Abstract

Indonesia has founding fathers that have any brilliant ideas. At the time of drawing up the independence, they have debated each other for the sake of strong base of Indonesia. Their ideas have been embraced in conference brochure of BPUPKI. One of the figure that made especial reference in this paper is Soekarno. He have proposed Pancasila, even he embraced Pancasila in one term: “gotong-royong.” The extortion of states of philsosophy of Indonesia is the spirit of “gotong-royong.” Soekarno, in the reality, designed the “gotong-royong” as state of understanding for Indonesia. This paper has a purpose to digging the early idea of the founding of the nation., especially the Soekarno’s idea of Pancasila and “gotong-royong.” Specially, i hope, the discussion of this theme can give any contribution for Indonesian politic and social lives, of which to be felt decline in any ways progressively. Therefore, critical analysis to both of them become the especial pressure. The digging will be focused on Pancasila. Hereinafter, this paper will explain how this research can enrich multiculturalism of Indonesia. The critical contextualization for Indonesian daily live will be searched on last chapter.

Abstract

Suffering is the reality of religious people, so suffering is an important theme of almost all religions. The negativity and depression involved with suffering invite religions to discuss it. Suffering is the constitutive reality of all humans. All human beings must suffer, but their faith makes them have a different perspective in reacting to it. This paper wishes to examine the theme of suffering in hermeneutic and phenomenology studies. The research model used in this paper is a qualitative model with as much as possible using hermeneutics by comparing several texts and understanding about suffering. The expected goal of deepening this theme is to find a more comprehensive understanding of suffering as a believer, and finally be able to unite spiritual suffering in the light of God. Life is not to suffer and die silly. Life is also not filled with the solitude of suffering merely, because clearly God created man not to make him suffer. Suffering is not sent to destroy the righteous, but it is suffering that will purify the righteous even more. Suffering is the reality of religious people, so suffering is an important theme of almost all religions

Abstract

Catechetic is the coaching of children, youth and adults in the faith, which is specific to the delivery of the Christian movement, which is basically given organically and systematically, The Catholic Religion teacher deeply embraces her duties and mission through her work at school. This work is the duty and mission that comes from God himself. The Catholic Religion teacher is expected to earnestly live his vocation as a religious teacher. A Catholic teacher is an educator as well as a journalist. An educator or reporter will be able to carry out his duties well if he has a clear and correct understanding of what is actually the purpose of teaching Catholicism as a means of preaching the love of Jesus. A Religion Teacher is a person whose job is to teach another person or an emulated and imitated person. It means that the word is imitated and imitated by faith and deeds by dodging the Christian life. STKIP Widya Yuwana is an institution owned by the diocese of Surabaya aimed at educating prospective catechists and religious teachers. The institute was originally founded by Paul Janssen, CM under the name AKI (Indonesian Catechetical Academy) which aims to produce a militant and powerful catechist. According to the times, AKI has changed into STKIP Widya Yuwana. As the name implies, this institution is then identified as a producer of religious teachers, and even the impression that this institution no longer exists on the path of Jansen's romance as a catechist producer, and turned into a producer of Catholic religious teachers. This research is needed to photograph what really happened to the students. Is it true that the outward impression that graduates and students are more likely to be teachers? If so, what is the motivation behind it? Is it really a catechist profession is not promising, or indeed STKIP Widya Yuwana who had already lost the spirit of the founder of its predecessor?

Abstract

Multiculturalism is difficult to define. As a descriptive term, it has been taken to refer to cultural diversity. As a normative term, multiculturalism implies a positive endorsement, even celebration, of communal diversity, typically based on either the right of different groups to respect and recognize, or to the alleged benefits to the larger society of moral and cultural diversity”. What about Indonesia? In fact, Indonesian cultures indicate the multiculturalism. Is that similar with the concept of “madani”? What about with the concept of the civil society? Which one can adapt in Indonesia? In the cultural environment of Indonesia, cultures are not only interacted or isolated. Those two strategies work at the same time and apply to different aspects of cultures to create new forms of cultures. Multiculturalism can be defined in a ways that go beyond human activities to give a vivid multi-dimensional understanding of cultural interaction, cultural isolation and phenomena between these two extremes

Abstract

The political responsibility is important, not because of the need for the love of the homeland and the challenge of the disintegration of the nation in multicultural sphere, but must be born of deep Christian faith. This paper specifically addresses to the lay apostolate in socio-politics-society. The Catholic laity was also called to be salt and light in the political world. The emergence of some form of practical theology (such as liberation theology and political theology) affirms that concern. The theme of the laity will be juxtaposed with a review of the "political attitude" voiced by the prophets in Scripture. The hope is that the laity will become more aware of its social-political calling as part of the faithful life to sound prophetic voice in the world. The struggle of the Church into a prophetic power largely depends on the laity (and of course in good cooperation with the priests). The laity today are called to be new prophets to proclaim the truth without becoming part of the defilement itself

Abstract

Naturally, all mankinds have a desire to know. In this pattern knew that education is the natural need of the human being. This fact encourages the Catholic Church to dedicate his lives for education. This paper will punctuate the option of the Church that the poor and the oppressed must be helped, especially in education. This option, of course, has little popularity, because of its risks. Education is effective evangelization. Meanwhile, as the power and culture of the empire were deteriorating, the Catholic Church was gaining headway, especially among the poor and oppressed masses.

Abstract

Talking about God can not be separated from the activity of human thought. Activity is the heart of metaphysics. Searching religious authenticity tends to lead to a leap in harsh encounter with other religions. This interfaith encounter harsh posed a dilemma. Why? Because on the one hand religion is the peacemaker, but on the other hand it’s has of encouraging conflict and even violence. Understanding God is not quite done only by understanding the religion dogma, but to understand God rationally it is needed. It is true that humans understand the world according to his own ego, but it is not simultaneously affirm that God is only a projection of the human mind. Humans understand things outside of himself because no awareness of it. On this side of metaphysics finds itself. Analogical approach allows humans to approach and express God metaphysically. Human clearly can not express the reality of the divine in human language, but with the human intellect is able to reflect something about the relationship with God. Analogy allows humans to enter the metaphysical discussion about God. People who are at this point should come to the understanding that God is the Same One More From My mind, The Impossible is defined, the Supreme Mystery, and infinitely far above any human thoughts.

Abstract

Political science, the study of politics, examines the acquisition and application of power. Related areas of study include political philosophy, which seeks a rationale for politics and an ethic of public behavior, political economy, which attempts to develop understandings of the relationships between politics and the economy and the governance of the two, and public administration, which examines the practices of governance. Many have dream up the idealization of the politics realization. Politics should not dirty! But, the fact, actually in Indonesia, politics are corruption, abuse of power, and immoral. Is that only one paradigm of politics? Indonesia must learn to Foucault to build the good governance. Specially, i hope, the discussion of this theme can give any contribution for Indonesian politic and social lives, of which to be felt decline in any ways progressively.
