Abstract

Teknologi Cloud Computing dengan layanan Private Cloud Storage merupakan dan menjadi sebuah jawaban untuk permasalahan yang sering terjadi dikehidupan kita sehari-hari yaitu pada permasalahan penggunaan perangkat penyimpanan fisik seperti memory card, flashdisk dan harddisk dimana data-data yang ada didalamnya sering terjadi kerusakan seperti kerusakan fisik perangkat, terkena bad sector, terkena virus, perangkat hilang dan lain sebagainya seperti yang sering terjadi pada mahasiswa dan mahasiswi Politeknik Bisnis Indonesia Murni Sadar Pematangsiantar. Teknologi Cloud Storage yang akan dirancang bersifat private hanya untuk kalangan kampus dan pada jaringan lokal kampus yang tersedia. Perancangan sistem yang akan dilakukan menggunakan virtualisasi dengan Oracle VM VirtualBox. Sistem operasi menggunakan Ubuntu Server 14.04.6 LTS, Web Server menggunakan Apache2, DBMS (Database Management System) menggunakan Mariadb, Interpreter menggunakan PHP dan Content Management System (CMS) menggunakan Owncloud. Setelah perancangan sistem dilakukan kemudian sistem tersebut diimplementasikan pada VirtualBox setelah itu dilakukan pengujian sistem terhadap akses data ke sistem dengan Smartphone dan komputer sehingga didapatkan sebuah sistem yang dapat berjalan dan berfungsi dengan baik agar dapat meningkatkan efisiensi perkuliahan.

Abstract

This research was conducted to design a Decision Support System as a tool for decision makers in distributing the Bidik Misi Scholarship at the Politeknik Bisnis Indonesia. The selection of students who volunteered to become Bidik Misi Scholarship recipients used the Decision Support System (DSS) approach which applied the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method so that the decisions of Bidik Misi Scholarship recipients that had been subjective, non-transparent, and immeasurable could be overcome. The Simple Additive Weighting method is carried out by weighting the criteria and sub-criteria for each alternative for all attributes. The SAW method in the process is by normalizing the decision matrix (X) to a scale that can be compared with all existing alternative ratings. The criteria used in the SAW method in this study consisted of 2 (two) criteria and each of these criteria had Sub Criteria. The first criterion is Parents with Sub Criteria consisting of: Education, Income, The Number of Dependents. The second criterion is Students with Sub Criteria consisting of Age, Academic Potential, KIP Ownership. The output obtained from 5 data samples analyzed in this study obtained first rank NM1 with a value of 0.9, second rank NM3 with a value of 0.77, third rank NM5 with a value of 0.62, fourth rank NM4 with a value of 0.59, fifth rank NM2 with a value of 0.55. Based on the results of the tests conducted, it is concluded that the Bidik Misi Scholarship decision support system using the SAW method can make it easier and very helpful in solving the problems faced by the Politeknik Bisnis Indonesia.

Abstract

Steganography technique using the LSB (Least Significant Bit) modification method is the simplest technique. Therefore steganography with this method is very suitable for beginners in the field of steganography. The LSB modification method stores data by replacing insignificant bits in the file cover with the bits of the file to be stored. One of the weaknesses of modified LSB method is its inability to store large size data. On average, the steganography technique with the modified LSB method is only able to store data in the size of one eighth of the size of the cover (for the cover in the form of 24-bit image), of course this is not efficient. To overcome this problem, in this research several methods were proposed to enlarge the capabilities of the modified LSB steganography technique in storing data. The first method is preprocessing the data files to be stored, namely by compression the data, the second is to prepare the file cover (stretch) by enlarging the file cover (stretching image), and the third is combining the first method and second at the same time. In this research, an analysis of the processes and results of each method will also be carried out. To increase the security of the data to be stored, the data stored is also encrypted first.

Abstract

The development of cloud computing technology that is mushrooming in the world, as well as in Indonesia, is one of the causes of revolutionary changes in trends that have made many industries / organizations / agencies / institutions / companies adopt and implement them. To face the challenges of these technological developments, the Indonesian Business Polytechnic Murni Sadar Campus Pematangsiantar City is one of the private universities engaged in the world of education ready to face these changing trends to take part in educating the nation's children. The challenge of the development of cloud computing technology is to design a system with openstack as the software platform for the cloud, the ubuntu server as the operating system uses virtualization with virtualbox in order to obtain a capable system before being implemented to a physical server in the laboratory room in order to increase the efficiency of lectures. aimed at meeting the needs for practicum activities for students at the PBI campus so that they can taste and explore cloud computing technology so that they have additional knowledge to face the revolution of industrial 5.0.

Abstract

One of the characteristics of democracy is characterized by direct elections. Nowadays the role of technology greatly affects all aspects of life because it is more effective and accurate. Electronic voting or e-voting is the usual form of voting used for general elections and polls using electronic media. The shift in the conventional election process in today's technological era utilizes the media for polling, one of which is short message service (SMS). The use of Short Message Service (SMS) technology can now be utilized for voting because it is supported by many factors including availability, speed, security and accuracy of data generated. Voting Based on Short Message Service (SMS) and relatively cheap costs so as to make it easier for users, both voting participants and voting implementers, to be more optimal.
