Abstract

This study aims to determine the effects of the use of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) Model on the Students' Ability to analyze the content and language of drama reading at SMA Bina Guna Tanah Jawa Balimbing, Kec. Tanah Jawa, Simalungun Regency in 2020/2021. This research was conducted based on  5 classes with a total population of class , of 160 students. From the population, a sample of 32 students was assigned to one class, selected by cluster sampling, namely class XI IPA 1. The data collection technique was used to measure students’ learning outcomes in the form of assignment questions carried out on the pretest and posttest. The data analysis technique used is normality test using F test, homogeneity test and hypothesis testing using t test. The hypothesis in this study was tested by t-test at a significant level = 0.05. From the calculation of the data it was seen that  t-count t-table (10.3722000). Thus the null hypothesis is that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. From the results, it can be concluded that the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) Model can improve students’ learning outcomes in analyzing the content and language of drama.

Abstract

Background: This study aims to determine the relationship of excess working hours with the incidence of hypertension in PT. Astoria Build Mighty Batam. Methods: This research method uses quantitative types with observational analytic research designs and Cross Sectional approaches. The population of this research is all PT. Astoria Bangun Perkasa which amounts to 60 workers. The instruments used in data retrieval are the Sphygmomanometer, the stethoscope and company data. Results: The results of the univariate analysis showed that most workers experienced overtime hours of 17 people (34%) while workers who did not experience excess hours worked as many as 33 people (66%). Workers who experienced hypertension were 7 people (14%) while workers who did not have hypertension were 43 people (86%). The results of the bivariate analysis with the chi-square test showed that there was a significant relationship between excess work hours and hypertension.

Abstract

The damage to the immune system in people with HIV infection resulted in them being easily attacked by other diseases, especially the decrease in the quality of life of HIV-AIDS sufferers. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to know the relationship between compliance with antiretroviral use and family support in improving the quality of life of people with HIV-AIDS. For that, quantitative descriptive research with the population is the entire patient with HIV-AIDS. They undergo medical checkup at Budi Kemuliaan hospital-Batam aged between 20-35 years which amounted to 76 people and samples as many as 60 people selected using the Purposive sampling method. The results showed a significant link between compliance with the use of antiretroviral and quality of life and the relationship between the quality of life with the support of the family in HIV/AIDS patients at the Budi Kemuliaan hospital-Batam.

Abstract

Indonesia as a country with a high risk of disaster needs to prepare hospital health facilities with an optimal level of preparedness. This study aims to analyze the preparedness of the Sembiring Deli Tua General Hospital in dealing with disasters based on the 2nd edition of the Hospital Safety Index (HSI) instrument issued by WHO in 2015 in Indonesian language which is validated. This study uses a mixed method, which combines quantitative and qualitative methods to answer the research objectives. The key informants in this study were the Deputy Director of the Sembiring Deli Tua Hospital in the field of General Administration and Human Resources, and tough informants from a number of hospital employees who were related to the research topic. The research begins with an assessment of the preparedness of the Sembiring Deli Tua Hospital with the HSI instrument. The results of the assessment are analyzed based on Structural Elements, Non-Structural Elements, and Elements of Emergency and Disaster Management. Further analysis is carried out by verifying the results of the assessment with observational data, in-depth interviews, and reviewing documents to reveal things that are considered important to answer research problems.Based on the analysis of Structural Safety Elements with an HSI score of 1 including level A (ready to face disasters), Non-Safety Structural Elements with a score of 0.952 including level A (ready to face disasters), and Emergency and Disaster Management Elements with an HSI score of 0.763 including the level category A (ready to face disaster). Based on the analysis of these three elements, it was found that the Sembiring Deli Tua General Hospital had a total HSI score of 0.938, including the level A category (ready to face disasters).

Abstract

Intra Uterine Device post placenta is the installation in the first 10 minutes to 48 hours after the birth placenta plays a role in reducing maternal mortality through prevention of pregnancy, delaying pregnancy, and spacing pregnancies, the effectiveness of use up to 99.4% can prevent 5-10 years of pregnancy. This study aims to determine the factors associated with maternal willingness to post Post Placenta IUD. The study used a questionnaire with a population of third trimester pregnant women who examined their pregnancies and a sample of 98 people by purposive sampling. Analyze data with Chi Square. The results showed that the majority of pregnant women were not willing to do post placenta IUD installation of 58.2% which was influenced by age, parity, knowledge and support of the husband.

Abstract

Back Ground: Depression is a natural disturbance of feeling that is characterized by feelings of sadness, loss of interest and easily tired. Steroids are drugs that can reduce swelling, pain and heat due to inflammation through reducing the immune response. Steroids are often used in cases of systemic Lupus Erythematosus in the long term. Therefore management of the disease must be done well because steroids can cause depression. Case Report:Women, 37 years old, depressed mood, disappointment in life, loss of enthusiasm, fatigue, decreased appetite and difficulty sleeping for 1 year. 4 years ago I took steroids for 2 years at a dose of 20mg / day, because rheumatoid arthritis was stopped by os, and for the past 1 year, steroid consumption was due to Systemic Lupus Erythematosus around 60 mg / day. . Before the os consumes steroids, the OS has never experienced depression.BP: 110/70 mmHg , HR 88x/menit, RR 20x/menit, Temp 37°C. Skor BDI 21. Laboratorium Hb 11,8 g/dl, Leukosit 7500/mm3, trombosit 201.000/mm3,,Kalium 2,8, KGDad 99 mg/dlSGOT 29 ,SGPT32, Ureum 15,78 mg/dl, Creatinin 0,65 mg/dl. Tot Colesterol 198mg/dl, LDL 128 mg/dl, HDL 35 mg/dl Fototoraks : Jantung dan Parudalambatas normal, FotoLumbosakral : SpondilosisLumbalis. The patient is diagnosed with depression. Given psychotherapy, sandepril 2 x 25 mg for 3 months. Patients show clinical improvement marked by reduced sadness and can understand the disease. Conclusion :Steroid-induced depression has been reported after psychotherapy and sandepril 2 x 25 mg of the patient's condition showed improvement.

Abstract

Background: In adolescence, there is an increase in muscle mass and fat tissue. This change is related to nutritional status that can be assessed by measurement of Body Mass Index (BMI). At the age of adolescents, it begins to recognize the body shape or body image, the biggest problem that many adolescents are not satisfied with their body shape. Research method: This research type is observational analytic research with cross sectional approach, which was done on December 2017. The population of this research included students of class XII SMK Sentra Medika Medan, with number is 56 people. Sampling with total sampling technique, as many as 56 taken. Data obtained from measurement of IMT and questioner on respondent, then data were analyzed univarite and bivariate with computer using Chi Square Statistical Test. Results: The results showed that who had a thin IMT of 28.6%, normal BMI 37.5% and BMI weight 33.9% more. Students have a dissatisfied body image 44.6% while female students have a satisfied body image of 55.4%. The results of statistical tests show (P = 0.004) means there is a Body Mass Index Relation with Body Image on SMK Sentra Medika Medan students in 2018.Conclusion: From the research result it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between Body Mass Index (BMI) and Body Image on SMK Sentra Medika Medika Students Year 2018.

Abstract

The transition of disease in Indonesia is marked by increasing cases of non-communicable diseases that are hospitalized in several hospitals. Non-communicable diseases are often referred to as chronic diseases. Non-infectious diseases contribute to 60 percent of death globally. Prolanic is a program aimed at encouraging members of people with chronic diseases to achieve optimal quality of life. The purpose of this research is to explain the factors that influence the participation of Social Assurance Security Agency participants doing Prolanic gymnastics at Public Health Center of Martimbang Pematangsiantar City. Type of research is analytical with cross sectional study design at Public Health Center of Martimbang Pematangsiantar City. The population was all 361 BPJS participants with a sample of 80 people. There is influence of knowledge, motivation, attitude, distance to participant Social Assurance Security Agency doing Prolanic Gymnastics with p value 0,001. The most dominant factor influencing the participation of Social Assurance Security Agency prolanic gymnastics is the knowledge with the expected value B is 0.007. Social Assurance Security Agency Pematangsiantar city is expected to do socialization about prolanic gymnastics and further research. Abstract

The hospital is one of the health facilities where health efforts are carried out. Health efforts are every activity to maintain and improve health, aiming to realize optimal health degrees for the community. Pharmaceutical services as one element of the main services in hospitals, are an inseparable part of the service system in hospitals that are oriented to patient care, providing quality drugs, including affordable clinical pharmacy services for all levels of society. The practice of pharmacy services is an integrated activity, with the aim of identifying, preventing and solving problems related to drugs and health. Hospital pharmacy services are one of the activities in hospitals that support quality health services. This is explained in the Decree of the Minister of Health Number 1333/Menkes/SK/XII/1999 concerning Hospital Service Standards, which states that hospital pharmacy services are an inseparable part of the hospital health service system that is oriented to patient care, drug provision. quality, including clinical pharmacy services, which are affordable for all levels of society. Currently, pharmacists who work at the Granmed Lubuk Pakam Hospital are required to be able to provide patient-oriented clinical pharmacy services. The aim is to improve patient safety. Pharmacists are required to play a role in improving patient safety, especially for drug-related problems.

Abstract

Hospital quality management is aimed at improving the quality of health services and protecting patients and increasing satisfaction with the use of services in hospitals. In addition, quality management is also related to hospital accreditation which is part of the national hospital quality assurance system. 7 quality management principles developed in ISO 9001: 2015 which include: (1) Customer Focus; (2) Leadership; (3) Engagement of People Process; (4) Approach; (5) Improvements; (6) Evidence-Based Decision Making & (7) Relationship Management. It needs to be implemented and integrated into the hospital's internal quality assurance system as a form of strengthening the standards and criteria that are developed sustainably in the hospital.
