Abstract

Tourism is a composite of activities, services, and industries that deliver a travel experience: transportation, accommodations, eating and drinking establishments, shops, entertainment, activity facilities and other hospitality services available for individuals or groups that are traveling away from home. Hotel is a species of accommodations that use a building or part of its, available: accomodation service, food and beverage service and also another services for public and managed for commercial goal. Food and beverage sales has been one of revenue source. Food and beverage sales can not be separeted of product section or we called “Kitchen”. The material will handle by Purchasing Section. Purchasing will purchase to some Supplier.The purpose of this reseacrch is to give a product procurement overview by Grand Jatra Hotel Pekanbaru Purchasing Section to get quality food product and revenue optimizing of food sales. This reserach will be describe about materials of food product procurement (from request process until delivery process), Purchasing Section’s responsibility and matters. Focus on cycle of procurement, requesting process, pre-purchase activity, delivery process and quality of product. Use some theory by Andrew Hale Feinstein & John M. Stefanelli, John. R Walker, Bartono PH & Ruffino aboout cycle, responsibiility of Purchasing Section and quality of Perishable product. Design by qualitative method, interview, observation and documentations. Give some statement to request informant’s rating and held observation. The indicators that want to present and and analyze by interval size as the type of measurement, while the formula used is the Likert Scale i = .Purchasing Grand Jatra Hotel Pekanbaru responsibility when requesting process rated by “Netral” (3, 38). Pre-purchase activity (2, 46) with “Less Good” category. Responsibilty when delivery process (2, 01) with “Less Good” category. There are matters and constraits in every process. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the quality of food in Mona Plaza HotelPekanbaru and what efforts are being made to determine quality of food at Restaurant MonaPlaza Hotel Pekanbaru.The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative approach, which is a process ofresearch by classifying the data in the form of numbers processed by statistical methods.Essentially quantitative approach to this type of research and realize inferansial conclusion of thestudy at an error probability of rejection is nil. With quantitative research will be acquiredsignificance or significance of group differences in the relationship between the variablesstudied. In general, quantitative research with a study using a large amount. (Sasmita, 2013: 14).This study uses the concept of theoretical concepts by (Bartono PH, EM Ruffino 2005) regardingthe quality of the food this study used a Likert scale in every process of getting information frominformants.This research is getting good response from management prior to the guests about thequality of food at Restaurant Mona Plaza Hotel Pekanbaru. Therefore, the presence of the hotelresearch will further improve the quality of food at Restaurant Mona Plaza Hotel Pekanbaru.Keywords: Quality, Food, Restaurants.

Abstract

This research purposed to get know about how tourist response to the traditional culinary the tourist villagge Bokor sub-distric west rangsang regency archipelago meranti, Riau ProvinceThis research used qualitative desciptive method to analyze the problems. The sample in this research are 50 samples by using accidental sampling. And then the technique to collected data in this research are using questionnaire, interview, and observation. And it was using likert scale to know the length of intervals.Based on the research results, the tourist response about traditional culinaryin bokor village rangsang barat sub-district kepulauan meranti regency was in four step, there were looking the preparation, how to make, presenting and have the food.Keywords : tourist response, traditional culinary, the tourist villagge Bokor

Abstract

This research purposed to get know how performing arts development in The Karimun District of Karimun Regency Riau Island Province. How far potential and readiness from the government and the peoples to packing the perfoming arts to be a cultural tourism attraction that worthy presented for tourists. Because so far Karimun District is an area that active in performing arts events every years.This research used qualitative desciptive method to analyze the problems. The sample in this research are 11 samples by using snowball sampling. And then the technique to collected data in this research are using by observation, interview and documentation.Based on the research, performing arts packed as a cultural tourism attraction can be said to begin to develop. Because in Karimun District, performing arts presented as free entertainment for the peoples and tourists. Performing arts which consist of Dance, Music and Theatre had met several points of characteristic features for performing arts that packged for tourists as tourist community, such that a clone of the original, a short and solid version, had eliminated its sacred, magical and symbolic value, varied served, interested served. Even the last point that low pocket costs for tourist, it could be said not apply in Karimun. Because in Karimun District didn’t apply performing arts by using tickets or charge. So for every tourist who wants watched performing arts can get it free.maybe in the future can be develop performing arts attraction that worth of profit.Key words : Performing Arts, Cultural Tourism Attraction, Karimun District

Abstract

This research purposed to see the revitalization of facilities as well as see the rise of tourist visits in the old town Karimun sub-district of Karimun Regency, Riau Islands province, Due a tourist destination shaped of cultural heritage in Karimun Regency. This research used Yoeti’s theory (1996) about the tourism facilities as companies that provide services to tourists, either directly or indirectly and live life a lot depends on arrival of tourists. Used qualitative descriptive methode to analyzed the problems. The sample in this research were 11 sample by using snowball sampling. Amd then technique to collected the data in this research were using by observation, interview and documentation. Based on this research, revitalization of means in the old town Karimun sub-districts, Karimun Regency, Riau Islands Province, has been no correct management so that the revitalization of the old town as tourist destination need be implemented by the establishment of better programs and to establish local regulations concerning cultural heritage sites. Abstract

This study aims to determine the praise Festival activities and to find out what are the attractions recite Festival in Siak Sri Indrapura. This study used qualitative methods, the nature of this research is descriptive research which describes in detail in accordance with the existing situation in the region Siak recite Festival on Festival Travel Attractions recite the Siak Sri Indrapura. The informant in this study is the Head of Tourism Promotion Siak, Head of Arts and Culture Tourism Management, Implementation Committee and some praise Festival City Community Leaders Siak Sri Indrapura who became a representative of the public perception of the Festival of praise as well as some tourists who aim to know more in how big attractions in the Festival recite in Siak Sri Indrapura. While data collection techniques in this research using questionnaires, interviews, observation and study of literature Based on the research that has been done, while the main attraction at the Festival praise is their uniqueness, beauty and value contained in various kinds of performances are presented, each in this stage has been getting a good response from the tourists who come to town Siak Sri Indrapura Siak praise for the Festival, it is because in this stage many tourists can find various kinds of arts and culture in the city of Malay Siak Sri Indrapura of each sub-district in the city of Siak Sri Indrapura which amounted to 14 districts, which all have a wide range of arts culture and customs are different. Abstract

This research was conducted at Hotel Zaira Pekanbaru. This study aims to determine working motivation of housekeeping at Zaira Hotel. This study aims a). To analyze the factors that influence the working activity of Housekeeping at Zaira Pekanbaru Hotel. b). To know what efforts were made by the company in increasing working motivation of Housekeeping at Zaira Pekanbaru Hotel. The sample used in this study were 9 respondents (people). This research useddescriptive analysis method that is a technique to describes or depicts something, either in the form of drawings or photographs obtained from field data or researcher describes research results with pictures and can also mean to explain with words in thereport for complementarity Boundary problem in this study, the author discusses only working motivation of Housekeeping at Zaira Pekanbaru Hotel and any attempts by the company to improve working motivation of Housekeeping at Zaira Pekanbaru Hotel. Apart from these aspects of the author will not be discussed. The identification of this research to determine how is the working motivation of Housekeeping at Zaira Pekanbaru Hotel? and What attempts did implement by the company to improve it? Abstract

This research aims to determine Applying Personal Hygiene and way of to constraint existing overcoming in Food & Beverage Department Grand Jatra Hotel Pekanbaru.This research was used descriptif qulitatif method to describe the issues. The population in this research was used Sensus technique, and the subject is all employee in Food and Beverage Department. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know how the tourits perception of the standardization expediency facility at six stone park in bagansiapiapi city rokan hilir district. This research is used descriptive quantitative methods. There were 100 sample of that people is taken for accidental sampling. The data collection techniques in this research used observation, interview, and quesionnaires. The likert scale was used to measure the intervals in quantitative data. This research used R.G Soekadijo (1996) theory. This theory divides the standart 3 categories: space perspective and interest, color and architectural perspektive, completeness and care. The result of the research shows that the tourits perception of the facility at six stone park includedin both category, this is due to high value on space perspective and interest, color and architectural perspective. But the low value given to completeness and care because it has never been done to the facility in six sitone tourist park.     Keywords: perception, tourist park and standardization expediency facility.
