Abstract

Permasalahan pendidikan yang terjadi melalui pembelajaran jarak jauh sangat berdampak bagi orang tua dan perkembangan anak, khususnya anak usia dini. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui hubungan komunikasi interpersonal antara orang tua dan anak dengan motivasi belajar dan prestasi akademik siswa pada pembelajaran jarak jauh Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) di Sekolah Arvardia Bandung. Populasi dari penelitian ini terdiri dari 60 orangtua siswa. Teknik sampling yang digunakan yaitu probability sampling, berupa simple random sampling dengan ukuran sampel sebanyak 30 orang tua siswa PAUD Sekolah Arvardia Bandung. Peneliti melakukan pengumpulan data kepada anggota sampel yang telah ditetapkan (responden) menggunakan instrumen penelitian berupa angket atau kuesioner, dilakukan secara online menggunakan google form yang disebarkan melalui bantuan aplikasi whatsapp. Analisis data statistik yang digunakan adalah analisis korelasi sesuai dengan jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kuantitatif korelasional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara komunikasi interpersonal antara orang tua dan anak dengan motivasi belajar siswa pada pembelajaran jarak jauh Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) di Sekolah Arvardia Bandung, terdapat hubungan antara komunikasi interpersonal antara orang tua dan anak dengan prestasi akademik siswa pada pembelajaran jarak jauh Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) di Sekolah Arvardia Bandung, serta terdapat hubungan komunikasi interpersonal antara orang tua dan anak dengan motivasi belajar dan prestasi akademik pada pembelajaran jarak jauh Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) di Sekolah Arvardia Bandung.

Abstract

The development of children's potential in Early Childhood Education (PAUD) in the era of globalization is currently facing big challenges. In especial, the challenge of the entry of global culture or foreign culture into Indonesia that is not in accordance with the value system and culture of the Indonesian nation which carries full value, norms, customary ethics and local culture as well as other values and principles, This causes an impact on Indonesian education and culture and is feared that it will erode and threaten the existence of Sundanese culture as a local cultural part of the Indonesian nation's culture, in order to always exist and be strong, we need a way to maintain it. One of the solution is by synergize and integrating Sundanese culture in early childhood education, which is considered the Golden Age, a phase that determines the future of children. is through Sundanese culture in the form of Sundanese cultural philosophies or values and pupuh, is hoped that in addition to being able to be a way to conserve the local wisdom of Sundanese culture and as a filter from the negative impact of foreign cultures, it can also develop the potential of early childhood. other than that the opinion of experts also shows that the values and philosophies contained in Sundanese culture are in accordance with the principles of the national educational goals.

Abstract

Kampung Giri Harja or known as Jelekong village is an art and painting village located in Jelekong Village, Bale Endah District, Bandung Regency. This village was founded by Asep Sunandar Sunarya. Previously, Jelekong Village could be said to be an unknown village, but when Abah Asep Sunandar lived in this village, everything changed. Jelekong village changed its name to Giri Harja Endah Village, then it was known as an art village located in southern Bandung. Because the village of Giri Harja Endah is known as the village of art and painting, many of people are engaged in the arts, especially in the field of wayang golek and in the field of painting. Many residents of Giri Harja Endah are puppeteers and painters and on every street in the village Giri Harja Endah many shops selling paintings and puppets. The problems that have been identified are discussed together by the PKM team (community activity program). In order to be able to provide the best solution, the problem is how the current content creators become qualified so they can help in improving digital media literacy. In this PKM activity, the team will carry out activities based on several methods. The expected output target in this activity is to attract digital media literacy with quality creative content. The approach method used to overcome the problems faced by partners is through socialization, training or counseling and consultation activities. Then an active participatory approach was also carried out between the proposer team and partners on an ongoing basis and played an active role in providing assistance and guidance in the creation of digital creative content.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research was motivated by the emergence of anxiety from parents regarding their children's learning achievements, in connection with the necessity to study at home or referred to as School From Home (SFH) due to the covid-19 pandemic. This practically makes school activities must be carried out at home. Education is one of the sectors affected, problems that arise include children who are used to attending lessons at school, as well as socializing with friends and the school environment, now suddenly have to change and change by doing all activities at home with their parents. So far, SFH activities have not been considered effective, considering that there is no mature readiness for parents and children to interact in learning activities like in schools in general, so that learning does not run optimally. The purpose of this study was to obtain data and analyze how much influence parental interpersonal communication has on children's learning achievement during the School From Home (SFH) period of the covid-19 pandemic. The research method used is survey research, with the aim of looking at the effect of the independent variable (variable x) on the dependent variable (variable y), namely parental interpersonal communication on children's learning achievement. Data analysis uses a quantitative approach, through path analysis testing. The results showed that there was a significant influence of Parent and Child Interpersonal Communication on Children's Learning Achievement during the School From Home (SFH) Period of the Covid-19 Pandemic.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has had an extraordinary impact on business continuity, including Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The majority of MSMEs have been negatively affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. The digitization of MSMEs is an effort to change from conventional to digital systems as an effort to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of MSME business and operational processes. The digitization of MSMEs has made MSME business actors change their business management from conventional to modern practices. However, there are still many people who do not understand that the use of digital media is an obstacle for various aspects, one of which is MSME actors in Jalan Cagak District, Subang Regency. The opportunity to be able to introduce MSME products is very open with digital media. This should be able to help and boost the economy of MSMEs in Jalan Cagak District, Subang Regency, by taking advantage of various opportunities as creative content industry players.The problems that have been identified are the things that are discussed together by the PKM team (community activity program), in order to be given the best solution, the problem is how the current content creators become qualified so that they can help in efforts to increase digital media literacy. In this PKM activity, the team will carry out activities based onseveral methods. The expected output target in this activity is so that digital media literacy can be in demand with quality creative content.The approach method used to overcome problems faced by partners is through outreach, training or counseling and consulting activities. Abstract

Era digital saat ini membuat hampir seluruh aktivitas sudah dilakukan secara digital. Salah satu aktivitasnya adalah memasarkan dan menjualnya secara digital (online). Dengan memanfaatkan aplikasi e-commerce bisa membantu dan mendongkrak perekonomian pada pelaku UMKM di Kampung Lukis Jelekong Kab. Bandung, Permasalahan yang telah teridentifikasi, menjadi hal yang didiskusikan bersama oleh tim PKM (Program Kegiatan Masyarakat), dengan memberikan solusi yakni bagaimana e-commerce yang ada saat ini dipahami oleh para pelukis dan menjadi bermanfaat agar dapat membantu dalam upaya mempermudah dan meningkatkan penjualan serta memperluas pasar. Metode pendekatan yang digunakan untuk mengatasi persoalan yang dihadapi mitra adalah melalui kegiatan sosialisasi, pelatihan atau penyuluhan dan konsultasi. Kemudian dilakukan pula pendekatan partisipatif aktif yang dilakukan antara tim pengusul dengan mitra secara berkelanjutan dan berperan aktif untuk melakukan pendampingan dan pembinaan dalam pembukaan toko di salah satu aplikasi e-commerce.

Abstract

Di era digital ini, hadir berbagai macam e-commerce, salah satunya adalah Shopee. Diluncurkan pertama kali pada tahun 2015 dan hadir sebagai sebuah ecommerce yang menyediakan pengalaman berbelanja online yang mudah, menjadikan Shopee sebuah pilihan bagi para pelanggan, khususnya para remaja yang ingin berbelanja kapan saja dan dimana saja. Promo yang ditawarkan oleh Shopee juga tergolong menggiurkan bagi yang ingin membeli barang atau jasa melalui Shopee. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui, mendapatkan data serta menganalisis seberapa besar pengaruh promo Shopee terhadap minat beli Mahasiswa Ilmu Komunikasi FISIP Unpas. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei guna mengetahui pengaruh variabel bebas atau variabel independen (variabel x), yaitu Promo terhadap variabel terikat atau variabel dependen (variabel y) yaitu Minat Beli Mahasiswa Ilmu Komunikasi dengan menggunakan analisis regresi linear sederhana.

Abstract

The debate surrounding the 2024 General Election in the virtual space, such as social media, has led netizens to exchange hate speech and heavy criticism regarding their respective support. Two groups have emerged: government supporters highlighting the successes of President Joko Widodo and those shifting their support to Anies Baswedan after Prabowo joined the government. Over time, this phenomenon has led to the proliferation of hate speech based on identities such as religion, ethnicity, and fanatical groups, potentially dividing public opinion. This study aims to explain the emergence of hate speech and the forms of hate speech based on identity politics leading up to the 2024 General Election. This study employs virtual ethnographic analysis (Virtual Ethnography) to observe tweets or statuses on selected accounts and the comments that arise from those tweets. The objects of analysis are the trends of words and phrases and the content within observed sentences or paragraphs. The research findings have been presented in the form of tabulation and categorization. The results show that comments and statuses containing hate speech always create bidirectional and multi-directional communication models among users. Hate speech often uses phrases and keywords that lead to insults, malicious accusations, curses, and accusing the opposing party of being stupid and evil. Based on this study, social media users must realize that the presidential campaign is a time to have different choices but remain aware of the same nation. Users need to develop an awareness of social media ethics. Enforcing rules against those who spread hate speech is key for every actor involved.

Abstract

Communication is a crucial component in the business negotiation process. This study aims to analyze the influence of verbal and nonverbal communication on business negotiation outcomes, focusing on how much both types of communication contribute to negotiation success.This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey design. Data on verbal communication, nonverbal communication, and negotiation outcomes. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression to evaluate the effect of the independent variables (verbal and nonverbal communication) on the dependent variable (negotiation outcome).The results of the analysis show that both verbal and nonverbal communication have a significant influence on negotiation outcomes. Verbal communication has a regression coefficient of 0.50 (t = 5.00, p < 0.01), while nonverbal communication has a regression coefficient of 0.40 (t = 3.33, p < 0.01). The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.49 indicates that 49% of the variation in negotiation outcomes can be explained by these two variables. The F test yielded an F value of 46.56 (p < 0.01), indicating the overall significance of the model. The regression model used can explain 49% of the variation in negotiation outcomes, suggesting that these two types of communication should be considered to achieve successful negotiations. Other factors not included in this model also contribute to negotiation outcomes and could be the focus of further research.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of body language in building trust in first interactions among teenagers in Bandung City. Through an ethnomethodological approach, this study analyzes various nonverbal elements such as facial expressions, hand gestures, body posture, and proxemics that influence perceptions of trust. Data was collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and video analysis. The results show that body language plays a crucial role in establishing trust at the first interaction. A genuine smile and consistent eye contact are key indicators used by adolescents to assess trust. Open hand gestures and upright posture also contribute positively to perceptions of trust.Appropriate interpersonal distance helps create a sense of comfort and trust, while a warm tone of voice and a moderate pace of speech increase perceptions of sincerity. Local cultural norms and the influence of global trends affect the way adolescents use body language in their interactions. Gender differences were also found, with adolescent girls being more expressive in hand gestures and facial expressions, while adolescent boys relied more on body posture and tone of voice. The study concludes that understanding and effective use of body language is key in building trust in first interactions. Practical implications of the findings include developing nonverbal communication skills in adolescent education and increasing cultural awareness in social interactions.
