Abstract

This article examines how to design Individual Learning Program (Program Pembelajaran Individual-PPI) to help students with special needs (Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus-ABK) to develop their potentials and to maximally resolve their learning problems. PPI is a learning program that has purpose to support ABK for being in inclusive class. The program is adapted from Individualized Educational Program (IEP) model –developed in America educational system- that contains of some learning events or programs to ABK for specific learning goal. One of inclusive schools that succeed developing PPI is Badrus Salam Islamic Elementary School, Surabaya. Based on PPI documents developed by Badrus Salam Islamic Elementary School team, steps for arranging PPI are: identifying strength, weak, characteristic and interest as the assessment on ABK, formulating specific information from assessment result to make students profiles that describe their need supports to increase students’ performance, designing learning method, and arranging evaluation method as indicator of students’ learning success. Whereas result shows that 75% ABK are able to optimize their learning ability indicated by their behaviour change. It is because teachers have some strategies to overcome it, such as: giving assignment regularly, designing media based on students’ characteristic, asking question related to learning process, and increasing teachers, peers, and parents’ role in learning process. From the explanation above, it is concluded that curriculum development in Badrus Salam Islamic Elementary School is in a standard manner, nonetheless there is special adaptation related to students’ individual needs.

Abstract

Abstrak : Integration of Pancasila and Civic Education Values In The Thematic Curriculum 2013 (Revised Edition 2016).This study examines the values of Pancasila and civic education on the thematic text-book of 2013 curriculum-revised edition at fourth class in the primary school and how the values integrated into the thematic text-book. To gain the data regarding to the research questions, a documentative study was taken. In analyzing the data, this study using content analysis method and the results shows that the values of Pancasila and civic education built into  students through the thematic books are the religious values, obedience, and tolerance, equality and morality, sovereignty and nationalism, democracy, wisdom, and persistency. One of the value which  frequently integrated on the book is the moral values related to the way to feel, to think, and to act. Whereas the integration was designed through some activities such as discussion, observation activity, reading, writing, and exercising.    Key Words : Integration, Values of Pancasila, and Thematic text-book   Abstrak : Integrasi Nilai-Nilai Pancasila Dan Civic Education Dalam Buku Tematik Kurikulum 2013 (Edisi Revisi 2016). Penelitian ini mengkaji nilai-nilai Pancasila dan pendidikan kewarganegaraan pada buku teks tematik edisi 2013 yang direvisi pada edisi keempat di sekolah dasar dan bagaimana nilai-nilai tersebut diintegrasikan ke dalam buku teks tematik. Untuk mendapatkan data mengenai pertanyaan penelitian, sebuah studi dokumenter diambil. Dalam menganalisa data, penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis isi dan hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai Pancasila dan pendidikan kewarganegaraan yang dibangun ke dalam siswa melalui buku tematik adalah nilai-nilai agama, ketaatan, dan toleransi, persamaan dan moralitas, kedaulatan dan nasionalisme, demokrasi, kebijaksanaan, dan persistensi. Salah satu nilai yang sering diintegrasikan pada buku ini adalah nilai-nilai moral yang berkaitan dengan cara merasakan, berpikir, dan bertindak. Sedangkan integrasi dirancang melalui beberapa kegiatan seperti diskusi, aktivitas observasi, membaca, menulis, dan berolahraga. Kata Kunci : Integrasi, Nilai-Nilai Pancasila, dan Buku Teks Tematik
