Abstract

This study aims to get a combination of seed sources and which ZPT provides the best viability, vigor seed, and growth of curly chili seedlings (Capsinum annuum L.). The research was conducted from July to November 2020 in gauze houses and residential areas. The research method used is the experimental method of Randomized Design Group (RDG) with 10 combination treatments namely A (new seed harvest + Control), B (new seed harvest + Onion Extract), C (new seed harvest + Bean sprout extract), D (new seed harvest + Young coconut water), E (new seed harvest + Giberelin), F (Expired seed + Control), G (Expired seed + Red Onion Extract), H (Expired seed + Bean extract) , I (Expired Seed + Young Coconut Water), J (Expired Seed + Giberelin). Each treatment is repeated 3 times so that there are 30 experimental units. The effect of the treatment is tested with a variety analysis and if the F test at the level of 5% the results show significant then to know the best treatment followed by dmrt test (Duncan Multiple Range Test) level 5%. The results of the study in phase 1 showed that the combination of seed source and ZPT had a real effect on germination power parameters, vigor index, growth speed.

Abstract

This research was conducted at the screen house on Pancawati Village, Klari District, Karawang Regency, West Java from January to April 2021. The research method used is an experimental method with a single factor Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 9 combinations of treatments and 3 replications, the treatments: A (fermentation of rice water 0%+ tofu liquid waste 0%), B (fermentation of rice water 0%+ tofu liquid waste 10%), C (fermentation of rice water 0%+ tofu liquid waste 20%), D (fermentation of rice water 50%+ tofu liquid waste 0%), E (fermentation of rice water 50%+ tofu liquid waste 10%), F (fermentation of rice water 50%+ tofu liquid waste 20%), G (fermentation of rice water 100%+ tofu liquid waste 0%), H (fermentation of rice water 100%+ tofu liquid waste 10%), I (fermentation of rice water 100%+ tofu liquid waste 20%). The result showed there was significant on fermentation of rice water and tofu liquid waste on the average height of plants 7 hst, the number of leaves 28 hst, the number of branches 28 hst, and the area of leaves. The treatment of E (fermentation of rice water 50%+ tofu liquid waste 10%) obtained the best result the average height of plants 7 hst, the number of leaves 28 hst and the number of branches 28 hst meanwhile treatment B (fermentation of rice water 0%+ tofu liquid waste 10%) obtained the best result the average leaf area.

Abstract

The research was carried out at the Screen House of the new land of UNSIKA, Pasir Jengkol Village, Majalaya District, Karawang Regency, from October 2020 to March 2021. The design used was a non-factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 6 treatments and 4 replications, namely A (cocopeat with paper sludge organic fertilizer 1:0), B (husk charcoal with paper sludge organic fertilizer 1:0), C (cocopeat with paper sludge organic fertilizer 3:1), D (husk charcoal with paper sludge organic fertilizer 3:1 ), E (cocopeat 1:1 organic fertilizer paper sludge), F (husk charcoal 1:1 organic fertilizer paper sludge) so that there were 24 experimental units. The results showed that the addition of organic planting media and organic sludge fertilizer had a significant effect on mustard plants aged 4 weeks after planting, with a plant height of 30.32 cm in treatment D. Meanwhile, on the observation of leaf area, the addition of planting media in organic sludge fertilizer had a significant effect on mustard plants with an area of ​​447.725 in treatment F. The combination of organic growing media and organic sludge fertilizer gave a significant effect on root length of 30.05 cm in treatment F. Organic planting media and sludge fertilizer had a significant effect on wet weight 1055.75 grams and the wet weight without roots is 93.75 grams.

Abstract

The experiment was carried out from May 2021 to August 2021 at Lahan Baru Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang, Pasirjengkol Village, Majalaya District, Karawang Regency, West Java, The experiment method used in this study is an experimental method using a single factor Randomized Block Design (RAK), the number of treatments in this study consisted of 6 treatments repeated 4 times, the treatments consisted of : A (soil 100%), B ( soil 75% + Compost Paper 25%), C (Soil 75% + Rice Husk 25%), D (Soil 50% + Compost Paper 50%), E (Soil 50% + Rice Husk 50%), F (Soil 50% + Compost Paper 25% + Rice Husk 25%). The experimental results showed that the addition of compost waste paper mud and rice husks as a mixture of planting media gave significantly different effects on plant height 21 DAP and 28 DAP, number of leaves 21 DAP and 28 DAP, leaf area, root length, and fresh weight of red spinach. Treatment B, which was 75% soil + 25% paper compost, gave the highest yields for plant heights at 21 DAP and 28 DAP at 39.67 cm and 52.75 cm, the number of plant leaves at 21 DAP and 28 DAP at 28.00 strands and 46.50 strands, plant leaf area of ​​372.78 cm2, plant fresh weight of 78.56 grams, and treatment F namely 50% Soil + 25% Paper Compost + 25% Rice Husk gave the highest yield on the root length of red spinach of 43.95 cm.

Abstract

Soy plant (Glycine max L.) has an important meaning to meet food needs in order to improve the nutrition of the society. Based on previous research, the provision of seeds in sufficient and timely quantities is often constrained due to improper seed processing and the initial moisture content of seeds before relatively high storage. This then attracted the attention of the authors to research to find out whether there is an interaction between silica gel treatment with drying duration to decreased moisture content and seed viability and the growth and yield of soybean varieties of Anjasmoro using experimental methods with Complete Random Design (RAL) 2 factors and the treatment is repeated 3 times so that 12 samples are obtained. The results achieved from this study are that there is an interaction between silica gel treatment and the duration of drying of seed moisture content, seed viability, and the growth and yield of soybean plants (Glycine max L.). The tallest plant of 68 cm is achieved by control treatment with a drying length of 2 weeks. The highest yield weight per plant of 147 grams was achieved by the Control s0 treatment with a drying duration of 2 week.

Abstract

Red spinach is a vegetable plant that has high economic value and is usually consumed by the leaves. In 2019 there was a decrease caused by the lack of soil fertility so that to increase production, it could improve soil fertility by means of fertilization.The purpose of this study was to obtain the optimal combination dose of organic chicken eggshell fertilizer from inorganic urea fertilizer on the growth and yield of red spinach (Amaranthus tricolor L.) mira variety. The research was carried out from June to July 2021, on the exact land in Pasir jengkol Village, Majalaya District, Karawang Regency, West Java. The research method used was factorial randomized block design (RAK), the first factor was liquid organic fertilizer chicken egg shells (C) consisting of 3 levels: c0 (0 ml/L), c1 (30 ml/L), c2 (60 ml/L). L) and the second factor of inorganic fertilizer urea (u) consists of 3 levels: u0 (0 kg/ha), u1 (50 kg/ha), u2 (100 kg/ha).There were 9 treatments with 3 replications so there were 27 experimental units. The results showed that there was no interaction between the addition of liquid organic fertilizer chicken egg shells with inorganic fertilizers on the growth and yield of red spinach (Amaranthus tricolor L.) mira variety. There was no one dose of inorganic urea fertilizer that provided optimal growth and yield of red spinach (Amaranthus tricolor L.) mira variety for each dose of liquid organic fertilizer given chicken egg shells.

Abstract

Fertilization efficiency is an effort to break the chain of inorganic fertilizer use which is increasingly uncontrolled. This study aims to obtain the most appropriate composting time of enriched organic fertilizer to obtain the most optimal crop yield in the context of the efficiency of inorganic fertilizers N and P. The research was carried out in the Soil Fertility Laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture UNSIKA and the Greenhouse laboratory of PT. Pupuk Kujang Cikampek, held during the dry season of 2017. The research was designed using factorial randomized block design. The first factor was the incubation time of enriched organic fertilizer consisting of 3 levels, namely W1 = 21 days incubation time, W2 = 35 days incubation time and W3 = 49 days incubation time. The second factor is a combination of fertilizing doses consisting of 4 levels, namely P1 = 20 tons of organic fertilizer enriched ha-1 + 100% dose recommended inorganic fertilizer NP, P2 = 20 tons of organic fertilizer enriched ha-1 + 75% dose recommended inorganic NP fertilizer , P3 = 20 tons of organic fertilizer enriched ha-1 + 50% dose recommended inorganic fertilizer NP and P4 = 20 tons of organic fertilizer enriched ha-1 + 25% dose recommended inorganic NP fertilizer. The results showed that the combination of treatment of 21 days after incubation + 25% recommended N and P inorganic fertilizers gave the best results in the total functional microbial population, observed growth and component yields.

Abstract

The experiment was carried out from April 2021 to August 2021 in Karangmulya village, Bojongmangu sub-distric, Bekasi district. The research method was carried out using experimental methods and the experimental design used a Randomized Block Design (RAK) with 9 treatments, namely A (40 cm x 50 cm + PM 126 F1), B (50 cm x 50 cm + PM 126 F1), C (50 cm x 60 cm + PM 126 F1), D (40 cm x 50 cm + Bima 45 F1), E (50 cm x 50 cm + Bima 45 F1), F (50 cm x 60 cm + Bima 45 F1), G (40 cm x 50 cm + Aquina F1), H (50 cm x 50 cm + Aquina F1), I (50 cm x 60 cm + Aquina F1). The result showed that combination of spacing and varieties increased the growth and yield of cauliflower (Brassica oleracea var. botrytis L.) in rainfed rice fields. The spacing of 50 cm x 50 cm and the Bima 45 F1 variety gave the best result on fresh wight per plant and flower fresh weight per plant, namely 446,4 grams and 325,33 grams, respectively.

Abstract

Lettuce is one of the vegetable crops with good economic value and market prospects for cultivation. Judging from the high conversion of agricultural land, as a solution, the system hydroponic technique can be used Wick (axis system) by adding an additional mixture of organic growing media. The purpose of this study was to obtain the right combination of organic growing media to increase the growth and development of lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.) variety New Grand Rapid. This research was conducted from June 2021 to August 2021 in the Screen House of Padjadjaran University located in Hegarmanah, Jatinangor, Sumedang, West Java. This research is an experimental method, using a single factor randomized block design (RBD) with 10 treatments and 3 replications, the treatments consisted of A (Rockwool), B (Peat moss), C (Husk Charcoal), D (Cocopeat), E (Peat moss + Husk Charcoal 1:1), F (Peat moss + Husk Charcoal 1:2), G (Peat moss + Husk Charcoal 2:1), H (Peat Moss + Cocopeat 1:1), I (Peat Moss + Cocopeat 1:2), J (Peat Moss + Cocopeat 2:1). The effect on the treatment was analyzed using the F test at a significant 5% level, to find out the best treatment, it was continued with the Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at a 5% level. The results showed that the addition of a mixture of organic growing media had a significant effect on the growth and development of lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.). Treatment E (Peat moss + Husk Charcoal 1:1) gave the highest fresh weight yield on lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.) variety New Grand Rapid with an average of 155.32 grams.

Abstract

The soil laboratory tests showed that the expeimental land had a silty clay texture and had low macro and micro nutrients, so that fertilization treatment was needed to grow up the vegetable crops especially red lettuce. The purpose of this research is to find the best combination of liquid fermented onion peel and NPK fertilizer. This research was carried out on the land of Tambelang Bekasi, from July to September 2021. The research method used was an experimental method and the experimental design used was a Randomized Block Design (RAK) single factor consisting of 10 treatments and 3 replications. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance and further tests with Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at 5% level. The experimental results showed that combination of liquid fermented onion peel and NPK fertilizer have significantly different effects on the average plant height (35 HST), average number of leaves (28 and 35 HST), average stem diameter (14, 21, and 35 HST), average root length, average fresh weight per plant, average fresh weight per plots, average leaf area, average leaf area index. Treatment E (NPK Kujang 360 kg/ha + liquid fermented onion peel 50 ml/lt) gives the best result on the average plant height (21, 28 and 35 HST), average number of leaves (35 HST), average stem diameter (28 and 35 HST), average fresh weight per plant, average leaf area, and average leaf area index
