Abstract

The study aimed to explore the influence of motivation factors on the development of professional competencies using Russian and Indonesian institutions of higher education as case studies. In pursuit of this objective, quantitative survey methodology was incorporated, and surveys were conducted during November and April of the 2018/2019 to 2021/2022 school years. The questionnaire was developed with a 10-point rating scale, aimed at addressing the development of students' professional competencies and the factors that motivate learning and competency development. Using the questionnaire, the level of professional competency development of students in Russian and Indonesian universities has been empirically analysed. The results of the study supported the spiral nature of students' professional competencies development, showing that the development of professional competencies follows a progressive and non-linear nature of component development. These results confirm that the process of professional competency development is structurally divided into separate, relatively independent stages reflecting sequential and gradual progression. The positive character of the influence of the balanced development level of intrinsic and extrinsic motivation factors on the formation of students' professional competencies has been established. Abstract

This paper aims to develop a product-based training model to improve the performance of research, and publication of scientific work. This research was carried out with R & D covering two stages. In the preliminary study phase, a literature review and field survey were conducted on the training models used so far. At the development stage, drafting the model, validation carried out expertand limited field testing were. Data analysis techniques using thedifferent test techniques Mann-Whitney U test. The R & D results show findings: 1) the training model is carried out through analysis, planning, development, implementation, and evaluation; 2) the validity level of the model is in the good category; and 3) the products produced by lecturers, namely the results of research and publication are higher than before using the model.

Abstract

This Final Project is one of the graduation requirements for Industrial Engineering students at the Islamic University of Bandung. Currently.  The final project consultation process is conducted manually using physical documents owned by each student as proof of consultation in the form of a consultation card. The problem faced was the difficulty in monitoring consultations and recording consultation discussions which were not well organized. The purpose of this study is to design a consulting information system using the prototyping method. The prototyping method is a system development method used to describe the system. The stages in this method consist of: (1) The planning stage is the identification of system requests. (2) the analysis phase analyzes the existing business processes in the final project section and identifies functional and non-functional requirements, (3) the design phase includes the interaction design of systems, processes, data and logical systems and physical interfaces. (4) Implementation phase of database and website development using PHP language and MySQL database. The results obtained from this study are business process consulting for the Final Project after the implementation of the proposed information system; final project consulting information system design which is expected to facilitate the consultation process in terms of time and consultation file documentation

Abstract

Abstrak Topik kajian ini adalah pendidikan di Indonesia dengan model utama pendidikan konvensional yang terdampak pandemi Covid-19 sehingga pelaksanaannya menjadi terbatas. Sebagai gantinya, alternatif kebijakan yang diambil pemerintah adalah menerapkan pemerataan pendidikan berbasis jarak jauh dengan melakukan penyediaan sarana dan prasarana serta teknis pelakasanaannya secara forrmal. Upaya yang dilakukan pemerintah ini secara tidak langsung juga turut menekan virus patologi kemarjinalan pendidikan di Indonesia. Sehingga, ikhtiar ini dapat memecah perbedaan proyeksi terhadap pendidikan antara masyarkat pedesaan dengan masyarakat perkotaan. Kata kunci: Covid-19, pendidikan konvensional, pendidikan jarak jauh Abstract The topic of this study is education in Indonesia with the main model of conventional education which is affected by the Covid-19 pandemic so that its implementation is limited. Instead, the alternative policy taken by the government is to implement equitable distance-based education by providing facilities and infrastructure as well as formal technical implementation. The efforts made by the government have indirectly contributed to suppressing the pathology virus of marginalized education in Indonesia. Thus, this effort can break down the difference in projections towards education between rural and urban communities. Keywords: Covid-19, conventional education, distance education

Abstract

AbstrakTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan sepotong informasi mendalam tentang budaya sekolah pada kinerja kepala sekolah. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kota Bandung pada bulan Oktober 2020-Januari 2021 dengan menggunakan metode survei dengan analisis jalur diterapkan dalam pengujian hipotesis. Ada 13 Kepala Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri di Kota Bandung sebagai sampel yang dipilih secara acak. Temuannya adalah: terdapat pengaruh langsung budaya sekolah terhadap kinerja kepala sekolah. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa setiap perubahan atau variasi yang terjadi pada kinerja kepala sekolah mungkin secara langsung mempengaruhi budaya sekolah. Sedangkan jika ingin meminimalkan variasi yang terjadi pada kinerja kepala sekolah, faktor-faktor seperti budaya sekolah perlu diperhatikan. Kata kunci: pendidikan vokasi, manajemen perubahan, kendali desentralisasi, BandungAbstractThe aim of this study is to portray a piece of in-depth information concerning the school culture on headmasters’ performance. It was conducted in Kota Bandung on October 2020-January 2021 by using a survey method with path analysis applied in the testing hypothesis. There were 13 State Vocational High School Headmasters in Kota Bandung as samples selected randomly. The findings are: there is a direct effect of school culture toward headmasters’ performance. Then, it could be concluded that any change or variation that occurred at headmasters’ performance might have been directly effecting by school culture. While, if we want to minimize the variation which occurred in headmasters’ performance, these factors such as school culture are necessary to be taken into account. Keywords: vocational education, change management, decentralized control, Bandung

Abstract

Abstrak Makalah ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan disrupsi inovasi manajemen sekolah yang diperlukan dalam layanan pendidikan di era covid-19. Efektifitas layanan pendidikan di masa covid-19 menjadikan pendidikan jarak jauh sebagai moda penyampaian ilmu dan kebijaksanaan. Akselerasinya akan semakin kuat dengan adanya layanan e-management yang didukung penuh oleh penggunaan teknologi. Diperlukan kompetensi baru yang lebih serius dari para manajer dalam penggunaan berbagai platform aplikasi yang menjadi disrupsi inovasi manajemen layanan sekolah. E-management sebagai disrupsi inovasi memangkas kompleksitas dalam manajemen siswa, guru, kurikulum, keuangan, fasilitas, dan hubungan sekolah dengan masyarakat dan terutama dapat menjalankan penyelenggaraan pendidikan di masa covid dengan suistanable. Rekomendasi untuk optimalisasi penggunaan e- management ini adalah diperlukan kepala sekolah visioner yang open-minded dan supporting staff yang paham ketatausahaan sebagai admin yang menjadi keyperson knowledge management ini. Kata kunci: disrupsion innovation, e-management, layanan sekolah Abstract This paper aims to describe the disruption of school management innovations needed in education services in the Covid-19 era. The effectiveness of education services during the Covid-19 period made distance education a mode of delivery of knowledge and wisdom. The acceleration will be even stronger with the existence of e-management services that are fully supported by the use of technology. A new, more serious competence is needed from managers in the use of various application platforms that are disrupting innovation in school service management. E-management as a disruption of innovation cuts complexity in the management of students, teachers, curriculum, finance, facilities, and school relations with the community and in particular can carry out education during the Covid period with sustainability. The recommendation for optimizing the use of e-management is that visionary principals who are open-minded and supporting staff who understand administration are needed as admin who become the knowledge management keyperson. Keywords: disruption innovation, e-management, school services

Abstract

During the transition to the mixed education model during the Covid-19 pandemic, some issues have emerged in the matter of providing and supporting the quality of university education in all countries, including educational programs' relevance to the demands of the labor market, expectations of students and their families, digital transformation of the educational process, and economic stability of institution networks. The purpose of the research was to evaluate the quality of educational services in the higher education systems of Indonesia and Russia. The study systematized several essential factors for achieving educational service quality in the current higher education systems, given the limitations imposed by Covid-19. Following this objective, the study utilized a quantitative approach, adopting the SERVQUALmodel that measures the service quality across five service dimensions: tangibility, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. The model aided the development of the questionnaire to assess the quality of the educational services of Indonesian and Russian universities. The questionnaire included 25 close-ended questions on two scales: one to measure the students' expectations regarding the quality of educational services and the other to measure the students' current perceptions. A snowball technique was used to recruit students from Indonesian and Russian universities as participants in the study. The students were asked to assess the educational services of their universities based on their initial expectations and current perceptions. Overall, the students of both countries revealed that they had high expectations from the educational services of their universities. However, the current perceptions of the Russian students regarding the quality of educational services provided by their universities are higher and more positive than the perceptions of the Indonesian students regarding the quality of educational services being delivered to them. Abstract

This research aims to propose the WMIP Model or Weekend Madrasah Implementation Program as an alternative resolution for the development of Traditional Madrasah Teaching and Operation in Davao Region, Philippines. The qualitative method is used based on the interview results through madrasah education experts and implementors in the said region, other related studies results, related provisions, and laws aligned to Madrasah program in the Philippines are the instruments used in reaching the result. The vital points of this study are; to enhance the pedagogical skills of the teachers (asatidhs) and develop the partnership of government schools and weekend madrasah towards the unity in education as DepEd’s vision, to support the development of the country as a whole.

Abstract

This study entitled "The Effect of Incentives to Work Discipline of Civil Servantsin PPPPTK TK and PLB Bandung". This research was carried in education andtraining institutions, technical and operational units Ministry of Education andCulture, employees with civil servant status are involved in the sampling of thisstudy. In general, this study aims to determine how the incentive effect thediscipline of employees working in PPPPTK TK and PLB Bandung. The methodused is descriptive method with quantitative approach, where the technique usedin data collection questionnaire that is enclosed with the number of 75respondents research. Data analysis and processing using the application's helpMicrosoft Excel 2010 and SPSS version 21.0 for Windows. The result of theanalyze of Means Weight Score (WMS), indicates that incentives are in the highcategory, with a score of 3,95 and discipline acquisition included in the categoryof work is very high with the acquisition of a score of 4,29. The results of the data analysis of the correlation coefficient between the incentive to work discipline shows the correlation value is equal to 0,475%, with determination coefficient of 22,5%, meaning that the incentive effect on work discipline civil servants of 22,5%, and the remaining 77,5% is influenced by other factors. The level of significance obtained 0,4607 ˃ 1,666 it means that there is a positive and significant effect between employee incentives with discipline in PPPPTK TK and PLB Bandung.

Abstract

Abstract: Objectives: This study explores the development of innovative work behavior through technopreneurship leadership. Methods: Explanatory mixed method with quantitative data collection in the form of questionnaires through a survey of 267 permanent teachers of foundations at private vocational schools in Bogor City and analyzed descriptively. Meanwhile, qualitative data collection in the form of interviews, observations, and documentation were analyzed using the Atlas Ti application. Findings: The results of this study indicate that to be able to develop innovative work behavior it is necessary to be supported by the ability of leaders in digital understanding and entrepreneurial skills in developing work programs in vocational schools. So with the abilities possessed by technopreneurship leaders, they will be able to influence the creation of a creative and innovative environment. Conclusion: Technopreneurship’s leadership ability makes a new model of leadership in the future, especially in the development of innovative work behavior. Abstrak: Tujuan: Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi pengembangan perilaku kerja inovatif melalui kepemimpinan jenis baru yakni kepemimpinan technopreneurship. Metode: Adapun metode yang digunakan yakni Explanatory mixed method dengan pengumpulan data kuantitatif berupa kuisioner melalui survei terhadap 267 guru tetap yayasan pada sekolah vokasi swasta di Kota Bogor dan dianalisis secara deskriptif. Sedangkan pengumpulan data secara kualitatif berupa wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi yang dianalisis dengan menggunakan aplikasi Atlas Ti. Temuan: Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan untuk dapat mengembangkan perilaku kerja inovatif perlu didukung oleh kemampuan pemimpin dalam pemahaman digital dan kemampuan enterpeneurship di dalam pengembangan program kerja di sekolah vokasi. Sehingga dengan kemampuan yang dimiliki oleh pemimpin yang technopreneurship akan dapat berpengaruh terhadap penciptaan lingkungan yang kreatif dan inovatif. Kesimpulan: Dengan kemampuan kepemimpinan technopreneurship menjadikan model baru dalam kepemimpinan di masa depan terutama dalam pengembangan perilaku kerja inovatif.
