<![CDATA[Diabetes mellitus is a collection of symptoms that arise in a person due to the body experiencing interference in controlling blood sugar levels. Exercise is a good way to help overcome the problem of diabetes mellitus. Because with diabetes sports can get a healthy body and entertainment facilities that are done together with people who experience the same suffering. The type of exercise recommended is aerobics, which is exercise that can increase the capacity of the heart and lungs and make insulin work more efficiently. The research method uses the experimental method. The total sample of 24 people taken using total sampling techniques. Where the samples taken were 24 elderly people. The instrument used is the KGD tool, where there are values of different average blood sugar levels before 261.33 mg / dl and after 23.538 mg / dl elderly gymnastics are performed. Conclusion there is the influence of elderly exercise on blood sugar levels in diabetes.]]>

<![CDATA[Patient satisfaction is the focus of hospital services, where competition between hospitals is common nowadays so that patients who are satisfied with the services they provide will come back. this is an assessment given to patients on health services that are obtained as expected starting from reception until the patient goes home (Sitorus. 2021). Satisfaction will have an impact on improving health services in the future so that it remains low even though there are many hospitals that are growing. This type of research is an analytic survey with a cross sectional design. The population used was all 96 pulmonary polyclinic patients with a sample of 32 people using purposive sampling technique. The results showed that there was a relationship between patient satisfaction on tangible dimensions (0.000 < 0.005), reliability (0.000 < 0.005), responsiveness (0.490 > 0.005), assurance (0.281 > 0.005), empathy (0.000 < 0.005) and waiting time for registration. The conclusion of this study is the relationship between waiting time for registration and patient satisfaction in the outpatient registration section of Grandmed Lubuk Pakam Hospital]]>

<![CDATA[Increasing the degree of maternal and child health continues to be carried out in Indonesia which is the achievement of the MDGs program. One program included in this program is Improving Maternal and Child Health. Based on the 2012 Indonesian Demographic and Health Survey (IDHS), the maternal mortality rate was 359 per 100,000 live births. This figure is still far from the target set in the MDGs, which is 102 per 100,000 live births in 2015. To achieve this target, the Maternal and Neonatal Survival (EMAS) program was created which focused on reducing maternal and child mortality. This study was conducted qualitatively with a case study design to evaluate the implementation of the EMAS program. Research locations in Batang Kuis Health Center and Sembiring Delitua Hospital. The informants of this study were the heads of the puskesmas, coordinating midwives, hospital management and the community. In-depth interviews were carried out using guidelines, by analyzing the results transcripts and describing them in the form of a matrix.From the results of the study it was found that the EMAS program in the first year had not reached the target because the application of the Information and Communication System of the Emergency Referral Network, the Public Health Gate Information System and the Strengthening and Learning Information System had not been implemented only in the system development stage. This is due to the lack of human resources in terms of technology and limited internet networks due to the different geographical conditions of each puskesmas. Suggestions to the health office and Puskesmas provide facilities and infrastructure in the implementation of the information system because this system focuses on addressing maternal and child emergencies by using the internet and SMS gateway as well as improving the ability of health workers to apply]]>

<![CDATA[Exclusive breastfeeding is breastfeeding for the first 6 months without drinks or eat other food additives. The low exclusive breastfeeding is a reason for the high infant mortality rate in Indonesia. The research aims to know the factors that effect of giving exclusive breastfeeding toward working mothers at Grandmed Hospital Lubuk Pakam such as the supporting of husband, breastfeeding place facilities, and the additional rest time. This research included an analytic observational quantitative study with a cross sectional design. The population is 21 person of working mothers. Data collection techniques are used questionnaires. The statistical test used in this research is chi-square and simple linear regression. The theoretical basis is the Green and Kreutzer Behavior Theory (1980). Based on the results and analysis of research, it was found that the majority of respondents aged are 26-30, with last education is D3, and they had babies aged 1-2 months. A total of 66.7% provide exclusive breastfeeding. There is a relationship of supporting husband with the giving of exclusive breastfeeding. The most dominant factor influenced giving of exclusive breastfeeding is husband's support factor where p-value=0,012<α(0.05). It is suggest for management of Grandmed Hospital to provide facilities that support Breastfeeding Corner like a icebox in the workplace and provide the opportunity to express milk during working hours]]>

<![CDATA[Complaints of neck pain are a complaint on the part of the skeletal muscle as a result of forced movement and receiving heavy loads for a long time. Tailoring is one of the jobs that has a high risk of experiencing neck pain complaints. The rotation of the spine when the body is bending is a factor in neck pain complaints that are often complained of by tailors. This work activity will indirectly endanger health. This study aims to determine the relationship between workload and work period with complaints of neck pain in tailors at the Lubuk Pakam Training Institute in 2020. The type of research used is quantitative with a cross sectional design. The population of this study were 30 workers at the Lubuk Pakam training institute using the total sampling technique. Data collection by questionnaire. Data analysis used the chi-square test at the level of confidence level of 95% and α = 0.05. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between workload (p = 0.024) and length of service (p-0.016) with complaints of neck pain in tailors at the Lubuk Pakam Training Institute. It is advisable for tailors to pay more attention to health and safety while working without forcing the body to work and regulating good working hours, adequate rest, stretching while working and paying attention to the dangers that can occur in the work environment]]>

<![CDATA[Hemoglobin is a protein that is rich in iron. The function of Hb in the blood is to carry oxygen to the lungs, to the tissues and to carbon dioxide. Efforts to increase hemoglobin levels are related to the intake of foods containing iron, one of which is the provision of green bean cooking water. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of giving mung bean boiled water to an increase in hemoglobin levels in office workers at Rs.Grandmed Lubuk Pakam. This research design with one group pre test-post test. The population in this study were employees of Rs.Grandmed. The number of research samples were 48 workers for the total sampling. Data analysis using paired t-test. The results showed that the HB level of workers before giving green bean cooking water was not normal, namely 39 (81.3%) respondents with an average of 1.81. The HB levels of workers after giving green bean boiled water were all normal HB categories, namely as many as 48 (100%) respondents with an average of 1.00. Data analysis using pre-test and post-test giving green bean boiled water in the experimental group showed results where the p value was 0.000, the value was 0.000 <0.05, so it could be said that there was a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test values. hypothesis is accepted. The conclusion of this study is that there is an effect of giving mung bean boiled water to an increase in hemoglobin levels in office workers at the Grandmed Lubuk Pakam Hospital. It is hoped that the hospital leadership will educate the workers that green bean cooking water can be used as an alternative to increasing hemoglobin levels.]]>

<![CDATA[COVID-19iisianiinfectiousidiseaseicaused by SARS-CoV-2, cases are increasing and spreading rapidly throughout Indonesia. Batu Bara Regency is one of the districts that has experienced an increase in confirmed cases of COVID-19. The success ofitheiCOVID-19ihealth protocol is largely determined by the compliance of the community in carrying out the 3M movement, namely using masks, washing hands with soap, and maintaining physical distance. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between respondent characteristics and family support with compliance with the COVID-19 prevention health protocol in Datuk Lima Puluh District, Batu Bara Regency. This study was an observational analytic study with a cross sectional design. The population in this study were all people in Datuk Lima Puluh Subdistrict, Batu Bara Regency, amounting to 23,717 people and a total sample of 393 people. Data collection was carried out by interview guided by a questionnaire. Data analysis was performed by univariate and bivariate with the chi-square test. The results of the chi-square test show that there is a relationship between education and family support and adherence to the COVID-19 preventive health protocol. It is hoped that the health office and puskesmas can improve health socialization related to the prevention of COVID-19 so that people can comply with health protocols.]]>

<![CDATA[At the end of 2019 a new virus was discovered which is now an infectious disease outbreak around the world and WHO (World Health Organization) gives the name of the virus that is currently endemic as Covid-19 (Corona Virus Diseases 2019). This research is a qualitative research that aims to collect in-depth data from sources or informants by conducting direct interviews. The number of informants in this study were 10 people. The data collection is done by direct observation to field conducted in-depth interviews of workers and equipped with recording equipment sound made to 10 informants. The results of the research carried out are that there are workers who have not been able to carry out and implement health protocols in accordance with the recommendations of the government. Of the several health protocols that exist at the Slaughter Goat Research Workshop, there are health protocols that have been violated by workers, namely all workers do not wear masks when in the work environment, the absence of workers who apply physical or social distancing during work or during rest hours, water and hand washing soap are not provided and hand sanitizers are never used and are only for display in the office, and workers believe that it is impossible for fellow workers to transmit the Covid-19 virus to fellow workers although there are already some workers in Loka Penelitian Kambing Potong who have contracted the virus, they are not worried and are not afraid of it. The advice that can be given is that workers must be aware of the importance of implementing health protocols and Loka Penelitian Kambing Potong should provide guidance and direction to workers in an effort to suppress the decline in Covid-19 cases]]>
