Abstract

Area of Hapanasan Rokan Hulu District is a one of attraction that as featured prodcut at Rokan Hulu distric and stregthed with governor’s decree and rokan hulu’s regent. Area of Hapanasan is area that has natural attractive with hot water in there as a superior product. But facilities that had been provided in there is not corresponding with visitor typologies in general that comes at there so that this area get reduction of visitors.This study aims to knowing general visitor typologies that come in area of Hapanasan Roka Hulu Disctrit, the visitor typhologis used theory by Smith there are explorer, elite, off-beat, unusual incipient mass, mass, charter.This study used quantitative method. This study use 100 respondens which a visitors that come at Hapanasan Rokan Hulu Distric as a respondents and doing interview with manager as a informan to completed. And then for determine of how many of all the respondens researcher use accidental sampling which reseacrcher take sampel with accidental which met accidental when the researcher at in Hapanasan Rokan Hulu Distric.This study identified into sevents main issues namely visitor thypologis viewed by Smith’s theory there are explorer, elite,off-beat, unusual, incipient mass, mass, charter. And then the researchers can know general visitor thypologist that come to Hapanasan area Rokan Hulu District.

Abstract

Tourism potential is all that is owned by a tourist attraction that is useful for developing the tourism industry in certain areas. Attraction can attract tourists to visit must meet the requirements of development that is (1) What to see, (2) What to do, (3) What to buy, (4) What to arrived, (5) What to stay. This research aims to (1) to know the potential of tourist attraction Rantau Bais Rokan Hilir regency of Riau Province, and (2) To know the response of stakeholders about the potential of tourist attraction Rantau Bais Rokan Hilir regency of Riau Province. This research uses qualitative method with descriptive approach, research subject is rantau bais village head, Pokdarwis chairman, community and public figure and tourism office of youth and sport. Data collection is done by observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis used in this research is data reduction data, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of this study indicate that Rantau Bais tourism village has the potential of natural tourism attraction, the potential of cultural tourism attraction and the potential of special interest tourism attraction. The potential of natural attraction of flora and fauna, tilan island and river rokan. The potential of cultural tourism attractions are customs such as customs of marriage and sunnah rasul, home of typical Malay carving, oldest mosque, long grave and suluk. Potential attractions are special interest attractions, adventure around the island and fishing. The conclusion of this research is to maximize the potential of tourist attraction in Rantau Bais village, by adding tourist attraction to attract tourists coming to the village, as well as repairing and equipping infrastructure facilities by cooperating with the government. Abstract

This research purposed to find out how the community participation in the management of and what factors become the impetus the community to participate in the sights of Guruh Gemurai Waterfalls.This research uses qualitative methode with descriptive approach. The subject of research consist of purposive sampling which produces 3 key informants. While data collection techniques in this study using obsevation, interviews and documentations.Based on the research that has been done, the community participation in managing Kasang village attractions Guruh Gemurai waterfalls is still insufficient, due to the communities who have not yet realized for keeping and caring for tourist attractions. And there are two factors impetus community participation that is the economic factor and the natural environment. Abstract

The research purposed to get known about the visitor's perception of the quality of service in attractions tourism of recreation park Alam Mayang Pekanbaru. This research is quantitative descriptive research with respondents consisted of 50 people visitors came to the Recreation Park Mayang Pekanbaru, selection of the study sample using technique accidental sampling. Data collection was done by observation, questionnaires/question form, and documentation. Based on the research that has been done, it show that the characteristics of visitors are mostly women, 60% and 40%, mostly a student and come from local visitors. The visitor's perception of the quality of service is obtained based on the tangibles (physical evidence), reliability (reliability), responsiveness (responsiveness), assurance (assurance) and empathy (empathy) is already good enough and visitors already feel quite satisfied with the service. Abstract

Promotion is a way of communicating by companies or organizations to encourage or attract potential customers to buy products or services marketed.The purpose of this research is to know the implementation of promotion sago food conducted by related parties in Meranti Island Regency and the inhibiting factor in promotion implementation. This research uses qualitative method with descriptive approach, research subject is Industry, Trade, Cooperative and Small Medium Enterprises as Management Party, staff of Promotion Building and Craft Promotion, and Cooperation of Tourism Office, Youth and Sports of Meranti Islands Regency and additional informant, that are visitors. The data collection is made by a interview, observation, and documentation. The result of this research is manager Taman Satwa Kandi has done promotion trought four media namely advertising, sales promotion, publicity, and personal selling not good. The inhibiting factor faced by manager in the implementation of promotion trought four promotion mix in terms of market properties fund for limited promotion, less support package, less local awareness so no effort from local community to take part in this culinary promotion, and the quality of human resources that still needs to be improved with training on promotion. Abstract

Dangkong Festival is known as Dangkong Dance Festival held in Karimun Regency is about routine cultural festival and part of Karimun Regency's anniversary celebrations, this festival is an art performance and attended by various regions, especially Serumpun Melayu. This study aims to (1) find out the various attractions in the Dangkong Festival in Karimun District, and (2) find out the efforts to improve Dangkong Festival as a tourist attraction that attracts tourists. The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive. The subjects of this study were key informants, namely Tourism and Culture Department of Karimun Regency, Sri Mayang Studio, and additional informants from the Moro Malay Customary Institute. The results of this study indicate that Dangkong Festival fulfills the criteria of tourist attraction that has the uniqueness, beauty, and values obtained in the festival. Dangkong Festival aims to promote various works of dance creation, preserve and introduce the tradition “Joget Dangkong” which is a tradition of the Karimun community, and establish friendships between Malay nations. Until now, the government continues to make efforts to improve the existence of Dangkong Festival in the midst of the Karimun community, and can attract more tourists to visit Karimun district.Keywords: Attractions, Culture, Dangkong Festival

Abstract

Data collection conducted in this by interview,observation and documentation. The result of this research is promotion of stanumbangkinang recreation park doing promotion through two media or promotion mixthat is advertising, and public relation, but the result is not good. Abstract

Pekanbaru is a city of Madani, which stands a lot of hotel hotels from stars *** to budget hotels, one of the hotels that is well known in the city is the Batiqa pekanbaru bintang *** hotel which is adjacent to Sultan Syarif Qasim II airport. This study aims to find out how the description of the Roomboy Morning Shift Task in the Housekeeping department of Batiqa Hotel Pekanbaru. This research uses descriptive quantitative method to determine the problems of roomboy performance. The questionnaires were distributed as many as 100 people, while the technique of data collection in this study used interviews, observation, documentation and questionnaires. Based on the results of the study show that the Performance of Roomboy in Housekeeping Department of Batiqa Pekanbaru Hotel is included in the category Very Good, this category is based on a questionnaire that has been filled by guests staying at Batiqa Hotel Pekanbaru. Keywords : Implementation, Batiqa Hotel Pekanbaru.

Abstract

This research was conducted to find out more about the attribute facilities at Grand Elite Hotel Pekanbaru and to find out guest responses to attribute facilities at Grand Elite Hotel Pekanbaru. The research method used in this study is a quantitative method to examine the problems raised. The sample technique used is a sampling technique based on chance. The samples taken were 50 respondents, who were taken as research respondents were guests who came to the Grand Elite Hotel Pekanbaru with the intention to find out the guests' responses to the available facilities. Data collection was carried out using interviews, observations, and questionnaires. The analysis technique used in this study is descriptive statistics to describe guest responses to facility attributes. Facilities at Grand Elite Hotel Pekanbaru include business services and facilities such as internet connectivity, suites and computers, security facilities such as reconnaissance holes, water spray systems, electronic locks, and surveillance cameras, basic facilities such as mattresses and pillows, quality furniture, and towels, personal services such as express laundry services and bell staff services, free extras such as newspapers, SPA, breakfast, and local telephone calls, dining facilities such as bars & lounges, snack bars, family restaurants, and room service, distinctive rooms Hotels such as work desks, and non-smoking rooms, airport / meeting facilities such as airport transfers, meeting room facilities, and banquet services, advertising and parking such as information boards, directions, and parking lots, fitness facilities such as gymnastics, dressing rooms, and free sauna. The results of the study show that the guest responses to the attribute facilities at Grand Elite Pekanbaru Hotels are in the good category with the highest score located in the dining facilities. Keywords: Guest Responses, Facilities, Hotels

Abstract

This research aims to determine about the implementation of housekeeping department duty in cleaning bathroom at KTM Resort Batam Kepulauan Riau.KTM Resort originally derived from the name of the hotel owner itself is MR "KOH TIET MING", which was built in 2002. However on 07 september 2017 KTM name no longer use the name of MR KOH TIET MING again but "KNOWLEDGE TEAM MINDFULL" above the work team. At first KTM Resort is a seafood restaurant called Revenea restaurant which is currently called karang restaurant and has an inn named ROISTONEA which is currently a family villa. KTM has the full name of PT HOTEL KTM INDONESIA but generally local and non local people know it by the name of KTM RESORT, KTM Resort. KTM Resort Batam Hotel located on the road Colonel Sugiono, Tgpinggir sekupang - Batam.This research to make use qualitative method to analysis set of case, wich to become the key informan in this research as much as 4 people’s. that is 1 housekeeping supervisor and 3 housekeeping roomboy/room maid. sources were obtained through observation, interview, and documentation.
