Abstract

Utilization of local resources to support livestock production in the research location includes rodent tuber leaves found in many areas palm plantations, which have good nutritional content, but have high crude fiber. This study aims to find out the effect of Rodent Tuber Leaf Flour on rations during peking duck growth. The research method used an experimental method with completely randomized design (CRD) consist of 4 treatments and 5 replications, where treatment P1 = control ration feed, P2 = treatment feed with 5% rodent tuber leaves, P3 = treatment feed with 10% leaves rodent tuber and P4 = treated feed with 15% rodent tuber leaves, parameters count was feed consumption, body weight gain and feed conversion. The results showed significant effect results on ration consumption, the results of body weight gain showed significant effect results and in feed conversion showed significant effect results. The conclusion is the addition of rodent tuber leaf flour to the rations of Peking ducks at the level of 10% in the ration increases ration consumption and body weight gain, and increases the efficiency of ration conversion.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of plant hormones on property in raising broiler chickens (Gallus domesticus) and to determine the cost efficiency in the use of different plant hormones for broiler chicken This study used a non-factorial Complete Randomized Design (RAL) with 5 treatments and 4 repeats. The treatments tested were: Ho (control) without hormones, H1 (Neobro), H2 (banana weevil), H3 (bean sprouts), and H4 (sweet potato shoots). Hormone testing is taken from plants by adding EM4 bioactivators and differentiated sugar drops (molasses) for 1 week except for hormones from bean sprouts. The parameters observed are production cost, total revenue, profit/loss analysis, R/C ratio analysis, and Income Over Feed Cost (IOFC). From the results of research that has been done, it is obtained that the use of hormones from several plant hormones

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh perendaman daging domba dengan bunga kecombrang terhadap kualitas organoleptik dengan konsentrasi yang berbeda-beda.Penelitian ini mengunakan metode experimental dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) pola non faktorial dengan 4 perlakuan 5 ulangan yaitu P0 = 10gram daging domba(tanpa perlakuan),P1 = 10gram daging domba+100ml air+100gram bunga kecombrang, P2= 10gram daging domba+100ml air+200gram bunga kecombrang,dan P3= 10gram daging domba+100ml air+300gram bunga kecombrang.Penelitian ini diamati oleh 20 orang panelis terlatih dan semi terlatih.Parameter yang diamati yaitu warna,aroma,tekstur dan keempukan daging domba.Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa perendaman daging domba dengan menggunakan jus bunga tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap nilai Ph dan Organoleptik (P> 0.05).

Abstract

: The study aims to determine theeffect of sheep urine manure on tht Pennisetum purpureum cv. Mott grass after the first defoliation. The data analysis method used in this research is a Urine Manure Design (UMD) Non-Factorial consisting of 4 treatments and 5 replications, namely P0 (Without Urine application), P1 (Urine manure application every 2 days), P2 (Urine manure application every 3 days), and P3 (Urine manure application every 5 days). The parameters observed in this study are the number of tillers, plant height, and fresh material production. The results of the study show that treatment P1 is the best treatment in terms of fresh material production, plant height, and number of tillers of Pennisetum purpureum cv. Mott grass with Urine manure application after the first defoliation, with the number of tillers of Pennisetum purpureum cv. Mott grass being 4.88/polybag, plant height being 65.40 cm/polibag, and fresh material production being 216.84 grams/polybag

Abstract

The presence and existence of consuming beef in Indonesia is currently one of the benchmarks where beef is one of the basic needs that is much popular in society. In this research the analysis used is descriptive analysis. This qualitative analysis is used to discuss and explain the results of research on various symptoms which can be described in systematically arranged sentences. The income of beef traders at the Tavip traditional market and Kebun lada is IDR 50,240,000/day with an average of IDR 4,187,000/ day. Analysis of Return on Investment for beef traders at Tavip Market and Kebun Lada Market, namely the profit earned by traders is IDR 44,400,000 because the initial capital for selling meat is IDR 130,000/kg while the purchase price of raw materials is IDR. 90,000 and the total sales of all beef traders are 1110 kg/day. The total Return on Investment is 52% and the calculation of the business efficiency analysis of beef traders at Tavip Market and Binjai Lada Garden Market is by dividing total profit and revenue by total costs to obtain a calculation of IDR. 151,900,000: IDR 101,660,000 with the result obtained being 1.49 so that the R/C ratio is > 1, then the beef trading business is efficient and profitable.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was (1) to analyze the channel of broiler trading system in Rantau utara Distrct, (2) to analyze the amount of  share margin of the institution of broiler trading system in Rantau Utara District, and (3) to analyze the efficiency of broiler trading system in Rantau Utara District. There are 4 marketing channels for chickens, consisting of the first marketing channel where there are breeders and consumers, where consumers buy chickens directly from the breeders, in the second channel there is a chain of marketing channels where there are breeders, retailers and consumers and in the third channel there is the marketing channel. which involves collector farmers and consumers in channel IV involving retailer collector farmers and consumers, There are differences in margins for each marketing channel for broiler chickens in the 4 marketing channels, There are efficient chicken marketing channels in every marketing channel in North Rantau District with values below 30% considered efficient, in channel II %, in marketing channel III % and marketing channel IV %, The farmer's share value in the chicken marketing channel in Rantau Utara District reaches an efficient figure with a value of >40% considered efficient, in marketing channel II the farmer's share value is 78.9%, in marketing channel III 73.6% and in marketing channel IV 70%.
