Abstract

Coconut water is well known due to its nutrient contents. Unfortunately, the  properties such as flavor, aroma, and taste is easily altered, soon after it is extracted from the fruit by splitting the fruit in two and collecting the water in a clean container. The shelf-life of coconut water drink can be improved by eliminating the enzyme that causes the degredation of the quality, i.e. polyphenol oxidase and peroxidase enzyme. Heat treatment such as pasteurization and Ultra Heat Treatment may inhibit the growth of these enzymes although resulted in the loss of coconut water unique and desirable properties. Ultrafiltration membrane and ultraviolet are two potential cold-sterilization methods. The objective of this research was to estimate the shelf-life of coconut water after ultrafiltration membrane and ultraviolet sterilization. Cold-sterilized coconut water was stored at three temperatures, i.e. 8, 13 and 25 °C, using polyethylene bottles in individual sizes (250 ml). The shelf-life was estimated using Accelerated Storage Study method with Arrhenius equation. pH and total sugar contents were measured as critical parameters, and total plate count was also observed. This research concludee that the shelf-life of coconut water which cold sterilized without any food additives was etimated to be 15 days at 25 °C.

Abstract

Operasionalisasi bisnis sangat membutuhkan adanya kreativitas yang tinggi dan adaptif terhadap perubahan. Kreativitas dalam bisnis dengan memanfaatkan perkembangan teknologi informasi, telah banyak mengubah cara pandang pebisnis dalam menjalankan bisnisnya. Tidak hanya pebisnis berskala besar, sektor UMKM pun dapat memanfaatkan hal ini untuk pemasaran bisnisnya. UMKM di Kota Bogor harus memiliki kemampuan dan keterampilan terkait kreativitas bisnis. Dengan ini, Dinas Koperasi dan UMKM Kota Bogor bekerjasama dengan STIE Kesatuan menyelenggarakan Pelatihan Peningkatan Kreativitas UMKM dalam Pemasaran di Dunia Digital bagi UMKM di Kota Bogor, yang berlokasi di Hotel Grand Asana Pangrango Bogor. Kegiatan pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan pelaku UMKM dalam memanfaatkan internet bagi operasional bisnis. Abstract

AbstrakTeknologi informasi sudah menjadi hal yang umum digunakan oleh masyarakat saat ini. Siswa dengan berbagai tujuan menerapkannya untuk mencari, berbagi, dan mendiskusikan topik-topik tertentu di setiap jenjang pendidikan. Mengintegrasikan teknologi informasi ke dalam mata kuliah Kurikulum Pembelajaran Profesi Dasar (MKDP-Kurpem) belum dikembangkan ke dalam format desain pembelajaran yang baru dengan melibatkan teknologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali persepsi mahasiswa terhadap platform dan penggunaan teknologi informasi pada MKDP-Kurpem. Ini adalah studi deskriptif kuantitatif yang mengukur persepsi siswa tentang teknologi informasi dalam mata pelajaran tertentu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 67,5% siswa dengan rentang usia 20-21 tahun menyatakan bahwa platform yang paling cocok untuk diintegrasikan dalam pembelajaran MKDP-Kurpem adalah Google form. Sedangkan penggunaan yang paling signifikan terkait integrasi ini adalah pada aspek efektivitas dan efisiensi pembelajaran yang mencapai 74,5% dengan rentang usia responden 17-19 tahun. Teknologi informasi telah merambah hampir semua aspek kehidupan termasuk dalam bidang pendidikan. Dari hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat dijadikan sebagai acuan dasar pengembangan integrasi teknologi informasi di MKDP-Kurpem untuk memaksimalkan hasil belajar siswa.AbstractInformation technology has become commonly used by society at this time. Students with various purposes applied them to seek, share, and discuss certain topics at any level of education. Integrating information technology into the basic professional-learning curriculum course (MKDP-Kurpem) has not been developed into the new format of instructional design by involving technology. This study aims to explore students' perceptions of the platform and usage of information technology on MKDP-Kurpem. It is a quantitative descriptive study which measures students' perceptions of information technology in certain subjects. The results of the study showed that 67.5% of students with an age range of 20-21 years stated that the most suitable platform to be integrated in MKDP-Kurpem learning was Google form. While the most significant usage related to this integration was in the aspect of effectiveness and efficiency of learning which reached 74.5% by the age range of the respondents’ from17-19 years. Information technology has penetrated almost all aspects of life as well in the field of education. From the results of this research, it is hoped that it will be used as a basis reference for the development of information technology integration in MKDP-Kurpem to maximize student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research aims at identifying student behaviors toward the use of electronic academic information system at STIA LAN Bandung. This research employs a model once applied by Asmoro and Gardner (2004) in their research to internet users. The model is called Technology Acceptance Model (Davis, 1989) which is widely used in information system research. The model was then developed by incorporating external variables comprising gender, complexity, experience, and voluntariness.In this research, the data were collected through questionnaires distributed to students of STIA LAN Bandung who had already utilized e-SIMAK. 116 respondents returned the questionnaires and, by using Partial Least Square, 95 of them wereworthy of being analyzed. The result shows that the obligation to use e-SIMAK causes less significant influence of behavioral intention to actual use. In addition, complexity significantly influences actual use. Meanwhile, gender also contributes significant influence to perceived ease of use.

Abstract

Cinnamon is a type of plant that contains bioactive components and useful as a functional food used in the prevention of diabetes mellitus. The aim of this study was to identify the content of bioactive components of aquadest extract of cinnamon (Cinnamomum burmanii B.) using GC-MS. The results of the GC-MS analysis showed that there were eight different compounds contained in the aquadest cinnamon extract, namely cinnamaldehyde, coumarin, ethalic acid, phthalazinone, acetyl monoglyceride, itaconic anhydride, 3,5-dihydroxy-2-methyl-5,6-, and bis (2-ethylhexyl) platelets. The bioactive component of cinnamon identified in the Aceh region is coumarin at 37.01%. The bioactive component of cinnamon identified in the Jambi region was cinnamaldehyde of 33.50%. The bioactive component of cinnamon identified in West Sumatra is cinnamaldehyde of 17.49%. This study shows that there are different bioactive components from Sumatra, Indonesia. Chromatographic analysis using GC-MS showed that cinnamon from Sumatra, Indonesia contains bioactive components that have antihyperglycemic effects.Keywords: aquades extract, cinnamon, GC-MS, phytochemical

Abstract

This study investigates the relationship between macroeconomic variables and financial market development on economic growth in Indonesia using principal component analysis. A quantitative data was collected from World Bank dataset from 2002 to 2019. Data were analysed using statistical software R. Findings reveal principal component analysis is better than multiple linear regression in explaining the correlation among independent and dependent variables. This study also reveals stock traded of total value as percentage of GDP has the biggest effect on the performance on Indonesian economy during research period. In contrast, unemployment has the smallest impact on economic growth in Indonesia. The results assist in understanding the importance of macroeconomic variables and financial market development on the performance of Indonesian economy.

Abstract

Lipemic serum caused by lipoprotein particles such as chylomicrons, VLDL (Very Low-Density Lipoprotein) and triglycerides. This situation causes interference chromophoric photometric analysis, interference on the wavelength and light scattering caused by the presence of lipid particles. This study aims to determine and differences glucose levels in lipemic serum with and without the addition of gamma-cyclodextrin incubation temperature 23oC. The study's pre-experimental use research design static group comparison. The samples were all lipemic serum many as 20 samples. The research findings were the glucose levels without adding the flocculant Gamma-cyclodextrin incubation temperature 23oC was 267,19 mg/dl. Whereas the glucose levels with adding the flocculant Gamma-cyclodextrin incubation temperature 23oC was 169,23 mg/dl. The difference of glucose levels with or without adding the flocculant Gamma-cyclodextrin incubation temperature 23oC was 97,96 mg/dl(35,23%).

Abstract

Background: People with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus in Indonesia continue to increase in prevalence. Understanding of complications due to this disease, one of which is diabetic nephropathy or damage to kidney nephrons. Objective: To determine the relationship between HbA1c levels and creatinine levels in patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. Method: This study was an observational experiment using a cross sectional approach based on secondary data. The research was carried out in February to April 2020. The population of this research study is a member of Prolanis (Chronic Disease Management Advanced Program) in Gamping 1 Puskesmas Sleman Yogyakarta. Sample with 24 patients. Analysis of data using the Spearman’s test. Results: From the results of the normality test using the Shapiro Wilk test data obtained were not normally distributed so that continued with the Spearman rank test obtained r of -0.006 and p values with sig. (2-tailed) of 0.961 or> 0.05 (H0 received). This means that there is no relationship between HbA1c levels and blood creatinine levels in patients with type 2 DM. Conclusion: There is no relationship between HbA1c levels and creatinine levels in patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus.

Abstract

Customer satisfaction index models have been developed in many countries, including Indonesia. Those models were commonly not focused on the socioeconomic status (SES) of the customer, sothis condition could be a research gap. The aims of this research is to analyze the customer satisfaction index model of branded cooking oil product in Bogor, Indonesia based on SES established from the household monthly routine consumption. Questionnaires were used as primary data collection instrument in this study, while data analysis was carried out with variance based structural equation modeling (SEM) which is also known as Partial Least Square (PLS) model, and Kruskall Wallis nonparametric test. Perceived quality, perceived value and customer expectation as were significantly influencing the customer satisfaction construct in the structural model. This study also concluded that there is different level of overall customer satisfaction on the three levels of customer’s SES

Abstract

This study has three main objectives, which are to identify the common knowledge of the non- Muslims on the Islamic banking products and services; to identify the non-Muslims perception; and to analyze the influence of respondents’ demography to the perception on revenue sharing system of Islamic banking. E-survey method was used with a quantitative approach involving 244 respondents, who partook to fill the online questionnaire. Descriptive statistics and binary logistic regression tests were used as data analysis techniques. The majority of the respondents have a better knowledge on savings, rather than other products. The existence of Islamic banking has been able to attract the public attentions, and not contrary to their religious beliefs. Respondent’s demography (ie: gender, age, level of formal education) significantly influences respondent’s perception on revenue sharing system of Islamic banking in Indonesia.
