Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang dibutuhkan oleh guru SMK bidang keahlian Perhotelan pada Pelatihan Pengembangan Keprofesian Berkelanjutan PPPPTK Bisnis dan Pariwisata unit kompetensi Memantau Kegiatan Kerja. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan melakukan studi dokumen, menyebarkan kuesioner dan melakukan wawancara. Tahapan analisis kebutuhan pelatihan menggunakan model Barbazette (2006) yang dilaksanakan dengan mengumpulkan informasi, menganalisis informasi dan membuat rencana pelatihan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang dibutuhkan yaitu memonitor dan meningkatkan operasi/kegiatan di tempat kerja, merencanakan dan menyusun alur kerja, menjaga catatan tempat kerja serta memecahkan masalah dan membuat keputusan. Solusi yang disarankan yaitu adanya rencana tindak lanjut untuk kegiatan belajar mandiri (On the Job Learning) dan hasil analisis kebutuhan pelatihan untuk pelatihan moda tatap muka (In Service Learning).

Abstract

This study aims to find out how students' perspectives on learning English use 21st century learning strategies through a multimodal approach to teaching English for EFL students. A lecture was conducted online for one semester (four months) by using Islamic topics as learning materials. The learning materials were presented and discussed, then students were asked to write or talk about the topics. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach to data collection through the provision of questionnaires and interviews with 47 students of the Islamic Broadcasting Program at the Faculty of Islamic Religion at a private Islamic university in Bogor, Indonesia, in the English language course. From the data collected through a set of questionnaires, it can be concluded that, 1) the majority of respondents are interested in using Islamic materials to learn English; 2) the majority of respondents state that Islamic materials assisted them in improving their English language skills; 3) The majority of respondents are interested in using online Islamic resources. Furthermore, respondents stated that the multimodal approach to learning is very interesting, very good, and can help them to learn English. In addition, students wished that direct interaction between lecturers and students could continue to function well. Hence, the use of multimodal-based materials could provide interactive opportunities between lecturers and students.

Abstract

AbstractTahsin Quran is a method of learning to read the Quran that strives to increase the reader's ability to adhere to the guidelines established (tajwid). In tahsin Quran learning, teachers must pay close attention to students' letter pronunciation in the Quran, ideally face-to-face or in sync. However, the COVID-19 pandemic has necessitated online learning, requiring some alterations to its application. The purpose of this study was to determine how students respond to online Quran learning conducted virtually in one of South Tangerang's Quran learning facilities. Students are given questionnaires about instructor competencies, the substance of learning materials, and the efficiency of tahsin online learning, which are reinforced by an interview with one of the teachers, an institution member, and students. The results indicated that, based on student answers, the institution's implementation of tahsin Quran online learning has been highly successful, with some notes and inputs to consider to improve the quality of Quran online learning in the future.AbstrakTahsin Al-Qur’an merupakan pembelajaran membaca Al-Qur’an yang bertujuan untuk memperbaiki bacaan Al-Qur’an agar sesuai dengan kaidah (tajwid) yang ditetapkan. Dalam pembelajaran tahsin Al-Qur’an, guru atau instruktur perlu memperhatikan ketepatan tiap siswanya dalam melafalkan huruf dalam Al-Qur’an sehingga pembelajaran idealnya dilakukan secara tatap muka atau sinkron. Namun pandemi COVID-19 mengharuskan pembelajaran dilaksanakan secara daring sehingga membutuhkan beberapa penyesuaian dalam pelaksanaannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti bagaimana respon siswa pembelajaran tahsin Al-Qur’an online yang dilaksanakan secara virtual di salah satu lembaga pembelajaran Al-Qur’an di Tangerang Selatan. Kuesioner mengenai kemampuan guru, isi materi pembelajaran, dan efektifitas pembelajaran tahsin yang dilaksanakan secara online diberikan kepada siswa yang kemudian hasilnya dilengkapi dengan hasil wawancara kepada salah satu guru, pihak lembaga, dan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan respon siswa pembelajaran tahsin Al-Qur’an online yang dilaksanakan di lembaga tersebut telah berjalan sangat baik dengan beberapa catatan dan masukan yang perlu diperhatikan untuk peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran tahsin Al-Qur’an daring yang akan datang.How to Cite: Shabrina, R., Chaeruman, U. Abstract

This research is motivated by the critical thinking abilities of senior high school (SMA) students who are low in several regions in Indonesia. This study aims to determine the effect of the application of digital media assisted by Lectora inspire on the critical thinking skills of eleven-grade students on light waves. The study was conducted at SMA N 25 Central Jakarta for four weeks in April 2021 with a sample of 72 students. The sample was selected with purposive sampling, which consisted of 36 students in the first eleventh-grade science class (control group) and 36 students in the second science class (experimental group). The research method used is quasi-experiment with the research design of nonequivalent control groups. The results of the posttest hypothesis test through the Mann Whitney U test with a significance level of 5% were obtained by sig. Value (2-tailed) 0.001. The zero hypothesis is rejected (Lectora inspires the influence of media on student critical thinking skills). Critical Thinking Ability Students Experimental Group increased higher (n-gain 0.5 middle category) than the control group (N-gain 0.06 low categories). Students respond very well (83%) to this lesson. Application of Inspire Lectora learning media has an impact on improving student critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Blended learning is not just simply combining online learning with face-to-face learning. It is dynamic and context dependent. It can be viewed from different contexts and perspectives. Different context has different needs and characteristics. It needs different blend of blended learning. But, blended learning has one same ultimate goal, i.e. to determine the most appropriate blend to make optimum learning experience occur. Recent literatures and studies showed that e-learning and blended learning are synonymous with synchronous and asynchronous learning. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to propose a conceptual model of blended learning design and its definition viewed from the perspective of those learning setting. This conceptual model, called quadrant of blended learning. It consists of four quadrants, i.e.: 1) quadrant 1: live synchronous learning; 2) quadrant 2: virtual synchronous learning; 3) quadrant 3: collaborative asynchronous learning; and 4) quadrant 4: self-directed asynchronous learning. As a conceptual model, it is expected that it can provide framework and idea for instructional designers in designing effective blended learning strategies.

Abstract

Teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK) digunakan dalam bidang pembelajaran, sebagai sarana pendukung agar individu, kelompok, maupun organisasi dapat memperoleh pengalaman belajar yang lebih baik. Pemanfaatan TIK ini tentunya dirancang dengan sistemik dan sistematis agar teknologi tersebut dapat memberi nilai tambah terhadap proses belajar. Salah satu contoh integrasi TIK dalam pembelajaran adalah munculnya produk pembelajaran inovatif seperti pembelajaran daring (e-learning) yang memayungi pembelajaran bauran (blended learning). Oleh dasar tersebut, penelitian pengembangan ini dilakukan dengan bertujuan untuk menghasilkan sebuah prototype produk pembelajaran bauran (blended learning) untuk mata kuliah Pengantar Organisasi Belajar di lingkungan program studi Teknologi Pendidikan Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Fokus penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan blended learning yang sesuai untuk mata kuliah Pengantar Organisasi Belajar. Penelitian pengembangan ini dilakukan dengan metode penelitian pengembangan dengan model Integrative Learning Design Framework (ILDF) melalui tiga tahap yaitu eksplorasi (exploration), penyusunan (enactment), dan evaluasi (evaluation). Hasil penelitian pengembangan ini menunjukkan hasil dengan kriteria baik pada produk hasil pengembangan melalui ujicoba ahli (expert review) dan ujicoba pengguna (one-to-one dan small group). Information and communication technology is used in the field of learning and instruction as a means of support for individual, team, and organization to get a better learning experience. This ICT application is designed with systematic and systemic way to provide added value for learning process. One of the example of ICT integration in learning process is the emergence of innovative learning products such as e-learning that embeds blended learning. On the basis of this, the development research was conducted with the aim to produce a prototype of blended learning products for the introduction to learning organization course in the Educational Technology undergraduate program, State University of Jakarta. The focus of this research is to develop appropriate blended learning for Introductory to Learning Organization course. This development research is carried out by research method of development with Integrative Learning Design Framework (ILDF) model through three stages: exploration, enactment, and evaluation. The results of this development study show results with good criteria on product development through expert review and one-to-one and small group test.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the root cause of the decreasing human performance and provide the right interventions to solve the problem in project payment sub division at PT. Sedayu Utama. The research method used is descriptive analysis with qualitative approach, data is obtained through interview, questionnaire and observation. As the results of this study of root cause analysis, the inability to use electronic equipment, to accept constructive criticism due to high level of superiority and lack of initiative thinking are found. Meanwhile from equipment factor such as computer and scanner, it is found to be underutilized and from management factor, it is found that there’s a lack of commitment, competition, coordination and understanding of the company’s procedure, from motivation factor, it is found that there’s a lack of supervision, reward & punishment and lack of value inconsistent with mission. The solutions advised to solve these problems are coaching, knowledge management, sharing session, on the job training and reward & punishment.

Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk bernama “Supermath” berupa multimedia pembelajaran berbasis gamifikasi untuk mata pelajaran matematika kelas 2 sekolah dasar. Model pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model pengembangan Rapid Prototyping oleh Tripp dan Bichelmeyer. Evaluasi pada pengembangan ini dilakukan melalui expert review dan one-to-one evaluation yang melibatkan 2 ahli materi, 1 ahli desain pembelajaran, 1 ahli media, dan 3 pengguna. Nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh dari ahli materi adalah 3,85 (sangat baik), sedangkan dari ahli desain pembelajaran memperoleh 3,94 (sangat baik), dan dari ahli media memperoleh 3,58 (sangat baik). Pada tahap one-to-one evaluation, nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh adalah 3,8 (sangat baik). Berdasarkan hasil penilaian tersebut, maka produk “Supermath” yang telah dikembangkan dianggap sangat baik dan layak untuk digunakan sebagai media penunjang pembelajaran.

Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan ini dilakukan dengan tujuan menghasilkan sebuah media pembelajaran berupa mobile learning dengan metode studi kasus untuk mata pelajaran PPKn kelas VI. Mobile learning ini diharapkan dapat memfasilitasi belajar peserta didik dan membentuk karakter yang sesuai nilai-nilai Pancasila pada diri peserta didik. Pengembangan ini menggunakan model Rapid Prototyping yang terdiri dari lima tahap, yaitu asses needs and analyze content, set objectives, construct prototype, utilize prototype, install and maintain system. Evaluasi pada penelitian pengembangan ini terdiri dari review ahli (ahli materi dan ahli media) dan uji coba pengguna yaitu uji coba satu-satu, kelompok kecil, dan evaluasi hasil belajar. Evaluasi tersebut melibatkan 1 orang ahli materi, 1 orang ahli media, dan 12 orang pengguna. Hasil review ahli diperoleh skor rata-rata ahli materi sebesar 3,68 (sangat baik) dan ahli media sebesar 3,4 (sangat baik). Pada tahap evaluasi uji coba satu-satu diperoleh skor rata-rata sebesar 3,28 (sangat baik) dan pada uji coba kelompok kecil sebesar 3,34 (sangat baik). Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat dinyatakan bahwa mobile learning dengan metode studi kasus ini memiliki kualitas “sangat baik” dan dapat digunakan untuk media pembelajaran dengan dilakukan penyempurnaan lebih lanjut.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the understanding of the mathematical concepts of elementary school students infraction material. The subjects in this study were fourth-grade students at three elementary schools in Tanjung Aman District, Kotabumi, North Lampung, with 18 students. Data collection techniques were used in the form of interviews and tests. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative analysis. The results of this study indicate that the average score of concept understanding is 30.2%. Based on the results of interviews and tests, it was found that students' understanding of mathematical concepts at the three elementary schools was still low.
