Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis blended learning. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Thiagarajan, yaitu model 4D tanpa melakukan Disseminate (penyebaran). Sumber data diperoleh dari lembar validasi dari satu dosen kimia dan dua guru kimia sebagai validator ahli media dan materi dan dua guru kimia sebagai sasaran penggunaan produk, lembar keterlaksanaan kegiatan pembelajaran diperoleh dari dua obsever, dan angket respon siswa. Hasil validasi dari pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran didapatkan 84,06%, keterlaksanaan  kegiatan pembelajaran 96,03%, dan respon siswa 90,95% sehingga perangkat ini dapat digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Kata kunci: Blended learning, Perangkat pembelajaran , Oksidasi-Reduksi. The objective of this research is to investigate the development of learning kit based on blended learning. The method used in this research is Thiagarajan method 4D models without Disseminate. The sources of data were obtained from validation sheets of a chemistry lecture and two chemistry teacher as expert validators of media-material of chemistry subject, implementation sheet from two observers and questionnaire responses. The result of this validation was 84,06% , implementation activities96,03%,and student responses 90.95%  so that learning kit can be used in the learning process Keywords: Blended learning, Learning kit, Oxidation-Reduction

Abstract

Cross-linked chitosan with 78,12% deacetylation degree, synthesed from chitosan bead with 135,982% swelling degree were conducted. Chitosan bead has prepared from chitosan that was dissolved with watery acetic acid and coagulated with sodium hydroxide. Chitosan with 79,6% deacetylation degree was prepared from chitin that was submitted to a deacetylation reaction. Chitin were applied, isolated from giant tiger shrimp that was submitted to a demineral and deproteination reaction. Functional group of the cross-linked chitosan with glutaraldehyde were investigated by the Infra Red spectroscopy and deacetylation degree were investigated by the base line methods. Chitin, chitosan and chitosan bead have the same structure. The difference between chitin and chitosan was the deacetylation degree and chitosan bead in the physical shape. The deacetylation degree and swelling degree of chitosan bead was decreased by cross-linking process.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the feasibility of interactive multimedia based inquiry on material Human Reproduction System to improve learning outcomes and practice students critical thinking skill. The feasibility product is measuring by validity, practically and effectiveness result. The validity product by looking expert media, and content expert valued. The practicaly instructional package showed by learning implementation, and students intrested . The effectiveness by looking at learning outcome and the diffrence between the scores of pretest and posttest achieved by the students. This research is design by instructional learning package design  based on  Dick  and Carey model , developing  design media based on ASSURE model and involved XI Science grade  at SMA Negeri 1 Batu Sopang. Data from the expert of media, content, design and  students intrested were obtained by using observation and test.The data was obtained analyzed by descriftif analyzes technic. The result of research show that the validity of learning material is valid category, implementation  is very good category . Aspect of the student response individual user is good, with 32,13 % very agree and 55,3 % agree at the real implementation. The students intrested on lerning model is good category. Learning achievment of cognitive, psychomotoric and sosial spiritual attitude  aspect than increasing critical thinking skill. N (gain scores) analyses showed that there are  average gain score increasing 0,8(high gain). This study thus showed that interactive multimedia base on inquiry developed feasible to improve learning outcome and practice students critical thinking skills Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan kelayakan  multimedia interaktif berbasis inkuiri materi sistem reproduksi manusia untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar dan melatih keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa SMA. Kelayakan perangkat diukur dari  validitas, kepraktisan dan efektivitas. Validitas perangkat dilihat dari penilaian ahli media dan ahli materi. Kepraktisan perangkat dilihat dari keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, respon dan minat siswa. Efektivitas perangkat dilihat dari hasil belajar siswa serta perbedaan antara skor pretest dan posttest yang dicapai siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain  pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran dengan  mengadaptasi  model Dick and Carey, desain pengembangan media menggunakan model ASSURE dan melibatkan para siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Batu Sopang sebagai sampel pengujian. Data uji ahli media, isi,  desain,  dan respon siswa  dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan angket,  sedangkan  uji coba  kepada siswa diperoleh dengan menggunakan lembar observasi dan tes. Data yang didapatkan selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa validitas perangkat pembelajaran berkategori  valid,  keterlaksanaannya berkategori  terlaksana dengan  baik. Ditinjau dari aspek  tanggapan siswa pengguna, media  hasil pengembangan berkategori baik, dengan persentase 32,3 % sangat setuju dan 55,3 % setuju  pada implementasi di  lapangan. Minat siswa pada model pembelajaran yang diterapkan berkategori baik Ketuntasan hasil belajar kognitif, psikomotor dan sikap spiritual sosial tercapai, serta peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis. Analisa N(Gain Scores)  menunjukkan bahwa  terdapat peningkatan gain skor rata-rata 0,8 (kategori tinggi). Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa multimedia interaktif berbasis inkuiri yang dikembangkan layak digunakan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar dan melatih keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berhasil mengetahui kualitas (pH, TDS, dan konduktivitas) air buangan AC yang terdapat di jurusan kimia UNESA sebelum dan setelah melewati kolom yang berisi Resin Penukar Kation (RPK) dan Resin Penukar Anion (RPA). Resin yang digunakan adalah resin amberlite tipe IR 120 (bentuk-Na) dan resin amberlite tipe IR 402 (bentuk-Cl). Air buangan AC sebelum melewati resin mempunyai konduktivitas 3.96 x 10-5 S, pH 7.73, dan TDS 1.28 ppm. Berdasarkan konduktivitas dan TDS, kualitas air buangan AC setelah melewati kolom berisi resin lebih bagus dari pada air buangan AC sebelum melewati resin. Air buangan AC setelah melewati berbagai resin mempunya konduktivitas 4.4 x 10-6 S - 2.5 x 10-5 S dan TDS 0.1 ppm ? 0.5 ppm. Air buangan AC yang kualitas pHnya lebih bagus dari akuades adalah air buangan AC yang telah melewati kolom berisi RPK (dengan pH antara 7.44 -7.62) dan air AC yang melewati kolom berisi RPA lalu melewati kolom berisi RPK (dengan pH antara 7.44 -7.69). Air buangan AC yang telah melewati resin memiliki kualitas akuades pada kriteria pH saja, sedangkan kriteria yang lain (TDS dan konduktivitas) belum memenuhi kualitas akuades.

Abstract

Metacognition skills such as procedural knowledge, declarative knowledge, conditional knowledge, planning, monitoring, and evaluating are needed to understand problem-solving skills such as controlling and self-evaluation, planning and application, plan analysis, and understanding the problem. This study aims to describe problem-solving skills and student cognition in solving problems in physics subjects of XI IPA students in SMA Negeri 8 Samarinda. The population of the study sample amounted to 116 students grouped based on the results of physics achievement tests as many as 40 questions, divided into three groups, namely: groups of 32 students (28%), middle groups 61 students (53%), and groups under 23 students (20%). The research method used is a descriptive approach to the form of research in the form of case studies. Indicators of problem-solving skills, consisting of understanding the problem, analysis of the problem, planning, application of the plan, controlling & self-evaluation (UAPAC + SE). While metacognition uses the indicator of the Metacognitive Awareness Inventory (MAI). Based on data analysis, it can be concluded that the average problem-solving skills of upper group students (68%) are the high category, middle group students (34%), and lower group students (33%) are low categories. While the average metacognition skills are upper group students (66%) in the high category, middle group students (36%), and lower group students (33%) in the low category.

Abstract

Abstract. The initial research showed that in general, the problem solving skills and students’ metacognition in several secondary high schools in Samarinda such as SMAN 8, Kunjang, SMAN 14 Loa Bakung, SMAN 3 Ulu, and SMAN 10  Seberang are still low.  Therefore, the researcher intend to develop physics metacognition learning model to improve problem solving skills and students’ metacognition. This study aims to develop physics metacognition learning model to increase problem solving skills and students’ metacognition. The data collection method used Focus Group Discussion (FGD. The validity of the model was evaluated based on content and construct validity. Validation result by expert showed that physics metacognition learning model and the learning devices can be categorized as valid. The physics metacognition learning model can be implemented in physics to increase problem solving skill and students’ metacognition.  Keywords: content validity, construct validity, physics metacognition learning model Abstrak. Hasil studi awal menunjukkan bahwa secara umum, keterampilan pemecahan masalah dan metakognisi siswa SMA Negeri 8 Sungai Kunjang Samarinda, SMA Negeri 14 Loa Bakung, SMA Negeri 3 Samarinda Ulu, dan SMA Negeri 10 Samarinda Seberang masih rendah. Oleh karena itu peneliti bermaksud mengembangkan model physics metacognition learning. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan model physics metacognition learning untuk meningkatkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah dan metakognisi siswa. Metode pengumpulan data validasi menggunakan Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Validitas model pembelajaran physics metacognition learning dinilai berdasarkan validitas isi dan validitas konstruk. Hasil validasi oleh pakar melalui FGD menunjukkan bahwa model physics metacognition learning dan perangkatnya untuk meningkatkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah dan metakognisi siswa dalam penelitian ini termasuk dalam kategori valid. Model physics metacognition learning dapat diimplementasikan dalam pembelajaran fisika  untuk meningkatkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah, dan metakognisi siswa. Kata Kunci: Validitas isi, validitas konstruk, dan model physics metacognition learning

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the effectiveness of learning materials on shape of the molecule with the real modeling supported by PhET media-based on guided discovery to facilitate the students? high-order-thinking skills at odd semester XI class of SMAN 10. This research is developmental research using 4D models. Thetest of the learning materials use one group pretest-posttest design. The results of validity syllabus (3.87), lesson plans (3.71), students? book (3.35), work sheet (3.63), and test of products (3.58) are categorized very good and reliability syllabus (99%), lesson plans (100%), students? book (89%), work sheet (100%), and test of products (100%) are categorized reliable. The Achievement test of higher-order thinking skills showed that the individuals completeness an average score of 82.79, the average sensitivity of items was 0.74 and the average individual gain score of 0.82. Students' response to the learning and teaching activities in average were well-categorized. Based on the findings of the study, it can be concluded that the shape of molecule with the real modeling supported by PhET media based on guided discovery?was effective to train the students' higher-order thinking skills.Penelitian ini bertujuan untukmendeskripsikan efektivitas perangkat pembelajaran bentuk molekul dengan pemodelan real ditunjang media PhET berbasis penemuan terbimbinguntuk melatihkan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa kelas XI semester ganjil SMAN 10 Samarinda pada materi bentuk molekul.Perangkat pembelajaran yang digunakan dikembangkan dengan model 4D. Perangkatpembelajaran di uji cobakan menggunakan one group pretest-posttest design. Validitas Silabus (3,87), RPP (3,71), BAS (3,35), LKS (3,63), dan LP Produk (3,58) berkategori sangat baik dan reliabilitas Silabus (99%), RPP (100%), BAS (89), LKS (100%), LP Produk (100%) berkategori reliabel. Tes hasil belajar keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi menunjukkan ketuntasan individual rata-rata 82,79, sensitivitas butir soal rata-rata 0,74 dan gain score individual rata-rata 0,82. Respon siswa terhadap perangkat pembelajaran dan kegiatan pembelajaran rata-rata baik.Berdasarkan temuan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran bentuk molekul dengan pemodelan real ditunjang media PhET berbasis model penemuan terbimbingefektif untuk melatihkan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa.

Abstract

The background of this research is the circulation cosmetic with mercury that occur today in society. The problem of the research is that occur histochemical?s damage liver and kidney after exposure to mercury, and is that nanogold can recovery that damage. The pre-clinical study needed 24 mice (Mus muscullus) were divided into 6 groups, the control is A group, B group was exposed to mercury, Groups C, D, E and F after being exposed to mercury, than recovery by nanogold with concentration each of 5, 10, 15 and 20 ppm. Exposure was performed 1 week and 4 weeks of recovery. Necropsy of mice doing after treatment, liver and kidneys are processed into preparations by blocking with paraffin embedding method. Histochemical staining of liver and kidney tissue with Hematoxylin eosin (HE) to determine changes of cell constituent and staining Van Geyson to determine the structure of collagen constituent. Statistics Manova showed different results between treatment groups. Tissue damage, lysis cell and destruction of collagen can be observed from histochemical techniques for mercury-exposed group compared to the control group. Tissue and collagen recovery process can be observed from group C, D, E and F. The conclusion that the effects of mercury one week exposed through skin give effect to collagen tissue damage at liver and kidneys of mice. 20 ppm of Nanogold can recovery damaged cells and collagen tissue from the liver and kidneys of mice after four weeks of recovery.

Abstract

This research is the development of the design of the learning materials used a model of Dick and Carey and tested in class VIII SMP Negeri 2 Dlanggu even semester in academic year of 2015/2016. Learning takes place by applying the based of guided inquiry learning materials. The research subjectives are learning materials. The data collections used validation, observation, test, and questionnaires methods. The results showed that: (1) a valid learning materials developed; (2) the learning process took place well; (3) the students were more active in learning; (4) the learning achievement of students has increased by a score of N-gain high category; (5) the students responded positively towards learning. Based on the above results, it can be concluded that the guided inquiry learning based materials that have been developed feasible used to improve student learning achievement. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran IPA yang layak untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa sekolah menengah pertama. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan desain perangkat pembelajaran menggunakan model Dick and Carey dan diujicobakan di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Dlanggu tahun ajaran 2015/2016.  Pembelajaran dilakukan dengan cara menerapkan perangkat pembelajaran IPA berbasis inkuiri terbimbing. Sasaran penelitian adalah perangkat pembelajaran. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode validasi, observasi, tes dan angket. Hasil analisis data penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan valid; (2) pembelajaran terlaksana dengan kategori sangat baik; (3) hasil belajar siswa  mengalami peningkatan dengan skor N-gain berkategori tinggi; (4) Siswa memberikan respon positif terhadap pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran berbasis inkuiri terbimbing yang telah dikembangkan layak digunakan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Bioconversion of organic waste into biogas has been studied using a variation of effective micro-organisms starter, EM4. Optimum bioconversion resulted in the addition of EM4 9% to produce biogas as much as 328.17 ml. Biogas at optimum bioconversion conditions had the composition of methane gas 61.97% and 36.04% carbon dioxide.
