Abstract

Achievement of coverage of exclusive breastfeeding is one of the problems in Indonesia, both on the national and local levels. According to the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia achievement of exclusive breastfeeding in Indonesia at 80%. While the coverage of exclusive breastfeeding in Lahat regency still far below the national target. According to data from the Department of Health Lahat which saw a row of 37.15% (2009), 68.47% (2010), 36.58% (2011), 24.92% (2012) and 24.68% ( 2013). The study aimed to determine the prevalence of exclusive breastfeeding in the District Lahat, District and Sub-District West Merapi Gumay Ulu, and to identifies the influence of maternal characteristics on exclusive breastfeeding in the District Lahat, District and Sub-District West Merapi Gumay Ulu. The data used are primary data and interpretation of results using a logistic regression model approach. The study design was cross-sectional with a sample of 73 respondents mothers of children 6-12 months who come to Posyandu health centers in Region Research. Data were collected through interviews unified. Variables used include maternal age, maternal education, maternal employment status, maternal birth attendants, type of childbirth mother, IMD, mother's knowledge and mother attitude. The study's findings showed the prevalence of exclusive breastfeeding in the research area, District Lahat, District and Sub-District West Merapi Gumay Ulu respectively - helped by 36.2%, 58.3%, and 0%. Overall the proportion of mothers who exclusively breastfed for 38.4%. The results of logistic regression showed that the variables maternal age, maternal education, IMD, knowledge and attitudes of mothers are maternal characteristics that influence exclusive breastfeeding. From the research conducted, it was found that the most dominant variables potentially affecting exclusive breastfeeding is the IMD.

Abstract

Progress of Science and Technology should be followed with the Iman and Takwa (IMTAK), unfortunately , if there are still many people who can not read the letters hijaiyah which is the basis of the Quran. Society has now been busy with various activitas so they are difficult to study with Ustad or Ustadza about hijaiyah letters. To overcome this problem the authors make an application using a Pocket PC because it is easy to use, easy to carry and facilitate the public in learning letters hijaiyah. Making this application the writer use waterfall method which consists of systems engineering, software requirements analysis, design, programming, testing, and maintenance, while the programming language using Microsoft Visual Basic.NET. With this application can help people who can not read the letters hijaiyah quickly and easily understood, because the application is equipped with a sound that existed at the pictures hijaiyah the letter. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to assist and facilitate the administration of particular data processing student data, teacher data, facilitate the search for student data and teacher data, and make the data - the data is computerized and systematically arranged. This research method using waterfall method stages - stage consists of system requirements analysis, system design, writing code, testing programs and maintenance of applications, while the data collection method using the library research such as collecting data through a book - a book or magazine that is relevant to relate to application to be built. With this application, it is expected that schools have become schools for which data are computerized, so that it can improve the quality of administrative services at the school. Abstract

Technological developments have made life easier. It can be seen from the sophistication of television sets, mobile phones, computers to household appliances, it makes it easy for anyone inside. Universitas Bina Darma is one of the University has been using information technology to provide convenience to students to access information services. One such technology is the hotspot. The research was conducted at the Universitas Bina Darma with students of Information Management Study Program as its population. In this study there are two types of variables consisting of the independent variables and moderating variables. While the data collected, analyzed by means of correlation and regression analysis SPSS 13.0. Significance Tests Based on the results of Individual Parameters (test statistic t), can be described the results of testing the hypothesis that the use of Hotspot positive effect on the quality of learning. Abstract

Penerapan Pendidikan karakter merupakan sebuah jalan untuk membangun pendidikan yang lebih bermoral. Penulisan artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan menganalisis keteladanan guru dalam penerapan pendidikan karakter disekolah. Artikel ini merupakan hasil analisis dengan mengkaji literatur yang memiliki keterkaitan dengan topik pembahasan. Model yang digunakan adalah studi literatur atau lirature riview. Dari hasil penelaahan, hasil yang didapat menunjukkah bahwa penerapan pendidikan karakter disekolah merupakan tanggung jawab semua warga sekolah, tetapi guru memegang peranan penting dalam pencapaian program tersebut sehingga dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa keberhasilan pendidikan karakter disekolah bergantung dari sejauh mana guru tersebut bisa menjadi teladan siswa-siswinya sehingga untuk mewujudkan siswa yang berkarakter diperlukan guru yang berkarakter pula.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh kedisiplinan dan kemandirian belajar terhadap hasil belajar ekonomi siswa kelas XI jurusan IPS Madrasah Aliyah di Kecamatan Praya. Desain penelitian ini adalah expost facto dengan jenis penelitian assosiatif. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan teknik analisis deskriptif dan regresi linier ganda. Hasil penelitian Madrasah Aliyah di Kecamatan Praya menunjukkan bahwa: (1) ketuntasan belajar siswa sebesar 90,05%; (2) kedisiplinan belajar siswa tergolong rendah dengan rata-rata 44,39; (3) kemandirian belajar siswa tergolong rendah dengan rata-rata 55,23; (4) kedisiplinan belajar berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar ekonomi siswa (thitung=5,22; α=0,00), dengan koefisien determinasi sebesar 28,1%; (5) kemandirian belajar berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar ekonomi siswa (thitung= 2,36; α=0,02), dengan koefisien determinasi sebesar 21,2%; dan  (6) kedisiplinan dan kemandirian belajar secara bersamaan berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar siswa (Fhitung=47,21; α=0,00), dengan koefisien determinasi sebesar 29,6%.Kata Kunci : Kedisiplinan Belajar, Kemandirian Belajar, dan Hasil Belajar

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan proses pembentukan karakter disiplin siswa melalui beberapa identifikasi kultur sekolah. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian deskriptif, karena penelitian ini hanya menggambarkan dan melukiskan mengenai proses pembentukan karakter disiplin siswa melalui beberapa identifikasi kultur sekolah. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan dilakukan melalui wawancara, dokumentasi dan observasi. Subjek penelitian dalam penelitian ini ditentukan secara purposive, yaitu pemilihan subjek penelitian secara sengaja oleh peneliti berdasarkan tujuan dan kriteria tertentu. Penentuan subjek penelitian didasarkan pada ciri-ciri atau karakteristik tertentu berdasarkan penilaian subjektivitas peneliti. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis induktif. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa karakter disiplin siswa terbentuk melalui beberapa identifikasi kultur sekolah yakni artifak sekolah, tata tertib, ritus atau upacara-upacara, dan nilai-nilai atau keyakinan yang dianut warga sekolah. Dengan demikian disiplin sangat penting untuk perkembangan siswa agar berhasil mencapai hidup yang bahagia, bisa beradaptasi dengan baik dalam lingkungan sosial termasuk di lingkungan sekolah. Upaya pembentukan karakter disiplin siswa di sekolah mencakup segala hal yang mempengaruhi siswa untuk membantu mereka agar dapat memahami dan menyesuaikan diri dengan tuntutan lingkungan.AbstractThis study aims to explain the process of shaping the character of student discipline through several identifications of school culture. This research is included in the descriptive study because this research only describes and illustrates the process of forming the character of student discipline through some identification of school culture. This research is qualitative. The collection technique is done through interviews, documentation, and observation. The research subjects in this study were determined purposively, namely the deliberate selection of research subjects by researchers based on specific objectives and criteria. The determination of the research subject is based on certain characteristics or characteristics based on the assessment of the subjectivity of the researcher. The data analysis technique used is the inductive analysis technique. The results of the study concluded that the character of student discipline was formed through some identification of school culture namely school artifacts, discipline, rites or ceremonies, and the values or beliefs held by school residents. Thus the discipline is very important for student development to achieve a happy life, can adapt well in the social environment, including in the school environment. Efforts to shape the character of student discipline at school include everything that affects students to help them understand and adjust to the demands of the environment.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the 21st century skills values contained in the fifth grade student?s book sub theme 1 (Human and Environment). The method used is content analysis with data reduction stages, data exposure, and drawing conclusions. Data source in this study is buku lingkungan sahabat kita, the 2013 thematic integrated curriculum book for SD/MI grade V. The results of this study indicate that 21st century skills have been developed in learning activities, let?s discuss, let?s write, let?s observe, let?s try, let?s practice, let?s sing, let?s sing, let?s contemplate, and activities with parents.

Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan budaya patriarki dan akses perempuan dalam pendidikan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu studi pustaka yang berasal dari berbagai sumber seperti dari buku, jurnal, laporan dan data dari Badan Pusat Statistik. Hasil kajian ini adalah budaya patriarki sudah melekat dalam masyarakat yang menganggap bahwa yang harus mendapatkan pendidikan yang utama adalah anak laki-laki. Hal ini menyebabkan akses perempuan untuk mengenyam pendidikan terhambat karena masalah kultur yang ada dalam masyarakat. Keadaan ini dapat dilihat berdasarkan data persentase melek huruf untuk perempuan berjumlah 83,42 sedangkan laki-laki 91,86.  Data ini juga didukung data Index Pembangunan Manusia laki-laki mencapai 75,43 sementara Index Pembangunan Manusia perempuan sebesar 68,63. Data ini menunjukkan tingkat pendidikan perempuan terutama pada pendidikan tinggi rendah. Realitas ini tentunya bertentangan dengan tujuan pendidikan nasional yang tidak membedakan akses pendidikan berdasarkan jenis kelamin semuanya berhak mendapatkan pendidikan.
