Abstract

The veil on women is not always the result of doctrine. The development of women's thoughts in the modern era makes women free to make choices about what they will wear. This article tries to read the veil phenomenon on women through a phenomenological perspective. Research informants were several members of the Majelis Halaqatul Qulub. As a result, the women's decision to use the veil in the Halaqatul Qulub Assembly went through a process of social construction so that they could interpret the veil itself. The veil as part of identity has also been successfully recognized by the surrounding environment because they have succeeded in voicing their choice in using the veil. AbstrakCadar pada perempuan tidak selalu hasil doktrinasi. Perkembangan pemikiran para perempuan era modern membuat perempuan bebas menentukan pilihan mengenai apa yang akan mereka kenakan. Artikel ini mencoba membaca fenomena cadar pada perempuan tersebut melalui perspektif fenomenologi. Informan penelitian adalah beberapa anggota pengajian Majelis Halaqatul Qulub Banda Aceh. Hasilnya keputusan para perempuan menggunakan cadar di Majelis Halaqatul Qulub telah melalui proses konstruksi sosial hingga mereka dapat memaknai cadar itu sendiri. Cadar sebagai bagian dari identitas juga berhasil diakui keberadaanya oleh lingkungan sekitarnya karena mereka berhasil menyuarakan pilihannya dalam menggunakan cadar

Abstract

Mobilititas kerja dikalangan pekerja imigran Aceh di Malaysia merupakan objek kajian yang menarik mengingat jumlah imigran, sejarah dan dinamika kebijakan pemerintah Malaysia juga masyarat dalam merespon keberadaan imigran asal Aceh. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menelaah mobilitas kerja atau okupasi pekerja imigran dengan menggunakan empat perspektif yaitu  perspektif asimilasi, pluraslisme budaya, human capital, social capital dan perspektif struktural. Metode penelitian yang digunakan kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan datanya melalui kuisioner. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa status pekerjaan dan mobilitas vertikal secara sangat mendasar ditentukan oleh human capital seperti etos kerja, pengalaman atau profesionalisme. Secara mendasar mobilitas pekerjaan dipengaruhi oleh penerimaan pasar terhadap tenaga kerja asing dan kemampuan untuk berbaur dengan nilai-nilai masyarakat lokal. Peran penting kolaraborasi dan kerjasama dengan saling memberikan informasi sesama pekerja migran terlihat dalam mobilitas horizontal dan mobilitas spatial mereka dalam memperbaiki status pekerjaan.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal how the efforts of teachers in dealing with slow learner children at SD Negeri Cot Preh Aceh Besar. The approach used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The subjects in this study were the fourth and fifth-grade teachers of SD Negeri Cot Preh Aceh Besar. Information collection is done by using the method of perception and interviews. Furthermore, all information from perceptions and encounters is handled during the information inquiry stage, specifically information reduction, information display, and final withdrawal. The results of the research conducted at SD Negeri Cot Preh Aceh Besar showed that the efforts made by teachers in dealing with slow learner children were, first; to take an individual approach to children. Second; using a variety of learning methods to attract children's attention and interest. Third; collaborate with parents. Fourth; always motivate children. Fifth; to familiarize the Indonesian language with children. Sixth; conduct group approaches and provide advice.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the STAD Type Cooperative Learning Model on student learning outcomes in single and mixed materials for fifth-grade students at SDN 62 Banda Aceh. The method in this study is a quantitative methodology, with the Posttest model on control group design. The population in this observation is the students of SDN 62 Banda Aceh as many as 62 students in class V. The technique of collecting information is carried out by testing in the form of multiple choice questions totaling 10 items. The procedure for checking information is by applying a non-parametric statistical test, namely the Mann-Whitney test. According to the estimation results of the Mann-Whitney test on the overall student data, it appears that the calculated value of Z is -3.618. This means that the cumulative probability value of -3.618 (0.05), then H1 is recognized, and H0 is rejected. Then the level of significance (sig) is 0.00 0.05. Thus, it means that there is a comparison between student learning outcomes when applying the STAD type learning model, or it can be stated that there is an effect of the STAD type student learning model on the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SDN 62 Banda Aceh.

Abstract

This research was conducted to describe the strategies needed by teachers to motivate students' interest in learning and to identify what obstacles were faced by teachers when motivating students' interest in learning in grade IV SD Negeri Lambaro Angan Aceh Besar. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach using descriptive research. The research location is at SD Negeri Lambaro Angan Aceh Besar, which takes the subject of two teachers, namely grade IV teachers A-B. Researchers used two data collection techniques, namely observation and interviews, and analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing/verification. According to the results of data analysis carried out by researchers to motivate students' interest in learning, teachers have their own indicators in motivating students' learning interests. The strategies used by teacher IVA are the use of initial conditioning, learning comfort, a combination of learning methods, creative learning, and positive praise. Meanwhile, teacher IVB has strategies, namely, different learning, a conducive classroom atmosphere, creating questions and questions that will be answered again, effective media, and verbal appreciation. While the obstacles experienced by teachers when motivating students' interest in learning are the lack of awareness and concentration of students while undergoing learning activities so that students do not understand the material taught by the teacher.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the use of learning media in SD Negeri Mata ie Aceh Besar. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The research instrument used interviews and observation. Based on the results of the study, it was found that teachers used visual media, print media, image media, LCD, and video media. All of these media are used according to the characteristics of the media. Thus, it can be concluded that teachers use learning media according to their needs. It is expected that the school will support the procurement of teaching media according to the needs of students, and for teachers to be able to utilize learning media in learning so that learning activities can be carried out correctly.Key Words : Utilization of Learning Media, Learning
