Abstract

Varietas hibrida tomat telah banyak digunakan oleh petani dan tersebar luas diberbagai sentra produksi sayuran.Peningkatan permintaan dan kebutuhan akan varietas unggul baru tomat juga terus meningkat dari tahun ke tahun. Untuk menunjangpeningkatan permintaan produk tanaman tersebut, melalui kegiatan pemuliaan, Balai Penelitian Tanaman Sayuran (Balitsa) telahmendapatkan beberapa galur harapan F1 hibrida. Untuk mengetahui produktivitas dan kualitas galur-galur harapan tersebut padalokasi yang berbeda, uji daya hasil lanjutan galur-galur tersebut sangat diperlukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dayahasil galur-galur F1 hibrida di Jawa Timur. Penelitian dilakukan di lahan petani, Desa Santrian, Kecamatan Batu, Kota AdministrasiBatu, Jawa Timur, dengan jenis tanah Latosol kecoklatan dan ketinggian + 800 m dpl. dari bulan Juli sampai dengan November2010. Sepuluh (10) galur F1 tomat hibrida harapan dari Balitsa yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah (1) GH.F1-T-1; (2)GH.F1-T-2; (3) GH.F1-T-3; (4) GH.F1-T-4; (5) GH.F1-T-5; (6) GH.F1-T-6; (7) GH.F1-T-7; (8) GH.F1-T-8; (9) GH.F1-T-9; dan(10) GH.F1-T-10 serta dua varietas tomat F1 yaitu hibrid Marta dan Giok. Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialahacak kelompok dengan empat ulangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa galur tomat F1 hibrida dari Balitsa yaitu GH.F1-T-6mempunyai kualitas dan produktivitas terbaik dibanding galur harapan dan varietas pembanding. Galur GH.F1-T-6 memilikiproduktivitas buah hingga 5,9 kg per pohon dan jumlah buah 50,9 butir per pohon. Hasil ini membuktikan bahwa terdapat galurharapan F1 hibrid hasil pemuliaan Balitsa yang memiliki potensi besar dikembangkan didaerah Jawa Timur, khususnya DesaSantrian, Kec. Batu, Kota Administratif Batu.ABSTRACThybrid varieties have been generally used by farmer and distributed in several vegetable production areas. To support increasingdemand and need of new superior tomato varieties, via breeding activity, Indonesian Vegetable Research Institute (IVEGRI)released several potential lines of F1 hybrids. To know productivity and quality of the potential lines in different cultivation area,the potential quality and productivity field trial test for the lines were addressed. Objective of the study was to know the productivityand quality of the IVEGRI tomato potential lines in East Java. The research was conducted at Santrian Village, Batu Subdistrict,Batu Administrative City, Malang-East Java in 800 m asl. and brownish Latosol soil type from July to November 2010. Ten (10)promising of tomato F1 hybrid lines tested in the study were (1) GH.F1-T-1; (2) GH.F1-T-2; (3) GH.F1-T-3; (4) GH.F1-T-4;(5) GH.F1-T-5; (6) GH.F1-T-6; (7) GH.F1-T-7; (8) GH.F1-T-8; (9) GH.F1-T-9; and (10) GH.F1-T-10, and two hybrid tomatoesF1 i.e. Marta and Giok for control. Randomized complete block design with four replications was used in the experiment. Theresults showed that GHF1-T-6 line from IVEGRI had the highest quality and productivity compared to others. The line had fruitproductivity up to 5.9 kg/plant and number of fruits up to 50.9 fruits per plant. Results of the study gave real evidence that therewas a promising line of F1 hybrid derived from IVEGRI breeding activity having high potential developed in East Java, especially in Santrian Village, Batu Subdistrict, Batu Administrative City, Malang.

Abstract

The different varieties used are the same growing environment will provide an overview of the application of varieties. The different varieties used are aimed at seeing the right variety for planting in the highlands as well as a better appearance. The research was carried out in the home screen of the experimental garden of the Vegetable Research Institute located in Cikole Village, Lembang District, West Bandung Regency. From September to December 2020. The research method used was a single factor randomized block design (RBD) with 9 replications. Treatment 3 was A (Bima Brebes variety), B (Pancasona variety), and C (Violetta-2 variety) so there were 27 experimental units. Treatment analysis with analysis test and analysis test 5% is significant, so to see the best treatment with the Least Significant Different (LSD) test at the 5% level. The results showed that there was a significant effect of varieties on plant height, number of leaves, number of tillers, tuber length, tuber diameter, wet tuber weight per plant, wet tuber weight per plot and dry tuber weight per plot. Treatment C (Violetta-2 variety) gave the highest yield in plants (49.81 cm), number of leaves (16.76), tuber length (26.60 mm), tuber diameter (20.69 mm), wet tuber weight. per plant (20.72 grams), wet tuber weight per plot (60.14 grams), and dry tuber weight per plot (49.81 grams). Meanwhile, treatment B (Pancasona variety) gave the highest yield in the number of tillers (4.59 tillers). Keywords : Agronomy, Highlands, Morphology, Shallots, Varieties

Abstract

Onion cultivation depends on soil fertility levels and watering sources that fit the needs of plants as well as the lack of available land in urban make plantings done with a polybag scale scope so that the results of plant responses to water needs can be seen based on these aspects of physiology, morphology, growth rates, as well as productivity. As for the variety type differences in the cultivation process in a different growing environment can provide the best picture of the variety type results that can be cultivated according to their growing ability and growing environment influence. Research is implemented in the Vegetable Plant Research Hall experimental garden screenhouse located in Cikole Village, Lembang Subdistrict, West Bandung County. In September to December 2020. The research method used is the experimental method using the Group Random Design (RAK) factorial. There are two factors with 4 treatments each repeated 6 times so there are 24 units of experiments. The effect of treatment is analyzed with the variety print and when F test is 5% significant, then to know the treatment best continued with the DMRT (Duncan Multiple Range Test) follow-up test at 5% degree. he results of the study showed that there was no effect of interaction between watering applications of water with the type of onion varieties. But there is a self-contained influence of watering applications and types of onion varieties on some research parameters. The treatment of p2 water water watering application (every 2 days watering) gives the highest yield to the diameter of the tuber (16.29 mm). As for onion treatment the variety Agrihorti-2 (d2) gives the highest yield at plant height (35.76 cm), long (5.83 mm). And for onions the variety of pancasona (d1) gives the highest yield at the diameter of the tuber (15.69 mm).

Abstract

Shallot are one of the popular horticultural commodities that have high economic value in Indonesia. The purpose of this research is to know which variety of shallot that yield the best morphological characters performance in Lembang. This research was conducted at Vegetable Crops Research Institute Lembang, from September to December 2020. The research method used an experimental method single-factor experiment Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) consisting of 2 treatments that were repeated 16 times so there are 32 experimental units in total, to find out the best treatment was conducted with Fisher’s Least Significant Difference Test (Fisher’s LSD). The result of research showed that shallot varieties have a significant effect on number of leaves, leaves color, tubers color, tubers shape, dry weight of plants per plot and dry weight of tubers per plot parameter. Treatment of Katumi shallot variety gave the highest yield on parameter tuber diameter (1,88 cm), tuber length (2,42 cm), wet weight of sample plants (63,69 gram), wet weight of plants per plot (704,03 gram), dry weight of sample plants (43,87 gram), dry weight of plants per plot (458,60 gram), dry weight of tuber per sample (40,64 gram) and dry weight of tuber per plot (422,48 gram) meanwhile Violetta 3 Agrihorti shallot variety gave the highest yield on parameter plant height (48,22 cm), number of leaves (42,93 blade), number of tillers (11,40 tillers) and number of tubers (12,60 tubers).
