Abstract

This research aims to know the level of students' physical fitness in grade IV and V of Budi Mulia Dua Elementary school who following Pencak Silat.This is a descriptive research. The population is all (220 students) the students of grade VI and V in Budi Mulia Dua Elementary school. The sample was taken 35% from all population (72 students), proportionate strattfied random sampling was used in this research. The technique of taking the data was used measurement test. The instrument used was Indonesian Physical Fitness Test year 2009 age 10-12 years old. Data analysis technique was using percentage descriptive.The result showed that the level of students physical fitness in grade IV and V of Budi Mulia Dua Elementary school who following pencak silat got 15 students (20.83%) belong to very poor categorry 36 students (50%) belong to poor category 16 students (22.22%) belong to fair categorry and 5 students (6.94%) belong to good category. If see from the gender, from 36 female students, 6 students (16.67%) belong to very poor categorry 18 students (50%) belong to poor categofYr 9 students (25%) belong to fair category and 3 students (8.33%) belong to good category. From 36 male students, 9 students (25%) belong to very poor categorry 18 students (50%) belong to poor categorry 7 students (19.44%) belong to fair category and 2 students (5.56%) belong to good category. If see from each class, from 36 students of grade VI, 6 students (16.67%) belong to fait categorry 21 students (58.33%) belong to poor category and 9 students (25%) belong to very poor category. From 36 students of grade V, 5 students (13.89) belong to good categorry 10 students (27.78%) belong to fair categorry 15 students (41.67%) belong to poor categofYr and 6 students ( 16.6 7%) belong to very poor category. Abstract

The study was aimed to investigate the effect of Psychological Skills Training Program on netball shooting performance. The experimental method was used on three groups of an 8-week intervention: combination of diaphragmatic breathing and imagery, plus physical practice (G1); combination of DB and self-talk, plus physical practice (G2); and control group which have physical practice only (G3). A SPANOVA was conducted to assess the impact of all groups on shooting performance across the two time periods. The main effect comparing the two treatments and a control group was significant, p .001. Post hoc Tukey test differ significantly at p .05. However, the G2 was not significantly different from the G3. The results indicated that netballers of different skill used of PST, either G1 or G2 were found to improve the netball shooting performance. It was also showed that G1 has better netball shooting performance rather than G2 and G3. As to highlighting, that the principles and practical applications of these most basic psychological skills can be taught in easier ways and probably in a relative short period of time among youth athletes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan model latihan keterampilan gerak pencak silat anak usia 9-12 tahun. Penelitian pengembangan mengadaptasi langkah-langkah penelitian pengembangan dari Borg & Gall (1983, p.775), (1) pengumpulan informasi, (2) analisis hasil informasi, (3) pengembangan produk awal, (4) validasi ahli dan revisi tahap 1, (5) ujicoba skala kecil dan revisi, (6) ujicoba skala besar dan revisi tahap 2, (7) produk final. Uji coba skala kecil dilakukan terhadap anak Tapak Suci SD N 1 Padokan dan Tapak Suci SD Muhamadiyah Demangan. Uji coba skala besar dilakukan terhadap anak Pagar Nusa Sleman, Pagar Nusa Kota Yogyakarta yang berlatih di SD N Demangan, Persatuan Hati Bantul. Instrumen pengumpulan data, (1) wawancara, (2) skala nilai, (3) pedoman observasi model, (4) pedoman keefektifan model. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan diskriptif kualitatif. Isi dari hasil produk di dalamnya terdapat 6 model latihan, (1) kucing dan tikus, (2) bentengan, (3) gobak sodor, (4) jala ikan, (5) berburu burung, (7) elang dan anak ayam. Para ahli menyimpulkan bahwa di dalam model terdapat aspek kognitif, afektif dan psikomotor, sehingga model layak dan efektif untuk digunakan.  A TRAINING MODEL FOR PENCAK SILAT MOVEMENT SKILLS OF CHILDREN AGED 9-12 YEARSAbstract This study aims to produce a training model for pencak silat (self-defence) movement skills of children aged 9-12 years. This research and development (R & D) study was conducted by adapting the R & D steps by Borg & Gall (1983, p.775), i.e. (1) information collection, (2) information result analysis, (3) preliminary product development, (4) expert validation and stage 1 revision, (5) a small-scale tryout and a revision, (6) a large-scale tryout and stage 2 revision, and (7) final product. The small-scale tryout was conducted by involving participants of Tapak Suci SD N I Padokan and Tapak Suci SD Muhamadiyah Demangan. The large-scale tryout was conducted by involving participants of Pagar Nusa Sleman and Pagar Nusa Yogyakarta City carrying out training in SD N Demangan and Persatuan Hati Bantul. The data collecting instruments included (1) interviews, (2) a score scale, (3) a model observation guide, and (4) a model effectiveness guide. The data were anlyzed using the quantitative and qualitative descriptive techniques. The contents of the product consist of six training models, i.e. (1) kucing dan tikus, (2) bentengan, (3) gobak sodor, (4) jala ikan, (5) berburu burung  and (6) elang dan anak ayam. The experts conclude that in the model there are cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects so that it is appropriate and effective to use. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: menyusun norma tes fisik pencak silat remaja kategori tanding. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah atlet pencak silat remaja kategori tanding DIY yang berjumlah 42 atlet putra dan 46 atlet putri. Penyusunan norma menggunakan rumus norma 5 skala. Teknik analisis data menggunakan pearson correlation. Hasil penelitian berupa norma tes fisik pencak silat remaja kategori tanding yang terdiri dari 8 item tes, yaitu: fleksibilitas (sit and reach), kecepatan (sprint 30 meter), kekuatan lengan (push up 30 detik), kekuatan tungkai (wall sit test), kelincahan (side step), power tungkai (standing broad jump), daya tahan anaerobik (sprint 300 meter), dan daya tahan aerobik (multy fitness test). Tes dinyatakan valid dan reliabel dengan p < 0,05.  Norm drafting of pencak silat physical test for adolescent fighting categoryAbstractThis research aimed to know the norm of pencak silat physical test for adolescent fighting category. This research used survey method. The sample in this research was 42 men and 46 women of Pencak Silat adolescent fighting category. Data analysis used Pearson correlation.The result of the research was the norm of pencak silat physical test for adolescent fighting category, it was consisting of 8 test items: flexibility (sit and reach), speed (30 meters sprint), arm strength (30 seconds push up), leg strength (wall sit test), agility (side step), leg power (standing broad jump), anaerobic endurance (300 meters sprint) and (8) aerobic endurance (multy fitness test). The test was valid and reliable with p < 0,05.

Abstract

Yogyakarta di sebut sebagai kota budaya memang sangat tepat. Dari salah satu budaya tradisional yaitu pencak silat, munculnya 3 perguruan silat yang tergabung dalam perguruan historis. Historis ini memiliki makna perguruan yang turut membangun dan mengembangkan pencak silat. Perguruan historis menyimpan sejarah yang sangat panjang, yang terdiri dari 10 perguruan, dan yang lahir di yogyakarta terdapat tiga perguruan yaitu Perguruan Pencak Indonesia (PerPI) Harimurti, PS Phashadja Mataram, PS Tapak Suci. PerPi Harimurti yang lahir dari pendopo Tedjokusuman Ngayogyakarta hadiningrat yang diasuh oleh RM Rio Harimurti, dalam perkembangannya menggunakan lambang perguruan yang berprinsip pada sumber kehidupan, dengan menggunakan unsur air, api, tanah, angin, dimana hal tersebut merupakan ciptaan Tuhan dan digunakan dalam kehidupan manusia. Phashadja Mataram menggunakan bahasa sansekerta Pha: puasa-laku, Sha: Senjata-Kemampuan (lahir-batin), Dja: Jumedhul-kelakone, yang memiliki makna ilmu iku biso kelakone kanthi laku. Pada PS Tapak Suci, dari keseluruhan lambang tersimpul dengan nama TAPAK SUCI yang mengandung arti Bertekad bulat mengagungkan asma Alloh Subhanahu wataala, kekal dan abadi. Dengan keberanian menyerbakan keharuman dengan sempurna, dengan kesucian menunaikan rukun islam dan rukun iman, mengutamakan keeratan dan kejujuran dengan rendah hati. Makna filosofis dari lambang perguruan silat kebanyakan mendasarkan pada, ke Tuhan-an dan kehidupan, yang diwujudkan dengan berbagai makna dari warna, makna bunga, anggota badan, tatasurya, senjata tradisional seperti keris, tombak, trisula, toya dan lainnya. Diantara titik-titik kecil perbedaan makna yang ada, namun masih terdapat sebuah kesamaan garis yang lebih tebal tentang tujuan yang diharapkan, yang antara lain turut serta dalam membangun generasi muda yang bermoral tinggi, Taqwa, Tanggap, Tanggon, Tangguh, Trengginas dan disiplin serta bertanggung jawab. Dari makna lambang ini dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu cara untuk mengungkap perguruan silat yang lahir di yogyakarta dan mendapat julukan sebagai perguruan Historis yang akhirnya julukan tersebut diubah menjadi Perguruan Khusus.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh permaianan tradisional gobak sodor terhadap kecepatan reaksi dan keseimbangan anak usia 12-14 tahun. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Quasi Eksperiment, menggunakan desain One Group Pre Test Post Test Design. Subjek dalam penelitian adalah anak usia 12-14 tahun sejumlah 15 anak. Instrument yang digunakan untuk mengukur tingkat kemampuan kecepatan reaksi menggunakan whole body reaction dan keseimbangan menggunakan smart balance. Teknik analisis data menggunakan t-test dengan taraf signifikansi 5%. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan permainan gobak sodor secara signifikan dapat meningkatkan kecepatan reaksi anak usis 12-14 tahun dengan nilai t hitung sebesar 3.346. Keseimbangan tidak meningkat secara signifikan dengan nilai t hitung sebesar 1.306, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa permainan tradisional gobak sodor dapat meningkatkan kecepatan reaksi anak usia 12-14 tahun. Diharapkan penelitian ini dapat dikembangkan oleh peneliti lainnya dengan melibatkan unsur kondisi fisik lainnya dan mengembangkan program latihan gobak sodor sehingga dapat meningkatkan unsur kondisi fisik secara terintegral. Gobak sodor: a traditional game to improve reaction speed and balance for 12-14 year olds  AbstractThis study aimed to see the effect of the traditional Gobak Sodor game on the reaction reactions and balance of children aged 12-14 years. This research is a Quasi Experiment study using the One Group Pre Test Post Test Design design. Subjects in the study were 15 children aged 12-14 years. The instrument used to measure reaction ability using whole-body reactions and balance using a smart balance. The data analysis technique used a t-test with a significance level of 5%. The data analysis results showed that the gobak Sodor game could significantly increase the reaction speed of 12-14-year-olds with a t-count value of 3.346. The balance did not increase significantly with the t-count value of 1.306, so it can be ignored that the traditional gobak sodor game can increase the reaction speed of children aged 12-14 years. It is hoped that other researchers can develop this research by involving other physical conditions and creating a gobak sodor training program to improve the physical condition integrally.

Abstract

Tujuan dari literature review ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi semua cedera muskuloskeletal dan sendi, penyebab umum dan perawatannya untuk mejadi perhatian bagi pelatih bola basket, untuk merawat siswa dan atlet mereka sesuai dengan trauma yang dialami, tetapi juga peringatan untuk pelatih dari berbagai cabang olahraga lain yang banyak menggunakan sendi lutut dan ankle, dan untuk menunjukkan kepada para peneliti sudut pandang yang belum diteliti. Studi meta analisis dengan literature review dari 50 artikel yang diterbitkan di jurnal internasional yang berbeda terkait dengan ilmu olahraga dari Q4 ke atas dengan pengambilan sampel secara acak. Data dianalisis menurut epidemiologi cedera olahraga pada bola basket. Hasil Total, 50 artikel dipilih. Sebanyak 1.8275 cedera yang diamati, sebagian besar terjadi pada tungkai bawah 718 (3,92%) cedera lutut, 12030 (93,18%) cedera pergelangan kaki (ankle) dan 1.094, (5,96%) cedera lainnya. Anak-anak, remaja (atlet), dan lansia lebih sering mengalami cedera kepala dibandingkan dengan usia lainnya. META ANALYSE STUDY OF THE COMMON INJURIES OF BASKETBALL PLAYERS AbstractsThe aims of this literature review was to identify all musculoskeletal and joints injuries, their common causes, and their treatments in order to pay attention to the basketball teachers, to take care for their students and athletes according to the trauma, but also a warning for the coach trainers of the different disciplines that require a lot of knee and ankle joints, and to show to the researchers the angles which are not yet solicit by the research. Meta analyse study with literature review of 50 articles published in different international journal related to sport science from Q4 and above by random sampling. Data were analysed according to the general epidemiology of sports injuries in basketball. Results In total, 50 articles were selected. A total of 18275 injuries were observed, most of them occurred in the lower limbs 718 (3,92%) Knee injuries,12030(93,18%) ankle injuries and 1094, (5,96%) others injuries. Children, adolescents ( athlete), and elders received head injuries more often compared with the other age.
