Abstract

ABSTRACT Andri Saputra , NPM : 09,090,003. Effects of Leadership Styles and Work Motivation on Employee Performances Statistics Agency (BPS) of Padang. Main supervisor : Rizky Natassia, SE , MM and Second Supervisor : Dina Amaluis , SE , MM.This study aims to reveal the influence of leadership style on employee motivation Central Statistics Agency ( BPS ) of Padang , the influence of leadership styles on employee performance Central Statistics Agency ( BPS ) of Padang , the influence of work motivation on employee performance Central Statistics Agency ( BPS ) Padang , the influence of leadership style and employee motivation Central Statistics Agency ( BPS ) of Padang.Type of research is descriptive research Associative. The population in this study was the overall employees of the Central Statistics Agency BPS ) Padang totaling 30 employees . Sampling technique using Total Sampling amounts 30 employees. Data were collected through a questionnaire using a Likert scale measuring devices that have been tested errors and reliability in the Central Bureau of Statistics ( BPS ) of West Sumatra Province . The data analysis technique used is the Path Analysis (Path Analysis).The results of this study are : there is a positive and significant effect between leadership styles on employee motivation Central Statistics Agency ( BPS ) Padang , there is a positive and significant effect between leadership styles on employee performance Central Statistics Agency ( BPS ) Padang , there positive and significant influence between work motivation on employee performance Central Statistics Agency ( BPS ) Padang , there is a positive and significant effect between leadership style and work motivation on employee performance Central Statistics Agency ( BPS ) of Padang . Total direct and indirect effects of leadership style variable and employee motivation is at 36 % while the remaining 64 % is influenced by other variables.From the analysis of the data in this study , the authors suggested that the leadership of the Central Statistics Agency ( BPS ) Padang further enhance and apply leadership style in order to better motivate employees who are owned by the Central Statistics Agency ( BPS ) Padang be increased as well . The author suggests that the leadership of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) Padang further enhance and apply leadership style as well as provide motivation to employees so that employee performance can be increased also for the progress of the organization. Abstract

This research was conducted based on the phenomena indicating that the teachers did not seem to have their students study in a group and were not likely to challenge them in the form of group competition. Therefore, the students were not willing to share what they have already learned with others and this condition made their understanding on mathematical concept became unsatisfactory. This could be seen from the learning achievement of the first year students of SMPN 4 Ranah Pesisir in math in Academic Year 2012/2013. This research was aimed at revealing the use of Learning Tournament active learning strategy gave better effect on the students’ understanding on mathematical concept than that of conventional learning strategy in class VIII of SMPN 4 Ranah Pesisir in Academic Year 2013/2014. This was an experimental research which used random research design toward the subject. The population of the research was all of students in class VIII of SMPN 4 Ranah Pesisir in Academic Year 2013/2014 which was divided into two classes. By using random sampling technique, class VIII2 was chosen as the experimental class and class VIII1 was as the control class. The instrument of the research was an essay post-test whose reliability was 0.83. The result of data analysis showed that p-value < α, thus the hypothesis was accepted. In conclusion, the use of Learning Tournament active learning strategy improved the students’ understanding on mathematical concept better than that of conventional learning strategy.

Abstract

Sebuah perusaahan biasanya terkait dengan data-data penting yang sifatnya rahasia yang perlu pengamanan data, permasalahan yang sering terjadi saat ini adalah pencurian data penting  serta mengalami kebocoran data yang dilakukan oleh pihak-pihak yang tidak bertanggung jawab, atau mengambil data tanpa seizin pemiliknya. Hal ini sering terjadi pada perusahaan-perusahaan dimana terdapat data-data rahasia perusahaan yang perlu pengamanan data sehingga tidak disalah gunakan. Dari permasalahan tersebut dibuat sebuah sistem enkripsi dan dekripsi file menggunakan Algoritma Blowfish dalam  mengamankan data atau informasi yang berupa file dengan mengenkripsi plaintext file menjadi sebuah ciphertext file, sehingga tidak dapat dibaca atau dimengerti oleh orang lain, serta data tersebut tidak dapat disalah gunakan dan dimanipulasi. Aplikasi ini dapat berfungsi seperti tujuan, yaitu untuk mengamankan data atau informasi yang berupa file dengan mengenkripsi plaintext file menjadi ciphertext file, begitu juga sebaliknya.

Abstract

This paper presents an attempt to design and make a rogowski coil together with its signal conditioning circuit for alternating current measurement. The induced voltage between rogowski coil ends is connected to active integrator circuit to yield voltage signal that is linear corresponding with the measured current. The output of integrator circuit is amplified its level before rectified using precision rectifier circuit. The output of precision rectifier is filtered using capacitor before connected to analog input port of ATMEGA8535 microcontroller. Microcontroller performs data acquisition of the signal, processes it and sends information of the rms value of the measured current to an LCD display. A test with 0.5 class moving-iron type amperemeter as a comparison shows that for measurement of alternating current from 0 to 5 amperes, the maximum value of error measurement is 2.5%.Keywords: rogowski coil, active integrator, precision rectifier, ATMEGA8535 microcontroller

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan multimedia pembelajaran pengenalan huruf hijaiyah. Pengenalan huruf Hijaiyah pada anak-anak usia dini sangatlah penting, karena mengenal huruf hijaiyah adalah dasar untuk mepelajari cara membaca Al-Qur’an dengan baik dan benar. dengan multimedia pembelajaran diharapkan dapat meningkatkan minat belajar pada anak-anak. Metode yang digunakan pada pengembangan multimedia pembelajaran pengenalan huruf hijaiyah adalah metode 4-D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). Pendifinisan masalah menggunakan survey lapangan dan mempelajari buku iqro, proses desain menggunakan Adobe Fotoshop CS6. Pada proses pengembangan dilakukan penggabungan materi berupa teks, gambar, audio, dan animasi dengan menggunakan adobe flash cs 6 dan dilanjutkan uji coba menggunakan metode Alpha dan Beta test. Hasil penelitian ini adalah DVD multimedia pembelajaran pengenalan huruf hijaiyah yang siap digunakan. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi pada saat penyebaran multimedia pembelajaran pengenalan huruf hijaiyah dapat disimpulkan bahwa multimedia ini sangat membantu guru-guru taman pendidikan Al-Qur’an dan anak didiknya serta anak-anak yang ingin mengenal huruf hijaiyah. .

Abstract

This research aims to develop multimedia learning in computer graphics courses. The development method used is ADDIE (Analysis Design Develop Implementation Evaluate) which is a method usually used for the development of multimedia learning. The process of analysis is done by looking and studying the process of teaching and learning that runs during this, at the design stage used Adobe Photoshop software. In the process of developing the author using Adobe Flash CS6 for display, writing and animation, as well as Visual camtasia video creation. After the development process is complete, the implementation stages are tested using white box and black box test method. In evaluation prooses involving multimedia experts and students who have followed or are following the course of Computer Graph. Based on the results of experiments and evaluations can be concluded that multimedia learning Graphics Data meet the criteria very well include operational aspects and teaching materials and can be used to help students and lecturers on teaching and learning process, and can be used by students to learn independently.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkanPengaruh Gaya Kepemimpinan Dan Motivasi Kerja Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan Badan Pusat Statistik (Bps) Kota Padang Data dikumpulkan melalui kuisioner dengan menggunakan alat ukur skala likert yang telah diuji kesalahan dan kehandalannya di Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Provinsi Sumatera Barat. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah Analisis Jalur (Path Analisis).Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah: terdapat Pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara gaya kepemimpinan terhadap motivasi kerja karyawan Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Kota Padang, terdapat Pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara gaya kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja karyawan Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Kota Padang, terdapat Pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Kota Padang, terdapat Pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara gaya kepemimpinan dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Kota Padang. Total pengaruh langsung dan tidak langsung variabel gaya kepemimpinan da motivasi kerja karyawan adalah sebesar 36% sedangkan sisanya sebesar 64% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain.Dari hasil analisis data pada penelitian ini maka penulis menyarankan agar pimpinan  Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Kota Padang lebih meningkatkan dan menerapkan gaya kepemimpinannya dengan lebih baik lagi agar motivasi yang dimiliki oleh karyawan Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Kota Padang lebih meningkat pula.

Abstract

Abstract: Based on the results of observations that have been carried out on extracurricular students at SMA Negeri 1 Benai, problems have been found related to the leg muscle power of long jump extracurricular students. This research was conducted in the field of SMA Negeri 1 Benai, Jalan Perintis No.5 Benai, Benai District. The design of this research is pre-test post-test one group design that begins with pre-test Standing Broad Jump. In accordance with the problem to be examined, the population of this study is the extracurricular students of SMA Negeri 1 Benai, amounting to 12 people. This study uses a total sampling technique (saturated sample), in which the entire population is sampled. Based on the analysis of the t test yielded tcount of 10.88 and then compared with ttable at a significance level of 95% and df = 12-1 = 11 and ttable of 1.796 Means tcount> ttable. Furthermore, in statistical data analysis there is an average pree-test of 227.83 and an average post-test of 231.75. This means that the Double Leg Box Bound Exercise affects the Explosion Power of Leg Muscles in the Male Long Jump Extracurricular Extracurricular at SMA Negeri 1 Benai with an average difference of 3.92. Based on the findings and data processing, it can be concluded as follows: There is a significant effect of the Double Leg Box Bound (X) Exercise on the Leg Muscle Explosion Power (Y) in the Men's Long Jump Extracurricular at SMA Negeri 1 Benai.Key Words: Double Leg Bound Box, Leg Muscle Explosive Power

Abstract

This study aims to investigate types of cohesive devices frequently used in writing argumentative essays by high-achieving college students in Indonesia and to analyse their awareness of usage of these. Participants were asked to write an essay on a pre-determined topic; analysis was then conducted to investigate the most frequent cohesive devices used. Data on the second study question, understanding of the usage of cohesive devices, were gathered though semi-structured interviews. The data indicate that students effectively used various types of grammatical cohesive devices, particularly reference devices. However, some claimed not to know that they were using other cohesive devices. They believed that conjunctions were the only type that functions to connect ideas across sentences and paragraphs, and did not realise that this, that, the, and other reference devices are cohesive devices. In terms of the use of lexical cohesive devices, participants used synonyms more than other sub-types of lexical cohesive devices. The most frequently used device was the, which functions both as a cohesive device and an article. All participants agreed that though links or cohesive devices are necessary to achieve coherence, two claimed that these are not determining factors in producing good writing quality. They argued that high-quality writing needs to contain linguistic features related to sophisticated language and text difficulty. The first suggestion is that focused programs should be adopted to teach the writing of argumentative essays to help lower-achieving students attain the same writing level as high-achieving students. Second, a teaching programme integrating the use of sophisticated grammar, lexical diversity and cohesive devices should be a curriculum priority.
