Abstract

The poor performance of employees is not just a matter of attitude, other things like not reaching the target and customer complaints. Therefore a performance study is needed, and this study specifically examines the effect of motivation and discipline on performance. The quantitative approach is used, the research method uses associative causal, the analysis unit is a bank employee, and the research instrument uses a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis with a sample of 52 and the sampling technique used is a saturated sample technique. Furthermore, the research was carried out by testing with the stages of analysis that included descriptive analysis, validity test, reliability test, linear regression test, correlation coefficient test, simultaneous test and test coefficient of determination. The results showed that the contribution of motivation and discipline to performance was significant. This finding explains that performance will not be achieved if one of them lacks motivation and discipline rules

Abstract

There are two ways to survive, first work and second entrepreneurship. Choosing to be an entrepreneur is not easy, many things to learn, including yourself. Starting from building a business spirit, having knowledge, studying the market, creating products, and management. In this dedication opportunity, a qualitative method was chosen. Where all parties are directly involved in learning and practice. Activities carried out for 3 days, covered by studying theory, practice, and providing motivation. Where participants are encouraged to awaken the spirit of entrepreneurship by looking at the reality of business and business knowledge. The results of the activities provide conclusions; 1) to increase entrepreneurial activities in the community, the first thing it takes is building a business spirit, with routine business practice. 2) the role of tertiary institutions is mentoring by educating entrepreneurship. and 3) tertiary institutions bridge the community to get business assistance to the government

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of emotional intelligence, competence and work environment toward teacher performance either partially or simultaneously. The object research carreid out to the employee stamp of SMP Kemala Bhayangkari Jakarta. Design research conducted in the preparation of this is quantitative that aims to determine the influence between two or more deeply variables describe or reveal a problem, situation, event or revealing fact as they are deeply and try to find a solution or problems solve. The results showed that Emotional intelligence has positive effect on performance with coefficient value of 0.161. Competence has positive effect on performance with coefficient value of 0.429. Work environment positively influence toward performance with coefficient value equal to 0,262. Adjust R Square value of 0.442. Indicates that emotional intelligence, competence and work environment together contribute 44,2% to performance and the rest of 55,8% influenced by other variable outside this research

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the effect of job satisfaction and work experience on lecturer performance of Pamulang University. The research design used is quantitative with descriptive method. The analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis with a sample of 150 and the sampling technique used is proporsionate random sampling. Furthermore, the research is done by testing the stages of analysis that includes descriptive analysis of questionnaires, validity test, reliability test, linear regression test, correlation coefficient test, partial test (t test), simultaneous test and determination test. Regression analysis results proved, Job satisfaction has a significant positive effect on the performance of 0.557, tcount 6.751 and a significance value of 0.000 smaller than 0.05. Work experience has a significant effect on performance of 0.451, the tcount of 5.467 and the significance value of 0.000 is smaller than 0.05. Simultaneous analysis proved job satisfaction and work experience have positive and significant effect on performance value of F arithmetic of 72.201, significance value of 0.000 and determination coefficient of 0.744.  It?s means, job satisfaction and work experience able to explain the performance of 74.4% while the rest of 25.6% is explained by other variables

Abstract

Civil Servants (PNS) are state servants whose duties and obligations are to serve the community, so that their work behavior is professional, responsible and provides excellent service. The purpose of this study was to find, describe, and analyze the influence of leadership and organizational culture on work motivation and its implications for the commitment of employees in the Ministry of Religion Offices in Banten Province. This study uses a quantitative method with a total of 170 respondents, and the analysis method used is Structural Equation Models (SEM). The results of the study on structure I show that together leadership and organizational culture has significant effect on work motivation, but partially the leadership have negative and insignificant influence, while organizational culture have a significant effect on work motivation. Furthermore, the results of the study on structure II show that together leadership, organizational culture and work motivation has significant effect on commitment, but partially the three variables have no significant effect

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze and prove the influence of compensation, work discipline and work environment on motivation, and its implication toward lecturer's commitment, both partially and simultaneously. The method used in this research were descriptive, survey and explanatory method with population size of 1.339 and sample size of 224 respondents. The method used to analysis data was SEM (Structural Equation Modeling). The research result, obtained the findings as follows: The compensation and work environment both partially had positive and significant impact on work motivation, but work discipline hadn’t significant effect. However, as  simultaneously exogenous variables had positive and significant impact on work motivation with contribution (R2) 50%. Partially compensation dominantly influence on work motivation. Further on Structural 2 showed those:, The compensation, work discipline, work environment and work motivation both partially and simultaneously had positive and significant impact on lecturer's commitment with contribution (R2) 76%. Viewed as partial, compensation had dominantly toward lecturer's commitment. Concerning on direct and indirect effect that work motivation was being partial mediating. This study found and recommended that to increase lecturer's commitment needed to be extending work motivation, reflected by the dimension of affiliation which supported with an increase in compensation which reflected by the dimensions of none financial, especially appreciation, and repaired on work discipline particularly prevent dimension as well as corrected on work environment specially relationships. Abstract

Human resource management that is not carried out in an organized manner will certainly be a problem in businesses run by MSMEs. This study aims to increase effectiveness through the development of human resources by cross-training methods. To achieve the target of this activity, an approach was made to the relevant agencies, namely the community of MSME through workshops and socialization as well as training in the form of an explanation about the application of cross-training. After the cross-training was done, the percentage increased in the number of participants with more than one skill to 70% and impacted the output increased from 70 to 80 packs per day. However, there are skills that cannot be developed only through the cross-training method.
