Abstract

This study attempts to investigate the issue of the existence of institutional herding in the stock market. The existence is detected in the intraday trade data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during up, down, and stable market condition over the period 2003-2005. By using the model of Lakonishok et al. (1992), it is found that the intensity of the existence of institutional herding at the IDX, on average, is 8.4 percent. Institutional investors do not seem to lead their transactions ina certain characteristic of stock. Most of them follow positive-feedback trading strategy while others follow negative-feedback trading strategy. This study also found that the existence of herd behavior at the IDX did not destabilize the market price in a subsequent period.

Abstract

The objective of this experiment is to indentify the characters of proetease produced by Bacillus sp.UGM5.the protease secreted by Bacillus sp.UGM5 was first isolated,purified and then charactirezed.The crude enzyme has spesific actifity of 1.14 U/mg,however,the spesific activity of purified enzyme was increased by 23.8 times fold and recovery was 33.69%.The Page of nondenatured crude enzymes showes two type of proreases,however ,the SDS-Page of denatured purified enzyme showed four protein-bends with molecular weights of 55.5 kDa,18kDa respecetively.The optimum pH and temperature for the enzyme acrivity are 8.5 and 420C and belongs to serin protease type,with Km 3 X 10-3mM and Vmax 0.0890mM/30 minutes.The activity is not inhibited by Ca+2,Fe+2 and EDTA. INTISARITujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkarakterisasi  protease yang diproduksi  Bacillus sp. UGM5. Protease yang disekresi oleh Bacillus sp.UGM5 pertama-tama diisolasi,dipurifikasi kemudian dikarakterisasi.Enzim kasar mempunyai spesifik 1,14 U/mg.Aktivitas spesifik enzim yang dimurnikan meningkat 23,8 kali dengan recovery 33,69%.Elektroforesis gel poliakrilamid enzim yang dipurifikasi dan didenaturisasi menunjukan ada empat pita protein dengan berat protein masing-masing 55,5 kDa,51 kDa,18 kDa,dan 15,5 kDa .ph dan temperatur optimum aktivitas enzim adalah 8,5 dan 420C,termasuk tipe protease serin,dengan nilai Km 3 X10-3mM dan Vmax 0,0890mM/30menit.Aktivitas enzim tidak dihambat oleh adanya ion Ca2+,Fe+3 dan EDTA.

Abstract

Intention of this research is to analyse the market reaction to announcement of Annual Report Award (ARA) and know the announcement influence to return of company of FIG receiver. Population in this research 7 company of receiver of year FIG 2002 and 2003 enlisted Effect Exchange Jakarta. This research test the market reaction by using analysis of event study utilize to analyse the market reaction and to see yhe information content. Its result prove that by signifikan the market response announcement, this matter reflection of society bilief to concept of corporate governance which base on the appreciatoon. For the examination of abnormal difference return used t test by using analysis of compaire mean, what intended to know the FIG influence to return of the appreation receiver company. Its result assess the profitabilitas before and at the (time) of announcement here after and at the time of announcement bigger than 0,05 so that no abnormal mean difference return among both. Matter this means that FIG announcement not have an effect on to return of the appreciation receiver company.

Abstract

Climate change due to increasing global warming demands human habits to change. Eco-friendly lifestyles are being implemented in some countries as well as in Indonesia. Evidenced by the start popping up environmentally friendly buildings and green open areas. This study examines the elements of green infrastructure at Khatulistiwa Park Pontianak City which includes appropriate land use, source and material cycle, health and comfort of space, management and building environment. Khatulistiwa Park as a conservation area of endemic plants, typical culinary Pontianak and West Kalimantan is very precisely built in the area of Tugu Khatulistiwa which is one of the historic buildings as an icon of Pontianak City. Use of building materials on the Khatulistiwa Park should pay attention to the impression and character that want to be displayed in the building view because the selection of materials will directly show the texture of the display. A shady environment with many plants around will lower the temperature of the area. Preparation of heat shading which serves as a heat retention fins. Access to the Equator Park area can use most of the land transportation in the form of motorbikes, cars, public transport and taxis, also accessible via water transportation.

Abstract

Jamur merang dapat tumbuh pada media yang berasal dari limbah pertanian yaitu jerami padi, hal ini disebabkan karena jerami mempunyai kandungan selulosa yang tinggi, jerami juga dapat dikomposkan dengan mudah.Selain itu jamur merang dapat juga tumbuh pada media lainnya seperti kulit buah kopi, ampas batang aren, limbah kelapa sawit, ampas sagu, sisa kapas, ampas tebu, kulit buah pala dan lain sebagainya. Dalam proses pertumbuhan jamur merang selain tergantung pada nutrisi yang tersedia dalam media juga dipengaruhi faktor lingkungan. Ketebalan dan cara penempatan media tumbuh akan menciptakan kondisi lingkungan terutama suhu, kelembaban. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh ketebalan dengan jenis media yang digunakan terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil jamur merang,.Penelitiandilakukandalam "kumbung" (rumah jamur)di DesaMangaranKecamatanJenggawah, KabupatenJember. Penelitian ini disusun dengan pola dasar Rancangan Acak Lengkap yang terdiri dari 2 faktor dengan 3 ulangan, faktor pertama adalah ketebalan dan faktor kedua adalah komposisi media. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan(1) tidak terdapat interaksi antara perlakuan ketebalan dan komposisi media terhadap semua parameter pertumbuhan dan hasil jamur merang, (2) media kotoran ayam berpengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah total seluruh tubuh buah, dimana media kotoran ayam memberikan hasil yang tertinggi, dan (3) perlakuan ketebalan media berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil jamur merang.. Kata Kunci : Jamur merang, komposisi media, ketebalan media.

Abstract

AbstractThis research takes object at PT. Pundikarya Sejahtera Bekasi City, aims to determine the influence of motivation, leadership style, compensation on employee performance at PT. Pundikarya Sejahtera Kota Bekasi and which variable is the most dominant effect on employee performance. Data were collected through questionnaires involving 52 employees as both population and sample. Data analysis using SPSS program with data analysis technique using multiple linier regression analysis. The results showed that motivation and compensation have a significant effect on employee performance, while leadership style has no significant effect on employee performance, and the compensation variable is the most dominant influence to employee performance.Keywords: motivation, leadership style, compensation and employee performance AbstrakPenelitian ini mengambil objek di PT. Pundikarya Sejahtera Kota Bekasi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi, gaya kepemimpinan, kompensasi terhadap kinerja karyawan pada kontraktor bangunan PT. Pundikarya Sejahtera Kota Bekasi serta variabel manakah yang paling dominan berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang melibatkan 52 karyawan sebagai populasi sekaligus sampelnya. Analisis data menggunakan program SPSS dengan teknik analisa data menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi dan kompensasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, sedangkan gaya kepemimpinan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, dan variabel kompensasi adalah yang paling dominan berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan.Kata kunci: motivasi, gaya kepemimpinan, kompensasi dan kinerja karyawan

Abstract

The study of influence of distance, time and color for safety lamp filter variation to radiograph has been done.  The research used blue sensitive film and green sensitive, type ­-X ray, film. The research was conducted by illuminating film with safety lamp red, yellow, green and blue color filter. The type of filter was red acrylic riddle and glass which was layered in red, yellow, green and blue scot light. The variation of irradiating distance between safety lamp with film was 20 cm, 30 cm, 40 cm, 50 cm, 60 cm, 70 cm, 80 cm, 90 cm, 100 cm and variation of time is 10 second, 15 second, 20 second, 25 second, 30 second, 35 second, 40 second, 45 second, 50 second, 55 second, and 60 second. Respectualy measurement of irradiating resulted used measuring densitometer instrument. The result of research give an illustration that variation of distance, variation of time and color of safety lamp filter influence the radiograph.  The greater distance caused the fog result becomes smaller.  The longer time caused the fog result becomes bigger.  To red acrylic filter, the fog that resulted exceed the tolerance limit is more than 0,2, but for glass filter that layered red scot light is not more than tolerance limit. Abstract

PT Natura Perisa Aroma Lampung Selatan merupakan salah  satu perusahaan yang bekerja di bidang industri bahan makanan. Di dalam kegiatannya, PT Natura Perisa Aroma yang berlokasi di Insinyur  Sutami KM 9 Sukanegara, Kecamatan Tanjung Bintang Kali Asin, Tj. Bintang, Kabupaten Lampung Selatan membuka pabrik baru yaitu Unit Minyak Atsiri dengan bahan baku pala, cengkeh, kayu manis, sereh wangi dan lada hitam. Dengan adanya unit pabrik baru ini, akan membutuhkan unit pengolahan air limbah produksi yang berbeda dari pabrik yang lama. Hal ini dikarenakan perbedaan karakteristik air limbah yang dihasilkan dan kapasitas produksi yang membutuhkan unit IPAL yang baru. Limbah cair yang dihasilkan dari unit minyak atsiri masih mengandung sisa minyak dan organik tinggi, bersifat asam dan suhunya tinggi sehingga untuk pengolahannya memerlukan unit pretreatment berupa bak pengumpul penurun suhu, unit pemisah minyak (oil trap) dan unit netralisasi. Instalasi Pengolahan Air Limbah (IPAL) PT Natura Perisa Aroma unit minyak atsiri menggunakan reaktor aerobik menggunakan lumpur aktif. Pengolahan air limbah menggunakan lumpur aktif ini dapat menguraikan senyawa organik dalam air limbah melalui proses biologi menggunakan mikroorganisme.  Outlet IPAL PT Natura Perisa Aroma harus memenuhi baku mutu sesuai Permen LH RI No. 5 tahun 2014 Lampiran XLVII tentang Baku Mutu Air Limbah bagi Usaha Dan/atau Kegiatan Yang Belum Memiliki Baku Mutu Air Limbah Yang Ditetapkan. Kata kunci : air limbah produksi, karakteristik limbah, unit pretreatment, baku mutu

Abstract

Industri Pengolahan Makanan, dalam mengolah air limbah telah memiliki sarana pengolahan air limbah berupa IPAL dengan mengkombinasikan teknik elektrokoagulasi dan filtrasi (karbon filter). Peningkatan kegiatan produksi yang tidak dibarengi dengan perubahan pada sistem IPAL menyebabkan beban air limbah yang dihasilkan dari kegiatan produksi meningkat. Hal  ini menyebabkan air olahan IPAL tidak memenuhi baku mutu air limbah. sehingga perlu dilakukan evaluasi terhadap IPAL yang ada. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah melakukan evaluasi kinerja dari IPAL Industri Pengolahan Makanan. Dari hasil pengukuran parameter polutan pada air limbah hasil proses elektrokoagulasi di IPAL eksisting adalah nilai COD, BOD dan TSS mengalami penurunan berturut–turut yaitu sebesar 60% dari 3.083 mg/L menjadi 1.055 mg/L; 67% dari 820 mg/L menjadi 273mg/L dan 55% dari 398 mg/L menjadi 178 mg/L. tingginya nilai tersebut menunjukan bahwa beban polutan pada air limbah hasil proses elektrokoagulasi masih tinggi. Hal ini menyebabkan air olahan hasil IPAL masih diatas baku mutu air limbah yaitu dengan nilai COD, BOD dan TSS berturut-turut  751 mg/L, 194 mg/L dan TSS 164 mg/L. Kata Kunci: Limbah cair, industri pengalahan makanan, elektrokoagulasi, karbon filter
