Abstract

Desa tangguh bencana (Destana) is a program aimed to make a village community prepared for and resilient to disasters. The Destana program was initiated by the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) decreed by the Regulation of the head of BNPB No. 1/2012. A village represents the bottom line in the government system and therefore the capacity building for disaster resilience starts from the villages. The number of villages in Central Java reaches 8559 villages, while BNPB, BPBD Province, BPBD Regency/City can only launch Destana on average 30 villages each year from 2013 - 2018. As a result, it takes quite a long time to forming Destana in all villages in Central Java. Therefore, the role of universities, in particular the state universities in forming Destana, is really needed. One of the activities in the formation of Destana was in the kuliah kerja nyata tematik program (KKN PRB) conducted in Purbalingga Regency in 2 villages that were prone to landslides. Provisioning for students refers to Perka BNPB Number 1/2012 by implementing 20 Destana indicators. Gunungwuled village and Panusupan village were the two villages where the KKN PRB done by 10 students each. For 45 days students could build several indicators, i.e. making disaster risk maps calculated based on hazard maps, vulnerability maps, and capacity maps. Next, they made a Landslide Contingency Planning Document with residents and relevant stakeholders. The Village Disaster Risk Reduction Forum consisting of various community components and the BPBD of Purbalingga Regency was also formed. Afterwards, the capacity building activities to the community against disasters were conducted. Finally, an early warning system for landslides in areas with potential landslides was created and warning signs for landslide-prone areas and evacuation route signs were installed. With the help of KKN PRB, the Panusupan village and Gunungwuled village have now become disaster resilient villages.

Abstract

Investigation of landslide slip surface has been conducted at Salaman Sub village, Pablengan Village, Matesih District, Karanganyar Regency, Central Java Province by using dipole-dipole array geoelectrical resistivity method. Data processing were using Res2Dinv version 3.45 (semi demo version) software. The interpretation result showed that at the research area was found lithology consist i.e. clay, wet clay, sandy clay until claysand, sand until breccia. The slip surface is a wet clay layer with resistivity value range from 19.3 Ω m to 36.6 Ω m, for one section was found with depth of 1.7 meter until 17 meters, and for two section was found with depth of 8.9 until 16.4 meters.

Abstract

Berdasarkan informasi dari letak geografis dan struktur geologi, Kota Surakarta termasuk wilayah yang mengalami dampak gempa bumi[1]. Salah satu upaya untuk mengurangi dampak dari gempa bumi yaitu melakukan analisa tingkat bahaya seismik sebagai salah satu usaha mitigasi bencana gempa dengan metode mikrotremor yang dapat diketahui nilai amplifikasi dan periode dominan.  Pada penelitian telah dilakukan di Kota Surakarta menggunakan P.A.S.I Seismograph Mod. 16S24-P, 3D Borehole Geophone Model GFA 60/100. Interval pada setiap lokasi yaitu 1-3 km dengan 12 lokasi penelitian. Diperlukan waktu sekitar 20 menit dengan tiga kali pengulangan untuk perekaman data disetiap titik. Pengolahan data mikrotremor menggunakan software Geopsy dan Surfer 11. Amplifikasi rendah pada zona 1 merupakan zona yang cukup aman terhadap bahaya gempa bumi. Zona 1 berada di wilayah Mojo, Moewardi, Sangkrah, Dawung, SMPN 10, Mojosongo, Lapangan Banyuanyar, Laweyan, Karang Asem danTipes dengan amplifikasi 0,807314 sampai dengan 2,60402. Lokasi pada jenis I termasuk wilayah yang cukup aman terhadap gempa bumi karena memiliki ketebalan sedimen yang tipis daripada jenis II. Jenis I berada di wilayah Mojo, Moewardi, Sangkrah, SMPN 10, Manahan, Mojosongo, Lapangan Banyuanyar, Laweyan, Karang Asem, Jebres dan Tipes dengan  periode dominan antara 0,058978s sampai dengan 0,231411s. Sebaran tingkat kerawanan gempa bumi di kota Surakarta dapat dilihat pada peta zonasi berdasarkan nilai A0 dan T0 yang kemudian diklasifikasikan hasilnya pada zona atau jenis tertentu sehingga diperoleh informasi berupa tingkat kerawanan dan juga jenis batuan yang tersusun dibawah permukaan tanah berdasarkan parameter yang diukur.

Abstract

A research of refraction methods in estabilishment location Hospital Education Sebelas Maret University has been done on October 31 2012 with P.A.S.I Seismograph Mod. 16S24 seismic refraction instruments with 24 geophone. This research in order to determine the depth of bedrock in the estabilishment location hospital education Sebelas Maret University. In this data acquisition, the travel time data was a distance function. Processing and interpretation data used Intercept Time Method. Intercept Time Method used value of intercept time concept from travel time curve. This interpretation which resulted P wave velocities and layer rocks thickness in three line which scattered in area of survey. The result was that we were able to obtain bedrock having the depth of 4 meters until 9 meters and heaving spreading velocity 1079 m/s – 1182 m/s is interpreted as talus deposits, sandstone, clay, loam, loess, sand and gravel.

Abstract

UNS Covid19 KKN is a Thematic KKN held by Sebelas Maret University which was held in an individual format during the pandemic period. A total of 20 students were included in the Group of 87 KKN Covid19 UNS Batch 2 with a service area in Kebumen Regency. The implementation of appropriate technology for the stamping model of the dispenser with natural hand sanitizer aims to reduce the risk of spreading the virus from hand to hand. The stamping model dispenser was made of PVC as the main ingredient, and natural hand sanitizer was made from a mixture of betel and lime leaves. Four sets of tools were distributed in places of worship, mosques / prayer rooms in Bumirejo Village, Kebumen District, Kebumen Regency. The results of the program evaluation showed the public's appreciation of the appropriate technology made. The production cost for the dispenser was still quite expensive, so it was necessary to look for alternative raw materials to replace it. The aroma of betel leaf is still too dominant so it was necessary to find the right composition.

Abstract

Krendowahono, Gondangrejo, Karanganyar regency is located in the north of Surakarta city which is in 2019 the most affected area of drought. During August 2019 to November 2019, the village needs 2 to 5 water tanks dropping per day with a capacity of 5000 liters per tank. With such drought conditions, the villages government should provide clean water for their citizens. The method used for determining groundwater aquifers is the Geoelectric Method. This method works by injecting an electric current into the ground surface, then measuring the potential difference. Based on the obtained resistivity value, it can be interpreted at what depth there are groundwater aquifers. At the geoelectric survey location in Krendowahono village, it was found that the groundwater aquifer might be in layer 5 at a depth of 92.3 meters below, but the groundwater potential at this layer was not huge enough. Potential aquifers are likely to be from a depth of 92.3 meters to 110-120 meters.

Abstract

Kebutuhan air bersih rata rata sebanyak 150 liter/orang/hari, dan 80 % diantaranya terbuang pada saluran terbuka. Menurut data BPS Kabupaten Karanganyar tahun 2019, jumlah penduduk di Kecamatan Jaten tercatat sebanyak 82.000 jiwa, sehingga ada sekitar 9.600.000 liter air terbuang pada saluran terbuka perharinya. Kelompok masyarakat sasaran PKM berada di RT 05 / RW XI dan RT 06 / RW XI Perumahan Bumi Graha Indah Jaten Karanganyar. Terdapat ± 72 kepala keluarga dengan tidak kurang dari 250 jiwa yang setiap harinya menghasilkan ± 30.000 liter air limbah rumah tangga. Air limbah rumah tangga terbanyak berasal dari aktivitas mandi dan cuci. Sistem drainase yang buruk, utamanya pada komplek perumahan, menyebabkan genangan air limbah rumah tangga memiliki potensi menurunkan sistem sanitasi lingkungan. Selain menyebabkan bau, genangan air limbah rumah tangga dapat menjadi sarang nyamuk sebagai agen pembawa penyakit DBD. Ubah suai siklus hidrologi pendek dengan mengalirkan air limbah rumah tangga ke dalam sumur resapan secara komunal dapat memberikan dua keuntungan. Pertama, aplikasi sumur resapan dapat memotong siklus hidrologi dan menjaga kelestarian air tanah setempat. Kedua, sumur resapan komunal dapat mengurangi genangan pada sistem drainase yang tidak sempurna sehingga dapat meningkatkan kualitas sanitasi lingkungan

Abstract

Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) di Desa Jatisobo, Kecamatan Polokarto, Kabupaten Sukoharjo, ProvinsiJawa Tengah merupakan sarana bagi mahasiswa untuk pengabdian kepada masyarakatdalam menerapkanIlmuyang didapatkan di Perguruan Tinggi. Kegiatan KKN di Desa Jatisobo bertujuan untukmengembangkan potensi desa sebagai upaya pemberdayaan masyarakat. Desa Jatisobo memiliki tanah yangsubur dan sebagian besar merupakan lahan pertanian padi sehingga masyarakat Desa Jatisobo banyak yangbekerja sebagai petani. Petani di Desa Jatisobo mengeluhkan permasalahan utama pertanian padi berupahama tikus dan kerdil yang merugikan petani. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan tersebut dilakukan denganmemberikan penyuluhan pertanian tentang hama tikus dan kerdil yang bekerjasama dengan DinasPertanian Polokarto sebagai tahap awal penanaman pemahaman kepada masyarakat supaya masalahpertanian di Desa Jatisobo dapat teratasi. Pelaksanaan kegiatan KKN telah terlaksana dengan baikwalaupun dilaksanakan di masa pandemi dengan jumlah partisipan terbatas. Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatanini terjalin komunikasi antar kelompok tani dengan dinas pertanian yang semakin baik, selain itu parapetani mendapatkan pengetahuan mengenai hama pertanian serta cara untuk menanggulangi hama tikusdan kerdil.Kata kunci: KKN, pandemi, pemberdayaan masyarakat, penyuluhan pertanian, potensi desa

Abstract

Kegiatan pelatihan  ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kualitas sumber dayamanusia di Desa Ngombakan dalam memanfaatkan kotoran ternak menjadi pupuk organik. Kegiatanpelatihan ini dilaksanakan secara luring diikuti praktik pembuatan pupuk organik secara langsungoleh Tim Mahasiswa KKN UNS kelompok 213 dengan bimbingan dari penyuluh. Partisipasi danantusiame Bapak-bapak kelompok tani dalam kegiatan ini sangat baik, kelompok mitra berkontribusiaktif dalam pengadaan keperluan pelatihan serta aktif berbagi pengalaman dalam mengolah sampah.Dampak dari kegiatan pelatihan mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kelompok taniDesa Ngombakan dalam mengolah kotoran ternak menjadi pupuk organik dan mengaplikasikannyasecara mandiri dalam pertanian.
