Abstract

AbstractThis research is to improve students' speaking ability by using class V demonstration method of State Elementary School 02 Betung River, Bengkayang Regency. The method used is descriptive method with class action research form. The study was conducted in three cycles and each cycle consisted of one meeting with a time allocation of 3 x 35 minutes. The results of the teacher's ability to plan lessons from cycle I with an average score of 3.48 to 3.70 in cycle II to 3.81 in cycle III and can be categorized very well. The result of teacher ability in conducting learning from the average value of cycle I 3.41 to 3.66 in cycle II, to 3.87 in cycle III and can be categorized very well. Improving students' speaking ability by using class V demonstration method is evidenced by the average achievement of students in the first cycle of 77.77, in the second cycle of 82.14 and in the third cycle of 84.52. Based on this data analysis, it can be concluded that the demonstration method can be used to improve the speaking ability of grade V students of Secondary School 02 Sungai Betung, Bengkayang Regency. Keywords: Speaking skills, Demonstration methods

Abstract

CV Prima Bangun Nusantara is a leather manufacturing company which is currently experiencing an increase in demand from consumers and is planning to build a new factory. Since types of product manufactured are varied and tend to fluctuate every 6 months, the layout should be designed flexible to anticipate the changes that may occur. The design begins by counting the number of machines based on the data of production lack provided by the company. The calculation of the number of machines by using a routing sheet is to determine the number of machines suitable for the new factory. After that is creating a relationship among the departments shown in ARD whichis then used to calculate the cost of material handling (CMH). The calculations show that the value of CMH for “by process” is Rp.948.505, while the fractal is Rp.905.413. The layout of the fractal generates smaller CMH value by a margin of 5% or as much as Rp.43.092. To better see the difference in the two layouts, a test is done by changing the data of product types and volume created (in accordance with the conditions of the company, in which the type and volume of products made may be changed every 6 months). The CMH value for “by process” layout is Rp.407.283 and for the fractal one is Rp.247.745. The fractal layout generates smaller CMH value with a difference as much as Rp.159.538 or 39%.

Abstract

The studied area is located in the low-land area of the northern part of Tondano Lake which is dominated by Quaternary lake and fluvial deposits. Based on the sub-surface data, the lithofacies distribution of the deposit can be divided into: (a) pyroclastic deposit, (b) repetition between channel sand lake and lake or swamp deposits and, (c) floodbasin and swamp deposits. The maximum development of the environmental deposition of Tondano Lake is indicated by formation of 1 up to 3 facies, while facies 4 which is situated above them was influenced by decrease of the lake environment. The increasing and decreasing of the lake environment in this area can not be traced continously. It shows a combination of spesific facies arrangement, such as: the lower part, indicated by volcanic activities which were deposited by water; the middle part, indicated by lake invironment; and the upper part, indicated by the end of a volcanic activity which was then followed by the development of a swamp environment and flood basin. Keywords: facies, eruption, climate, tectonics

Abstract

The Megatrust and Benioff subduction seismic sources of the Sulawesi Sea Micro Plate subducted at 100 km beneath of North Sulawesi's Arm have significant effect in radius of 150 km in this peninsula. The Deterministic Seismic Hazard Analysis-DSHA from megathrust seismic source zone using attenuation function model of Young et al (1997) to the Manado City result in 0.22 g, equal to VIII MMI. Abstract

AbstrakFilariasis atau penyakit kaki gajah adalah golongan penyakit menular yang disebabkan oleh cacing filaria  yang  ditularkan  melalui  berbagai  jenis  nyamuk.  Penyebaran  filariasis  hampir  meliputi  seluruh wilayah di Indonesia termasuk Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ulu (OKU) Timur. Angka kesakitan filarisis di Kabupaten OKU Timur tahun 2007 sebesar 1,05%. Kegiatan pengobatan massal di Kabupaten OKU Timur belum pernah dilakukan sampai saat ini, sehingga perlu dilakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat penyebaran penyakit filariasis. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survei dengan desain potong lintang. Pengambilan dan pemeriksaan sediaan darah jari dilakukan pada malam hari dimulai pukul 19.00 WIB. Jumlah penduduk yang diperiksa sebanyak 502. Hasil pemeriksaan diperoleh 4 orang positif mikrofilaria (Mf_ rate 0,8%) dengan spesies Brugia  malayi  dan  kepadatan  rata-rata  200mf/ml.  Seluruh  kasus  yang  ditemukan  merupakan  kasus baru. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penularan filariasis masih terjadi di Kabupaten OKU Timur sehingga perlu adanya pengobatan massal untuk mencegah penularan lebih lanjut.Kata kunci : Filariasis, Brugia malayi, Survei darah jari, OKU TimurAbstractFilariasis or elephantiasis is an infectious diseases caused by filarial worms that transmitted by various species of mosquitoes. Filariasis distributions almost covers all districts in Indonesia including East Ogan Komering Ulu (OKU). Filarisais morbidity in East OKU regency in 2007 was 1.05 %. Mass treatment in the district of East OKU have not been done yet, so it is necessary to do a research that aim to determine the prevalen of filariasis. This study is a cross-sectional survey design. Collection and examination of finger’s blood was done at night starting at 19:00. Number of people examined were 502. Examination results obtained 4 positive microfilariae (Mf_ rate 0.8 %) of Brugia malayi and the average density of 200/ml. All cases were new cases. These results indicate that the transmission of filariasis is still on going in the district of East OKU so mass treatment is needed to prevent further transmission.Keywords : Filariasis, Brugia malayi, Finger blood survey, East OKU

Abstract

AbstrakFilariasis merupakan penyakit yang tidak mudah menular. Filariasis adalah penyakit yang ditularkan oleh nyamuk sebagai vector. Jenis nyamuk yang dapat berperan sebagai vector filariasis dipengaruhi oleh jenis cacing penyebab filaria. Brugia spp. umumnya ditularkan oleh nyamuk Mansonia spp dan Anopheles spp. Vektor dan hewan zoonosis merupakan salah satu factor yang dapat perlu mendapat perhatian dalam pengendalian filariasis. Penelitian terhadap vector dan hewan zoonosis telah dilakukan di Kabupaten Muaro Jambi untuk mengidentifikasi bionomik vektor dan kemungkinan adanya hewan zoonosis yang berperan sebagai penular filariasis. Desain penelitian adalah observasi, yaitu dengan melakukan penangkapan nyamuk dan pemeriksaan darah terhadap kucing. Jumlah kucing yang diperiksa sebanyak 18 ekor. Kucing yang positif microfilaria sebanyak 1 ekor. Jumlah nyamuk Mansonia spp. tertangkap sebanyak 1,167 ekor yang terdiri dari 6 species. Spesies nyamuk tertangkap paling banyak adalah Mansonia uniformis sebanyak 1.010 ekor dengan angka kekerapan 1,0. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, maka diperlukan peran serta masyarakat untuk mengurangi kepadatan nyamuk dengan membersihkan genangan air dan mencegah gigitan nyamuk. Selain itu diperlukan juga penanganan terhadap hewan yang bertindak sebagai zoonosis dengan memberikan pengobatan terhadap kucing agar tidak menjadi sumber infeksi.Keywords : filariasis, Mansonia, vektor, zoonosis, Muaro Jambi.AbstractFilariasisis noteasily transmitted diseases. Brugia spp. are generally transmitted by Mansonia spp and Anopheles spp. Vector and zoonotic animal are the factors that can transmit filariasis and need to have attention for controlling filariasis. Research on vector and zoonotic had been done in Muaro Jambi to determine bionomic vector and the possibility of animals can transmit filariasis. The study design was observational survey, that cought mosquitoes and inspection activities zoonotic. Cats that examined were 18. Cat with positive microfilaria was 1 cat. Number of Mansonia spp. captured was 1,167 which consisted of 6 species consisting of 6 species. Mansonia uniformis was the largest species cought numbering 1.010 with 1.00 frequency rate with 1,010 mosquitoes that frequency rate of 1,00. Based on these results, it is necessery for community participation for mosquito control activities and further investigation to cats and cats carried on a positive treatment.Keywords : filariasis, Mansonia, vectors, zoonotic, Muaro Jambi.

Abstract

The morphologic condition of the Opak valley at Dadapan Village, Berbah area, indicates that the Opak River has three times shifted. Based on the passing compass land detail measurement, three paleo river valleys, can be recognized which are separated by terrace morphology. The result of carbon dating by using C14  method to the organic clay deposits which was taken from Opak valley 1, 2, 3, and existing river, shows the ages are 6950 years BP, 6800 years BP, 6430 years BP, and 6360 years BP. It proves that the tectonic in this area is very active, because during Upper Holosen (‹ 10,000 years) the Opak River has three times shifted. Keywords: paleo river channel, shifting, tectonic

Abstract

Indonesia has constructed marriage law based on Pancasila despite the variety of marriage practice in the society. The Law No 7 of 1974 on Marriage does not regulate the practice of marriage based on local culture.According to the Law, a marriage is valid as long as conducted in accordance with one‟s religion or belief system. Furthermore to be accepted as legal, a marriage should be registered in the Office of Civil Registration or Office of Religious Affairs.

Abstract

ISLAMIC   LAW   PERSPECTIVE   TO   THE   CIVIL BOOK OF LAW STATUTE ARTICLE 1467 ABOUT PROHIBITION OF SALE AND PURCHASE BETWEEN HUSBAND AND WIFE. Islamic law is regarded as an important part of  the religion teaching in Muslims’ point of view, and Islamic law is the main expression space of  religious experience and become determination of continuity and historical identity. In tune with the increasing awareness to return to the pure and original religion as well as the appearance of  desire to harmonize contemporary life with the provisions of  sharia, Islamic law in modern era received a lot of  attention from the supporting community itself  or from other communities that make it as an object of  study. The deeper knowledge a person about the essence of  his Muslim law, the greater the value of kindness and also the benefit that will be acquired. Therefore, this article is to answer the perspective of Islamic law on the book of  law statute (KUH) Civil Article 1467 on the prohibition of the sale and purchase between husband and wife. The Islamic scholars in his book described the discussions about the sale and purchase law which agreed to be allowed and forbidden, and there is also debatable about the prohibition law. Selaras dengan meningkatnya kesadaran untuk kembali kepada agama yang murni dan orisinal serta muncunnya keinginan untuk menyelaraskan kehidupan   kontemporer   dengan   ketentuan-ketentuan   syariah, hukum Islam di zaman modern mendapat banyak perhatian baik dari masyarakat pendukungnya sendiri maupun dari masyarakat lain yang menjadikannya sebagai suatu objek studi. Hukum Islam adalah hukum yang diturunkan Allah kepada manusia untuk menjamin terwujudnya kemaslahatan bagi manusia itu sendiri, baik didunia maupun di akhirat kelak. Semakin mendalam pengetahuan seseorang akan hakekat hukum Islam yang dianutnya, maka akan semakin  besar  pulalah  nilai  kebaikan  dan  kemaslahatan  yang akan didapatkannya. Oleh karena itu, tulisan ini adalah untuk menjawab perspektif  hukum Islam terhadap kitab undang-undang hukum  (KUH)  Perdata  pasal  1467  tentang  larangan  jual  beli antara suami istri. para ulama dalam kitabnya merinci pembahasan mengenai hukum jual beli yang sepakat diperbolehkan juga sepakat diharamkan, dan terdapat pula yang diikhtilafkan (diperdebatkan) mengenai hukum keharamannya. Di samping itu, terdapat pula jual beli yang memiliki bentuk dan situasi khusus yang diperbolehkan karena ada pengecualian dari dalil-dalil umum, juga karena adat kebiasaan (‘urf).kata kunci: Hukum Islam, KUH Perdata, Jual Beli Suami Istri.

Abstract

Informasi dan publikasi tentang teknik pembuatan baju rajut jadi tanpa jahitan (complete garment knitting)pada mesin rajut datar (V-bed machine) dimulai pada tahun 1995 di pameran ITMA. Teknologi ini telah menjadisuatu proses pembuatan baju yang inovatif saat ini, juga telah berkembang pada industri perajutan di Indonesia.Proses pembuatan kain rajut ini menyebabkan penghilangan proses pemotongan dan penjahitan yang lengkap, jugamemberikan beberapa keuntungan seperti penghematan biaya , waktu, dan peningkatan produktivitas, dankecepatan merespons perubahan baik produk maupun desain.Adapun maksud dan tujuan dari pengkajian ini khususnya adalah agar para produsen kain rajut dapatmemilih alternatif mesin mana yang akan digunakan dalam proses produksinya, dan umumnya adalah sebagaiinformasi bagi khalayak umum tentang teknologi perajutan dan desain yang menggunakan komputer penuh danterpadu. Pengkajian ini meliputi tiga perusahaan pembuat mesin tempat penulis berkesempatan mengikuti pelatihan,yaitu Shima Seiki (Jepang) , Universal (Jerman) dan Stoll (Jerman). Tulisan ini memaparkan aplikasi dankarakteristik baju rajut jadi (complete garment knitting) dalam berbagai variasi produk. Pengkajian ini jugadidasarkan atas studi literatur, dan uji coba pembuatan di pembuat mesinnya.Dari hasil pengkajian ini didapatkan gambaran tentang teknologi rajut baru yang ada pada mesin rajut datarwhole garment, pembuatan desainnya, dan beberapa karakteristik dari masing-masing mesin.
