Abstract

This research aims to investigate and identify the empowerment of consumer rights on drug information. Research questions focused on how the role of the Food and Drug Supervisory Agency (BPOM) and pharmacists in the empowering consumers on drug information. Research indicates very important information for consumers in taking the medication. Basic settings need to be protected and fulfilled people the right to information is the Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia in 1945 under Article 28F, Articles 7 and 8 of Law No. 36 of 2009 on, and Article 4 of Law No. 8 of 1999 on Consumer Protection Act. Implementing rules and derivatives can be found in the Decree of the Minister of Health No. 1197 / Minister of Health / SK / X / 2004 on Standards of Pharmaceutical Services in Hospitals and Organizational Rules Number 004 / PP.IAI / 1418 / VII / 2014 about the Organization Regulations Concerning Guidelines for Discipline Pharmacist Indonesia Chapter IV. The right to information is also related to the basic rights of Human Rights.The conclusions showed that the agency’s role in empowering consumers POM top right drug information is by monitoring the promotion / advertising and labeling of drugs, Communication, Information, Education and Communication (IEC) and formed a Consumer Complaints Service Unit. While the pharmacist’s role on the self medication drug at the pharmacy and hospital pharmacists, by providing information, counseling, promotion and education.

Abstract

Student worksheet that used on learning activity in SMP 1 Muhammadiyah Banjarmasin is still boring handout. So, this makes students be lazy to understanding physics concept. So, because of that used development reserach on studentwork sheet on physics learning use (Children Learning in Science) is worthy. Especially this research purpose to describe : (1) the validity of student worksheet is developed, (2) the practically of student worksheet is developed, (3) The evectiveness of student work sheet is developed. This research refers to development model of Kemp. The sample that we got from validation sheet of student sheetwork; RPP; THB, observation sheet of RPP, and the result of student learning outcomes sample. Sample has anylized by quantitative and qualitative descriptive. The results of this research is: (1) Student worksheet that developed is stated by valid with few revition by two validators, (2) Student work sheet is stated practice by RPP implementation with very good category, (3) Student worksheet is developed is efective and it is from gain score with medium category. We can conclude is development of student worksheet on physics learning use model CLIS in SMP 1 Muhammadiyah Banjarmasin is stated worthy to used, because it is fulfill with valid, practical and efective category.

Abstract

Consumer dispute settlement becomes an important instrument for protecting consumers. This study aims toanalyze (i) the urgency of consumer dispute settlement body and small claim mechanism; (ii) the comparisonof consumer dispute settlement law in Indonesia and Malaysia; (iii) a lesson from Malaysia concerning smallclaim court. This research was conducted as a library research. The results show that uurgency of consumerdispute settlement body and small claim mechanism are to guarantee ultimate consumer interest. Comparingof consumer dispute settlement law in Indonesia and Malaysia, each institution and mechanism havingadvantages and disadvantages to consider for betterment in the future. Consumer Dispute Agency is a middleway or a combination off SCC system and specific dispute resolution body. But, Indonesia needs to reiteratethe existing Consumer Protection Act regarding the duty and authority of Consumer Dispute SettlementAgency. There is authority overlap with other agencies needed to be addressed.

Abstract

Stenochlaena palustris and Sauropus androgynus are known to contains antimicrobial substances such as flavonoids, saponins and tannins compounds.The purpose of this study was to analyzes the antimicrobial activity of young and old leaf infusions of S. palustris and S. androgynus leaves against Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli and Candida albicans. Analyze the antibacterial activity of a single preparations with a combination preparation of S.palustris (SP) and S.androgynus (SA) leaves infusion against S.aureus, E.coli and C.albicans. Leaves of S.palustris young part (SP1) taken 0-10 cm from shoots and old parts (SP2) 11-20 cm from shoots, while leaves of S.androgynus young part (SA1) leaves number 1 - 10 from the top and the old part (SA2) leaves number 11-20 from the top. The results showed that a single infusion of SP1 75% and SP2 75%, SA1 90% and SA2 90%, and a combination of SP1 75% and SA1 75%, SP2 75% and SA2 75% have the same activity as ampicillin in S.aureus. Single infusion of SP1 90% and SP2 90%, SA1 90% and SA2 90%, combination of SP1 75% and SA1 80% and the combination of SP2 80% and SA2 60% have the same activity as ciprofloxacin in E. coli. Single infusion of SP1 90% and SP2 90%, and a combination of SP1 80% and SA1 80%, SP2 80% and SA2 80% have the same activity as ketoconazole in C.albicans. The difference in activity due to differences in leaf parts used only occurred in E. coli, whereas in S.aureus and C.albicans (p <0.05).

Abstract

Introduction to The Problem: Every married couple expects children that the Constitution guarantees. However, the difficulty of having a child tends to be a problem in maintaining married life. Some couples decide to have a child by undergoing In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) Program. The arising problems are on how the current regulation of the IVF program and how to fulfil the rights of IVF program patients from consumer protection law.Purpose/Objective Study: This article focus on the problem of health services for IVF program patients based on the values of justice on the ground of consumer protection law in Indonesia.Design/Methodology/Approach: This study is socio-legal research. However, to support the validity of research, an empirical approach is critical to do-furthermore, where data obtained through interviews based on the researcher’s own experience.Findings: IVF program agreement between the IVF clinic and patients is a law based on Article 1338 of the Indonesian Civil Code. Even so, the research validation was still carried out with the support of an empirical approach. The results of this research are that the current IVF program has not been able to protect its patients’ rights. Patients’ position tends to be weak compared to the clinic or IVF hospital; the concept of the IVF program implementation agreement does not protect patient rights. In the future, attempts to protect IVF patients’ rights need an integrated and comprehensive regulation from the philosophical, juridical, and sociological basis to its practical implementation.

Abstract

Pharmacy as a profession has been undergoing many relevant changes in facing many challenges and social demands. The consumers generally are not well-acknowledged of many drugs to consume, to increase, or to maintain their health level. This research aims at understanding the role of a pharmacist in protecting the drug consumers in Indonesia. The reserach is a normative one relying on secondary data source. The data is collected by document study through reading, studying, and identifying the data to be analyzed qualitatively. The research result concludes that the pharmacists play an important role in protecting drug consumers in Indonesia by (1) being responsible in providing (a) quality assurance, production, quality control of pharmacy industry (b) pharmaceutical services in the public pharmacy. (2) Cutting off the edge business directly facing the drug/consumers in the long chain mechanism of drug consumption.

There is authority overlap with other agencies needed to be addressed.AbstrakPenyelesaian sengketa konsumen menjadi instrumen penting dalam perlindungan konsumen. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis: (i) urgensi badan penyelesaian sengketa konsumen dan mekanisme penyelesaian tuntutan secara sederhana; (ii) perbandingan badan penyelesaian sengketa konsumen di Indonesia dengan Malaysia; (iii) pelajaran dari malaysia tentang peradilan tuntutan sederhana bagi konsumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan urgensi badan penyelesaian sengketa konsumen dan mekanisme klaim sederhana adalah untuk menjamin kepentingan terakhir  konsumen. Membandingkan hukum penyelesaian sengketa konsumen di Indonesia dan Malaysia, masing-masing institusi dan mekanisme memiliki kelebihan dan kekurangan yang perlu dipertimbangkan untuk perbaikan masa depan. BPSK adalah jalan tengah atau kombinasi dari sistem Small Claim Court dan badan penyelesaian sengketa yang spesifik. Namun, Indonesia perlu meninjau ulang Undang-Undang Perlindungan Konsumen yang ada mengenai tugas dan wewenang BPSK. Abstract

Anak adalah investasi bangsa dan Negara di masa yang akan datang, maka programpencegahan gizi buruk sangat relevan untuk menyiapkan generasi yang unggul. Pemberian nutrisi yangtepat serta pengelolaan data nutrisi bagi balita adalah upaya melindungi balita dari gizi buruk.Kemitraan ini bertujuan untuk membantu mitra (1) menambah pengetahuan terkait perlindungankonsumen produk makanan balita;(2) meningkatkan pengetahuan mengenai prototype Aplikasi NutrisiBerbasis Website; (3) meningkatkan pemahaman standar makan sehat bagi balita; (4) memahami danmemiliki ketrampilan dalam membuat makanan home made yang bernutrisi seimbang;(5) pelatihanpenggunaan Aplikasi nutrisi balita dapat dipergunakan Pimpian Pusat Nasyiatul Aisyiyah. Metode yangdipergunakaan adalah Focus Grup Discussion (FGD) dan Pelatihan. Hasil kemitraan menunjukkanbawa setelah program kemitraan dilakukan (1) Peserta mengalami peningkatan pengetahuan danmampu menganalisis permasalah-permasalahan pokok terkait perlindungan konsumen produk makananbalita; (2) peserta mengalami peningkatan pengetahuan melalui Aplikasi Nutrisi Berbasis Website sertamampu menganalisis kelemahan dari aplikasi tersebut untuk diperbaiki; (3) Peserta lebih memahamistandar makan sehat untuk layak konsumsi bagi balita dan memberikan beberapa analisis untuk menjadiagenda berkelanjutan; (4) Peserta lebih memahami dan memiliki ketrampilan dalam membuat makananhome made yang bernutrisi seimbang serta mengagendakan kampanye secara nasional;(5) Aplikasi nutrisidapat dipergunakan oleh Pimpian Pusat Nasyiatul Aisyiyah untuk monitoring gizi balita bagianggotanya.

Abstract

Children are an investment of the nation and the state in the future, so the prevention of malnutrition programs is very relevant to prepare a superior generation. Providing proper nutrition and nutrition data management for toddlers is an effort to protect toddlers from malnutrition. This partnership aims to help partners (1) increase knowledge related to consumer protection for toddler food products, (2) increase knowledge about the prototype of Website-Based Nutrition Applications; (3) increase understanding of healthy eating standards for toddlers; (4) understand and have skills in making nutritious home made food, (5) training in the use of nutrition applications for toddlers can be used by the Nasyiatul Aisyiyah Center Dream. The method used is Focus Group Discussion (FGD) and Training. The results of the partnership show that after the partnership program has been carried out (1) Participants have increased knowledge and are able to analyze key issues related to consumer protection for toddler food products; (2) participants have increased knowledge through Website Based Nutrition Applications and are able to analyze the weaknesses of the application to be improved; (3) Participants better understand the standard of healthy eating for proper consumption for toddlers and provide some analysis to become a sustainable agenda; (4) Participants better understand and have the skills in making nutritious home made foods that are balanced and schedule a national campaign; (5) Nutrition applications can be used by the Nasyiatul Aisyiyah Center for monitoring toddlers nutrition for their members.
