Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes at SMA Unggulan BPPT Al Fattah Lamongan through a problem based learning (PBL) learning model assisted by the Desmos application. This study used a classroom action research design which was carried out in three cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Data collection techniques using tests and non-tests (observation). The data analysis technique used a quantitative descriptive analysis technique. The results showed that in cycle 1: student learning outcomes, including in the cognitive domain, the average student learning outcomes were 77.16 and 75% completeness. In the psychomotor domain, the average learning outcomes of students are 74.79 and the completeness of students is 75%. Affective Rahah, the average student learning outcomes are 79.42 with 71% completeness. In cycle 2: student learning outcomes, including in the cognitive domain, the average student learning outcomes are 80.54 and completeness is 75%. In the psychomotor domain, the average student learning outcomes are 75.21 and the completeness of students is 75%. Affective Rahah, the average student learning outcomes are 79.73 with 75% completeness. In cycle 3: student learning outcomes, including in the cognitive domain, the average student learning outcomes are 82.91 and completeness is 75%. In the psychomotor domain, the average student learning outcomes are 78.12 and student completeness is 75%. Affective Rahah, the average student learning outcomes is 79.42 with 75% completeness. So it can be concluded that the PBL learning model assisted by the Desmos application can improve student learning outcomes on trigonometric equation material

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the process of developing and producing effective learning tools for teaching quadratic equations in 10th grade by applying the Round Robin type of cooperative learning through posing problems, as well as to describe the effectiveness of the learning process itself. The problem posing approach allows students to utilize this knowledge when they encounter problems related to the materials being thought. The subjects of this research one 10th grade teacher and 10th grade students. The design of this study uses Kemp’s model of research and development (2011). The developed learning tools consists of: (1) lesson plans, (2) student’s worksheets, and (3) an achievement test. Based on descriptive analyses of the trial session, results show the lesson plan utilized was appropriate because it was: (1) valid; (2) practical; (3) effective. Based on descriptive results, the implementation session was also deemed effective. This conclusion is based on the conditions which indicate that the teacher’s ability to organize learning was effective, the students were active during learning process, the students responded positively to the learning process, and over 80% of the students achieved grades of 70 or higher.

Abstract

Era digital menuntut segala bentuk aktivitas dikerjakan dengan cepat, efektif, dan efisien, dengan pemanfaatan teknologi yang mutakhir. Pada era reformasi teknologi 4.0 saat ini, berbagai informasi dapat diperoleh dalam waktu yang singkat melalui perangkat pintar dengan aplikasi tertentu, salah satunya adalah aplikasi untuk menyelesaikan masalah persamaan trignometri sederhana. Penyelesaian masalah persamaan trigonometri memerlukan suatu usaha perhitungan yang teliti dan kompleks. Pada artikel ini penulis menguraikan sebuah aplikasi untuk penyelesaian masalah persmaaan trigonometri secara efektif, cepat, dan akurat dengan menggunakan aplikasi desmos.

Abstract

Motivation for learning is one of the things that need to be raised in school learning efforts. This study aims to detail students' mathematics learning motivation in distance learning. This research uses quantitative research, while this type uses survey methods. The subject of the study was a private high school student in Lamongan, East Java. The instrument used in the study was a survey using a questionnaire made in google form. The student learning motivation survey results, including the criteria of each excellent indicator, found the highest score, namely 90.44%, on the enthusiastic indicator. In comparison, the good indicator found the lowest score of 71.61%.

Abstract

As an agricultural country, Indonesia relies on the agricultural sector in almost all of its territory, including in Solokuro District, Lamongan Regency, East Java. The agricultural sector is the mainstay sector because this sector plays a role in providing food for the community. The plant that is widely cultivated as well as a staple food in Indonesia is corn. Corn is the second food crop after rice, even in some areas growing corn is more profitable than growing rice. In Solokuro Subdistrict itself corn is a superior crop, to find out the amount of harvest in the future, you can use the trend moment method. The trend moment method is a method used for forecasting or prediction. The data used in this study is corn harvest data in Solokuro District in 2017-2019 to predict maize yields in Solokuro District in 2022.

Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to explain how al-Khwarizmi's theory of algebra. Al-Khwarizmi's algebraic theory introduces a geometrical algebraic approach. In the book fi al-jabr wa al-muqabala, al-Khwarizmi gives an initial definition of squares, roots, and numbers. Al-Khwarizmi made three main principles of algebra through this definition. One of the principles discussed in this article is that the square plus the root equals the number (x2 +bx = c).
