Abstract

Treatment of heavy metal (Cr6+ and Pt4+) and organic (phenol) wastes has been studied using the relatively new method, i.e. simultaneous photocatalytic process over TiO2 photocatalysts in the batch photoreactor. Following the photocatalytic reduction of the heavy metal wastes, recovery of Cr and Pt was carried out by precipitation and leaching method, respectively.  The experimental results show that in the simultaneous photocatalytic system, there is a synergism effect between the photocatalytic reduction of heavy metal waste (Cr6+ or Pt4+) and the oxidation of organic waste (phenol), so that increasing the conversion of each other. Dopant of ZnO with the optimum loading (0.5 wt%) could slightly increase the performance of TiO2 photocatalyst in photocatalytic treatment of the wastes. Whereas CdS dopant with the optimum loading of 1 wt% could significantly enhance the  performance of TiO2 photocatalyst in simultaneous Cr(VI) reduction and phenol oxidation with the highest conversion of ≥ 97 % and 93 %, respectively. Photocatalytic reduction of Pt(IV) under 0.5%ZnO-TiO2 and 1%CdS-TiO2 photocatalysts effectively occurred with a high conversion (> 99 %) in 2 hours irradiation of UV. The optimum precipitation condition of Cr(III) recovery was achieved at pH = 9, with the efficiency of recovery was 91 %. Optimum temperature of leaching process in Pt recovery was 100 oC, with the efficiency of recovery was 86 %.

Abstract

The photocatalytic reduction of hexavalent chromium/Cr(VI) using TiO2 and copper-doped TiO2 as photocatalysts have been studied in stirred tank and circulating photoreactors. All photocatalysts were characterized with FTIR (Fourier Transform Infra Red), BET (Brunauer-Emmett-Teller), XRD (X-Ray Diffraction) and SEM (Scanning Electron Microscope). TiO2 Merck and Degussa P-25 are the commercial photocatalysts used to compare the photocatalytic activity of all the prepared catalysts. Blank test experiments as well as the effect of dopants, EDTA (ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid) and activated carbon addition were studied. Cr(VI) reduction on various pH and initial Cr(VI) concentration were also conducted. The results of the experiments showed that the addition of EDTA as a hole scavenger can increases the activity of all catalysts at about 10%. Rate of Cr(VI) photoreduction is more feasible at low pH and low initial Cr(VI) concentration. The addition of activated carbon (AC) increases the photocatalytic activity at about 5% due to the synergy effect between catalyst and AC. Pure TiO2 powder prepared from TiCl4 has the highest activity in reducing Cr(VI) with the conversion of 80% due to the high crystalline (anatase) and surface area. Photoreduction of Cr(VI) over TiO2 film photocatalyst in circulating photoreactor has not shown a significant result yet. Therefore it is needed to improve furthermore the photoreactor system especially for the film type photocatalyst.

Abstract

ABSTRAK. Produksi Hidrogen dengan menggunakan Fotokatalis Pt (1%)/Titania NanoTube dengan menggunakan Sacrificial agent Metanol dan Gliserol pada temperature reaksi 30 oC sampai dengan 70 oC telah dilakukan dalam suatu system reactor tertentu. Metanol dan Gliserol efektif digunakan pada produksi Hidrogen. Hasil produksi yang diraih oleh Metanol dengan Pt(1%)/TiNT adalah sebesar 2306 µmol/gcat, sementara itu produksi Hidrogen dengan menggunakan Gliserol sebesar 2120 µmol/gcat. Energi aktiviasi estimasi untuk Pt(1%)/TiNT dengan Metanol sebesar 10,869 kJ/mol, sementara dengan menggunakan Gliserol sebesar 11,901 kJ/mol. Penggunaan dopan metal Pt memberikan hasil produksi Hidrogen sebesar dua kali lipat jika dibandingkan dengan tanpa dopan, dengan sacrificial agent yang sama. Kata Kunci : fotokatalis, gliserol, hidrogen, metanol, Pt (1%)/Titania

Abstract

Katalis yang dibuat dari komposit titania, karbon aktif, dan zeolit alam Lampung (TiO2-AC-ZAL) telah berhasil disintesis dengan metode pencampuran mekanik untuk diaplikasikan sebagai bahan masker. Komposit TiO2-AC-ZAL dilapiskan ke alumunium foil dan serat nanas untuk diuji kinerjanya dalam mengeliminasi polutan CO, NOx, dan senyawa hidrokarbon (HC) secara simultan. Kinerja komposit dalam mendegradasi polutan tergantung dari komposisinya, dan komposisi terbaik untuk mengeliminasi ketiga polutan tersebut adalah TiO2 10,0% − AC 8,2% − ZAL − T 81,8%. Kinerja katalis semakin efektif seiring dengan bertambahnya jumlah komposit dalam masker (hingga 10 g). Pada penelitian ini, pengaruh konsentrasi awal polutan juga dipelajari dan diperoleh bahwa semakin tinggi konsentrasi awal polutan maka laju eliminasi polutan semakin besar, meskipun waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk mencapai ambang batas baku mutu lebih lama. Secara keseluruhan, hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa masker anti polutan yang direkayasa sudah cukup layak untuk mendegradasi polutan CO, NOx, dan HC secara simultan, sehingga potensi aplikasinya cukup menjanjikan.

Abstract

Titania (TiO2) merupakan salah satu material fotokatalis yang banyak diteliti dewasa ini kerena mempunyai banyak keunggulan dan aplikasi. Secara umum TiO2 masih memiliki kelemahan karena luas permukaannya yang rendah, tingginya laju rekombinasi elektron dan hole (e- dan h+), serta besarnya nilai energi band gap. SintesisTiO2 dengan morfologi nanotube array (TNTAs) secara anodisasi menarik banyak para peneliti karena meningkatkan luas permukaan TiO2, dan mengefektifkan penyerapan foton dan transport elektron pada proses fotokatalisis. Untuk mengurangi laju rekombinasi e- dan h+ serta memperkecil nilai energi band gap, modifikasi TiO2 nanotube dengan dopan logam maupun non logam tertentu juga sering dilakukan agar fotokatalis tersebut memberikan kinerja yang lebih baik. Review ini difokuskan pada kemajuan terkini dari TiO2 nanotube, terutama dalam hal sintesis TNTAs secara anodisasi, modifikasi TNTAs, serta potensi aplikasinya dalam produksi hidrogen dan pengolahan limbah.

Abstract

Modifikasi fotokatalis TiO2 dengan batu apung sebagai penyangga untuk mendegradasi senyawa fenol telah dilakukan. Batu apung yang sudah mengalami perlakuan awal dilapisi oleh sol TiO2, yang berasal dari prekursor TiO2 P25, dengan menggunakan metode dip coating. Komposit TiO2-batu apung tersebut dikarakterisasi dengan SEM-EDS dan BET, kemudian diaplikasikan untuk mendegradasi fenol dengan menggunakan reaktor batch yang dilengkapi oleh lampu merkuri 250 W. Konsentrasi fenol dianalisis dengan Spektrofotometer UV-Vis. Hasil eksperimen menunjukkan bahwa penambahan udara pada sistem reaksi dapat meningkatkan kinerja katalis komposit. Pengaruh tersebut lebih nyata pada komposit dengan loading TiO2 rendah (2,5%) yang mencapai sekitar 5 kali lipat. Pada katalis 2,5%TiO2-batu apung, laju alir udara optimal dicapai pada 100 ml/menit, dengan tingkat degradasi terhadap 10 ppm fenol mencapai 100% selama 2,5 jam. Sementara itu pada katalis 25%TiO2-batu apung, waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk degradasi fenol sampai batas baku mutu (0,5 ppm) pada konsentrasi awal fenol 10 ppm, 50 ppm, 100 ppm, dan 1000 ppm masing- masing adalah 3 jam; 5,7 jam; 6,9 jam; dan 16,9 jam.

Abstract

Abstract: the problem in this research was that the accuracy of passing the SMKN 5 Pekanbaru players was still missing, as evidenced by various tests and official competitions, and this was one of the factors that caused the defeat. This type of research is a form of experimental research to see the effect of the form of training. The purpose of this research was to see the effect of training the ball on the goal against the accuracy of passing on the SMKN 5 Pekanbaru football team. The population in this research consisted of a team of  SMKN 5 Pekanbaru, with a total of 14 people. The sampling technique is the use of total sampling, whereby the total population is sample. Data collection techniques obtained from the pre-test and the post-test. The instrument in this research used the Test that kicks the ball using the inner leg as a tool to measure the accuracy of passing. The analysis was performed using the t test. Based on data analysis and discussion, the results of the Tcount were 6.67 and Ttabel were 1.761. Means Tcount> Ttable, At the level of α= 0.05. It can then be concluded that there is a significant influence from the practice of looking the ball at the goal of the Pekanbaru SMKN 5 team. Key Words: Kick the ball into the goal, accuracy of passing

Abstract

Abstract: As for the problems in extracurricular students at SMAN 13 Pekanbaru, the result of shot put is not optimal. This research aims to find out how much influence the push-up exercise has on the results shot put on the athletic extracurricular students of SMAN 13 Pekanbaru. This research is experimental research. The population in this research were extracurricular students, the sample in this research amounted to 10 people. The technique of collecting data is shot put tests conducted before and after doing push-up exercises. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively and inferentially. The hypothesis proposed in this research is that there are effect of push-up exercises on the results shot put on athletic extracurricular students at SMAN 13 Pekanbaru. The results of the t test resulted in tcount of 4.51 and t table of 1.833 with an error rate of 0.05 (5%). Means t count> t table. This gives a conclusion that there is a significant push-up effect on the results of shot put in athletic extracurricular students at SMAN 13 Pekanbaru and concluded that Ho was rejected.Key Words: Push-ups, shot put

Abstract

Abstract: Based on the analysis carried out, throughout the research conducted by researchers when they encountered problems with the dribble ability of SMAN 1 Lubuk Dalam football team players who were not fast and good so that they could be easily captured by opposing players which led to the failure of the attack, the researchers began researching and provide a fast Dribble Relay exercise that begins with a free test to prove the influence of the exercise being implemented.As for population and sample here is SMAN 1 Lubuk Dalam football team. By using the ball dribbling speed test instrument then descriptive analysis was carried out and the liliefors test produced a normal data.Based on data obtained after and before the exercise, the t-count between the initial test and the final test of the Dribble Relay exercise on dribble speed shows a number of 4.941. Furthermore, the value obtained is compared with the table at the 0.05 significance level with the degree of freedom N-1 (15) turned out to show the number 1.753, this indicates that the value of tcount (4.941)> t table (1.753), it can be concluded that the hypothesis states the effect of the Dribble Relay exercise on the Dribble Speed of the SMAN 1 Football Team Lubuk Dalam. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be summarized as follows: Related to dribble relay exercise on the speed (X) on dribbling speed (Y) in SMAN 1 Lubuk Dalam football team. Abstract

Dalam kehidupan individu ada berbagai cara untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang dihadapi, secara umum ada 3 strategi, yaitu (1) emotion-focused coping, (2)problem-focused coping, dan (3) avoidance coping. Sementara itu, agama memberikan peran bagi individu dalam proses coping yaitu (a) menawarkan maknakehidupan, (b) memberikan sense of control terbesar dalam mengatasi situasi, dan (c) membangun self esteem.
