Penelitian bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa pada aspek kebahasaan dan pada aspek nonkebahasaan dengan menggunakan metode bermain di kelas V SD Plus Bina 45 Pontianak Timur. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam 2 siklus dengan hasil akhir penelitian yang diperoleh yaitu aspek kebahasaan (52,8%) pada siklus I, (73,6%) pada siklus II, aspek nonkebahasaan (37,6%) pada siklus I, dan (76%) pada siklus II. Dari data yang telah diperoleh dapat disimpulkan terjadi peningkatan keterampilan berbicara siswa pada aspek kebahasaan yaitu (20,8%) dan non kebahasaan sebesar (38,4%). Maka dapat disimpulkan penggunaan metode bermain dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa di Kelas V SD Plus Bina 45 Pontianak Timur. Abstract: This research aims to increasing speaking ability of students on language aspect and on non-language aspect with utilize playing metodh in Fifth Grade of Elementary School Plus Bina 45 in East Pontianak. The Metodh that used was a description metodh. The form that used was a classroom action research. This research was did on two cycles with the final result of the research that obtain from on the language aspect was (52,8%) on first cycle, (73,6%) on second cycle, on the non-language aspect was (37,6%) on first cycle, and (76%) on second cycle. Based on the data that was obtained can conclude there was happen increasing speaking ability on students on the language aspect was (20,8%) and on the non-language aspect was (38,4%). It means can conclude utilizing playing metodh can increasing speaking ability of students in Fifth Grade of Elementary School Plus Bina 45 in East Pontianak.
