Abstract

Percobaan  ini dilakukan untuk melihat pengaruh skarifikasi dan perendaman pada berbagai lama penyimpanan terhadap pematahan dormansi biji rotan.Percobaan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok Faktorial dengan3 ulangan. Perlakuan I, Buah rotan dalam penyimpanan: B1 (penyimpanan selama 4 minggu), B2 (penyimpanan selama 3 minggu), B3 (penyimpanan selama 2 minggu), B4 (penyimpanan selama 1 minggu) dan Perlakuan II,Perlakuan pematahan dormansi biji rotan : F1 (skarifikasi/mengamplas biji 3x), F2 (perendaman dengan air panas 70ºC selama 65 menit). Untuk mengetahui pengaruh masing-masing perlakuan, data hasil penelitian diolah dengan sidik ragam dan dilanjutkan dengan uji jarak berganda Duncan’t pada α = 0,01 (1 %).Perlakuan lama penyimpanan  biji setelah panen memberikan pengaruh yang sangat nyata terhadap semua parameter pengamatan, yaitu Umur kecambah (hari), panjang plumula (mm), panjang radikula (mm) dan persentase kecambah (%). Sedangkan perlakuan skarifikasi dan perendaman serta interaksinya tidak berbeda nyata. Perlakuan terbaik terdapat pada B4D1 yaitu lama penyimpanan 1 minggu setelah panen dan skarifikasi dengan amplas 3X. Sedangkan perlakuan yang terjelek terdapat pada perlakuan B1F2 yaitu perlakuan penyimpanan selama 4 minggu dan  perendaman dalam air panas dengan suhu 700C selama   65 menit.

Abstract

Entomopathogenic fungi are bioinsecticides used to control insect pests. Entomopathogenic fungi can found in the rhizosphere area of plants. This study aims to determine the germination, sporulation, and colonization of Metarhizium spp that are found in the various horticultural plants' rhizosphere of Padangsidimpuan. Metarhizium spp used were MetCP, MetKP, MetMP, MetKPP, MetSP, MetJP, MetTP. This research conducted in the Agrotechnology Laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Muhmmadiyah Tapanuli Selatan. The study used a completely randomized design (CRD). The results showed that the highest germination rate at 6 hours after inoculation (HAI) founded in MetKPP of 31.05%. MetKPP also had the highest germination rate of 37.43% on 24 HAI. The highest diameter growth founded in MetKP, which was 5.50 cm at 14 HAI. The highest conidia density was 1,821 x 106 conidia/ml, found in MetMP, significantly different from MetCP, which had the lowest conidia density that was 1.169 x 106 conidia/ml.

Abstract

Mushrooms are organisms that do not have chlorophyll so that mushrooms cannot carry out photosynthesis. One type of mushroom that is commonly cultivated and consumed is the oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus). Oyster mushroom is a wood fungus that belongs to the Basidiomycetes class. Oyster mushrooms grow wild attached to weathered wood in the wild, by utilizing cellulose, hemicellulose and lignin as carbon sources to build cell mass. The purpose of this study was to study the growth and production of oysters (Pleurotus ostreatus) against variations in the number of seeds. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with six replications. The treatment in this study was the difference in the number of mushroom seeds planted in each baglog, namely 5, 8, 11 and 14 seeds. The data obtained were analyzed with variance and further tested with the DMRT test at the 5% level. Based on the research, it was found that the number of oyster mushroom seeds planted in baglog affects the growth of mycelium, the fresh weight of the first harvest and the harvesting age. The more oyster mushroom seeds planted in baglog, the wider the growth ofmycelium, the heavier the fresh weight of the first harvest and the faster the harvesting age.

Abstract

This service activity aims to introduce digital marketing to increase sales of MSME products (Ud. Rap ​​Sehat) in North Padangsidimpuan District, Padangsidimpuan City. The partners of this PKM activity are UD. RAP SEHAT, is a business that is domiciled in the Padangsidimpuan Municipality area but its agricultural land is located in the South Tapanuli Regency area. UD. This SEHAT RAP has an agricultural business sector whose plant commodities are Coffee and Cloves, Owner of UD. RAP SEHAT, in this case Mr. Zul Fahri Harahap, since the beginning of starting his business, which started in the agricultural sector, has wanted to form a business system from upstream to downstream, namely not only being satisfied with his agricultural products but also reaching the stage of diversifying his agricultural products into ready-to-consume products. After the running of this business and the product has been released from UD. This SEHAT RAP is in the form of Clove Coffee (KopCeng) partners are experiencing problems in selling their products. Based on the problems faced by business owners UD. RAP SEHAT, which in this case is a partner for PKM activities, is the PKM team at Muhammadiyah University of South Tapanuli who are interested in analyzing the causes of existing problems through interviews with partners. After finding the point of the problem, a solution was found to solve the problem, in this case the introduction of web-based digital marketing which is expected to be a solution related to the low product sales from UD. RAP SEHAT in this case KopCeng. This PKM activity is carried out using the workshop method (presentation of material and training) to partner employees related to digital marketing.

Abstract

Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk melaksanakan pelatihan literasi dan numerasi pada kelompok anak terkhusus membaca dan menulis. Hal ini karena masih terbatasnya pengetahuan literasi anak di Desa Mompang Jae. Hingga tim pengabdi tertarik melaksanakan pelatihan baca tulis literasi dan numerasi pada kelompok anak. Peserta didik yang menjadi pelatihan adalah peserta didik yang berada di SD Negeri 063 Mompang Jae mulai dari kelas satu sampai kelas empat SD. Semoga PKM ini dapat menjadi salah satu jalan yang berkah bagi pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan khususnya dalam membaca dan menulis.  Kata Kunci : Literasi, Baca Tulis, Numerasi

Abstract

Balakka merupakan jenis buah-buahan asli Indonesia yang tumbuh liar dikebun dan dihutan (Sunarti, 2011). Habitusnya pohon dan statusnya dihutan (LIPI.2007). pohon in banyak tumbuh di Indonesia yang tersebar di Pulau Jawa, Sumatera, Kalimantan, Maluku dan Nusa Tenggara (Uji 2006)Pada proses budidaya hal yang pertama di lakukan adalah melakukan pembibitan. Salah satu permasalahan dalam pembibitan adalah usaha tanaman untuk mempercepat terbentuknya akar. Usaha yang dapat dilakukan untuk membantu proses terbentuknya akar dapat dilakukan dengan cara pemberian hormone. Auksin merupakan salah satu hormone yang berfungsi untuk mempercepat terbentuk akar tanaman. Auksin dapat maningkatkan pertumbuhan akar tanaman sehingga dapat meningkatkan proses penyerapan unsur hara ke dalam sel tanaman (Suprapto, 2004)Hormone auksin sangat berperan dalam proses pemanjangan sel dan auksin terdapat di meristem ujung akar dan batang tumbuhan. Proses pertumbuhan tanaman dapat berhasil dengan baik jika pemberian hormon ini sesuai dengan respon tanaman tersebut terhadap hormone yang digunakan. (Nuryanah dan Djumali, 2012)
