Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa seberapa besar pengaruh model Problem Based Learning terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan kelas V di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 66 Pontianak Kota. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dengan bentuk penelitiannya adalah eksperimen berpura-pura (quasi exspriment) dengan rancangan penelitian nonequivalent control grup desaign. Berdasarkan perhitungan statistik dari rata-rata hasil post-test kelas kontrol 70.24 dan rata-rata post-test kelas eksperimen 75,56 diperoleh t hitung sebesar 2,137 dan ttabel (? = 5%) sebesar 1,998, yang berarti t hitung > t tabel (2,137 > 1,998), maka Ha diterima. Dari perhitungan effect size (ES) diperoleh harga effect size = 0,511 dengan kriteria sedang. Hal ini berarti terdapat pengaruh penggunaan model problem based learning terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan Kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 66 Pontianak Kota. Kata kunci : pengaruh, problem based learning, hasil belajar Abstract: This research is aimed to analize how is the size effect of problem based learning effects forward students achievement in Civic Education ini fifth grade at Sekolah Dasar Negeri 66 Pontianak. Method of research that is used in this research is experimental in from of quasi experimental with nonequivalent control grup design research design. According to statistical measurement from the average of students post-test result of control class 70,24 and average score of post-test of experiment class is 75,56 Zscore 2,137 is obtained and ttable (? = 5%) for 1,998, meaning Zscore > ttable (2,137 > 1,998), so alternative hypotheses is acceptable. From the measurement of effect size (ES) it is obtained the value of effect size = 0,511 meaning that the ES is moderate. This proves that the use of problem based learning has moderate effect to fifth year students achievement in Civic Education at Sekolah Dasar Negeri 66 Pontianak Kota.
