutions was 31,2%, marketing margin on the broiler price from broiler farmer to the last consumer was Rp.14.150 tails-1  (the sale of broiler in the level of broiler farmer was Rp.31.200 tails-1, broiler farmer to the trader collector was Rp. 9.000 tails- 1  and trader collector to retailers was 5.150 tails-1) and the rate of the broiler farmer income in Kendari City was Rp.17.046.139 cycle-1 or Rp.5.013 tails-1 cycle-1.   Key words: marketing, income, broiler, marketing margin

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pendapatan usaha ternak sapi Bali yang terintegrasi dengan perkebunan kelapa. Penentuan lokasi penelitian dilakukan secara sengaja (purposive sampling), didasarkan atas pertimbangan bahwa Kecamatan Kambowa dan Bonegunu memiliki usaha ternak sapi Bali yang terintegrasi perkebunan kelapa. Responden diambil secara purposive sampling dengan mengambil 30 orang di Kecamatan Kambowa dan 30 orang di Kecamatan Bonegunu sehingga jumlah responden 60 orang, selanjutnya data di analasis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan rata-rata pendapatan usaha ternak sapi Bali di Kecamatan Kambowa sebesar Rp. 132.889 bulan-1, dan usahatani perkebunan kelapa sebesar Rp. 817.368 bulan-1 kemudian rata-rata pendapatan usaha ternak sapi Bali yang terintegrasi dengan usahatani perkebunan kelapa sebesar Rp. 950.257 bulan-1. Sedangkan rata-rata pendapatan usaha ternak sapi Bali di Kecamatan Bonegunu sebesar Rp. 89.278 bulan-1, dan usahatani perkebunan kelapa sebesar Rp. 629.306 bulan-1 kemudian rata-rata pendapatan usaha ternak sapi Bali yang terintegrasi dengan usahatani perkebunan kelapa sebesar Rp. 718.583 bulan-1.

Abstract

Ternak Kambing khususnya betina memiliki potensi reproduksi yang dapat diukur berdasarkan kelahiran anak yang sehat, jarak kelahiran dan tipe kelahiran. Kecamatan Siompu merupakan daerah di Kabupaten Buton Selatan yang berpotensi untuk pengembangan usaha ternak kambing. Untuk menggali potensi usaha ternak kambing di Kecamatan ini memerlukan berbagai informasi salah satunya yaitu informasi mengenai potensi reproduksi kambing betina, namun informasi ilmiah mengenai hal ini belum tersedia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui potensi reproduksi kambing betina yang dipelihara secara tradisional di Kecamatan Siompu. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada Bulan Januari sampai Febuari 2019 di Kecamatan Siompu Kabupaten Buton Selatan. Penentuan lokasi dilakukan secara sengaja (Purposive Sampling) dengan pertimbangan bahwa di Desa tersebut memiliki populasi kambing terbanyak. Desa yang dipilih adalah Desa Biwinapada, Nggulanggula, Wakinamboro, Batuawu dan Desa Karae, sedangkan responden diambil sebanyak 40 peternak. Variabel yang diukur pada penelitian ini adalah potensi reprosuksi ternak kambing, meliputi : jumlah anak yang dilahirkan (litter size), tipe kelahiran dan jarak beranak (kidding interval) dan lama waktu kosong. Data dikumpulkan, dianalisa secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan kambing betina di Kecamatan Siompu memiliki persentase tipe kelahiran tunggal jantan yaitu 59,3%, betina 41,7% sedangkan tipe kelahiran kembar jantan sebesar 7,6% dan anak betina 6,5%, litter size 1,21 ekor dan rata-rata jarak beranak 8,2 bulan/248 hari, rata-rata lama bunting yaitu 150/5 bulan dan lama waktu kosong 3,2 bulan

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the income of layer chicken farmer with partnership system at Lamonggedo Jaya farmer group. This study was conducted in Sub-district Baruga, Kendari City on January 2017. Materials used in this study were layer chicken. Location of this research was determined by purposive sampling based on consideration that farmer group Lamonggedo Jaya has population of layer chicken in laying phase as many as 4,609 chickens. Research variables were production cost (cage, breed, feed, medicine, vaccine, employee, electric, and water) and income source (egg and natural fertilizer). Data were collected and tabulated, then analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively by using the formula = TR-TC. Result of the study showed that income of layer chicken farmer at farmer group Lamonggedo Jaya was Rp. 9.215.

Abstract

The development of poultry farming business is increasing rapidly and contributes greatly in the fulfillment of protein needs. The business sector of processed chicken meat such as cafes, restaurants, and restaurants and sea food to meet the needs of consumers. The research aims to analyze the type of service in influencing the satisfaction of consumers of Wong Solo Kendari Branch by using survey methods and using accidental sampling techniques as many as 60 respondents. It is then analyzed using multiple linear regression tests. The results showed physical evidence, reliability, responsiveness, service assurance, and caring together have a very real effect on consumer satisfaction (p<0.01) in Wong Solo restaurants and factors that correlate positively to customer satisfaction are responsiveness, service assurance and care, while variables that correlate negatively to consumer satisfaction are physical evidence and reliability. Variable concern partially affects consumer satisfaction (P<0.01).

Abstract

The research aims to analyze the marketing of eggs in the chicken farming business partnership pattern in the group of farmers Lamonggedo Jaya, Baruga District, Kendari City in December 2020. The object of the study was laying hens as well as all aspects related to egg marketing and determined purposively. Variables in the research in the form of characteristics of respondents, marketing agencies, marketing channels, marketing margins, costs and profits of each marketing institution are analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The results of the analysis showed there are four patterns of egg marketing channels, among others, (1) Breeder  company  great traders  retailer merchants  end consumer, (2) Breeder  company  great traders  retailer merchants  end consumer, (3) Breeder  company  retailer merchants  end consumer, (4) Breeder  company  end consumer. The highest margin on the 1st marketing channel pattern is Rp. 17,500/shelf, the 4th lowest marketing channel is Rp. 4,000/shelf and the marketing channel in the highest expenditure is the 4th marketing channel Rp. 5,318/shelf. The marketing channel that has the highest profit is the 1st marketing channel Rp. 12.182/shelf. The most efficient marketing channel used by end consumers is the 4th marketing channel because of its lowest marketing margin value.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the marketing of beef cattle in the Sub District Konda and Ranomeeto Barat, Konawe Selatan Regency, held in October 2017. The subjects in this study were beef cattle traders and all the aspects related to the marketing of beef cattle. The research location was determined by purposive sampling. Measured variables included the characteristics of respondents, marketing agencies, marketing channels, marketing margins, costs and benefits of any marketing agencies, and marketing efficiency. Data were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. Results indicated that there are four marketing channels of beef cattle in the Sub District of Konda and Ranomeeto Barat, namely (1) the farmer - the end consumer, (2) the farmer - the trader - the end consumer, (3) farmer - wholesalers - the end customer, (4) the farmer - trader - wholesalers - the end consumer. The highest margin was on the marketing channel 3 as much as Rp 1,222,026/head and the lowest was in the marketing channel 2 as much as Rp 461,895/head. The highest costs were in the marketing channel 4 as much as Rp 400,000/head, and the highest profit was in the marketing channel 3 as much as Rp 1,022,026/head. The most efficient marketing channel used was the marketing channel 3, with the marketing efficiency value 2.71%.

Abstract

The development of beef cattle farms can be done through an integrated system and the involvement of family labor. The objective of this study is to know the family labor productivity in the integrated Bali cattle business and palm oil plantations in Wiwirano District, North Konawe Regency. The research material is breeders in the District of Wiwirano who carry out the integration efforts of Bali cattle and palm oil, As many as 4 villages in Wiwirano district, that integrated the Bali cattle and oil palm were determined by stratified sampling. 60 respondents from 4 villages were selected using simple random sampling. The average allocation of family labor in the Bali cattle business reaches 5,635 hours/day or 0,653 HOK/day. While the allocation of family labor in the palm oil business reaches 10,121 hours/day or 1,151 HOK. The technical productivity of the Bali cattle business is 4,72 ST/HOK and economic productivity is Rp 83.983,43/HOK. While the technical productivity of the oil palm plantation business is 133,69 kg/HOK and economic productivity is Rp 120.772,75/HOK.Keywords: Labor, Bali Cattle, Palm Oil.
