Abstract

Politeknik Negeri Tanah Laut has several web-based systems that have been implemented. The systems built are still standalone and not yet integrated, so users must have different accounts on each system. Users must remember each account to access the system and for security reasons users usually change their passwords regularly. This Password change process will take a long time considering that every change made is directly proportional to the number of existing systems. Therefore we need a system that can integrate user accounts and manage the authentication and authorization process. This process requires an additional server that acts as a liaison between the system integrator and the application service system. The purpos of this research is to create an innovative system that can handle all authentication and authorization of each application system and is known as the Single Sign On (SSO) system. So that the benefits of research from the existence of a Single Sign On system, users only by using one user account can access many systems without entering repeated Usernames and passwords. In practice, user account data is retrieved from Cloud Identity via Secure LDAP, then user data is managed by the RADIUS Server and distributed to existing application service systems. The research has been successfully carried out and implemented on a website owned by the Politeknik Negeri Tanah Laut, with the implementation of Single Sign On, login to the website only by using the same Username and password.

Abstract

Abstrak Pandemi COVID-19 masih juga belum berakhir. Hingga saat ini tercatat total kasus di Indonesia sebanyak 2,16 juta kasus dengan kematian sebanyak 58.024 angka dan 1,87 juta angka kesembuhan. Pemerintah terus berupaya untuk menekan angka penyebaran dengan membuat regulasi mulai PPKM mikro hingga Lockdown di beberapa wilayah. Ketersediaan vaksin juga menjadi fokus pemerintah untuk dapat memenuhi target jumlah penduduk di Indonesia. Tidak dipungkiri dengan adanya regulasi dari pemerintah menjadikan interaksi antar warga terbatas, sehingga agar dapat tetap berinteraksi satu sama lain dalam rangka bekerja, bersosialisasi, belajar dan lainnya warga terpaksa harus akrab dengan teknologi. Berdasarkan hal tersebut diperlukan Digital Skills agar dapat beradaptasi dan tetap bertahan. Kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat bertujuan untuk membuka wawasan generasi muda dalam menghadapi migrasi dalam berkehidupan ke arah penggunaan teknologi. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan secara daring pada 28 Juni 2021 dengan melibatkan kurang lebih 35 pemuda-pemudi berlatar belakang mahasiswa, aktivis dan penggerak desa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penyampaian materi kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah metode penyadaran atau peningkatan pemahaman terhadap sesuatu masalah. Adapun hasil yang didapatkan dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan sosialisasi ini berupa: 1) membuka wawasan baru mengenai pentingnya memiliki Digital Skills, 2) memberikan pemahaman terhadadap peserta mengenai berbagai bidang yang membutuhkan keahlian dalam Digital Skills, dan 3) memberikan pemahaman kepada peserta bahwa memiliki keahlian atau skill digital dapat menjadikan sumber penghasilan atau memunculkan jenis pekerjaan baru. The government continues to strive to reduce the number of spreads by making regulations ranging from micro PPKM to Lockdown in several areas. The availability of vaccines is also the focus of the government to be able to meet the target population in Indonesia. It is undeniable that the existence of regulations from the government makes interaction between citizens limited, so that in order to continue to interact with each other in the context of working, socializing, studying and others, citizens are forced to be familiar with technology. Based on this, digital skills are needed in order to adapt and survive. Community Service Activities aim to open the horizons of the younger generation in dealing with migration in life towards the use of technology. This activity was carried out online on 28 June 2021 by involving approximately 35 young people with student backgrounds, activists and village activists. The method used in delivering the material for this community service activity is the method of raising awareness or increasing understanding of a problem. The results obtained in the implementation of this socialization activity are: 1) opening new insights about the importance of having digital skills, 2) providing understanding to participants about various fields that require expertise in digital skills, and 3) providing understanding to participants that they have expertise or skills. digital can be a source of income or give rise to new types of work. Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memudahkan para pembudidaya tanaman hidroponik dalam memantau kondisi dari tanaman hidroponik secara real-time. Kualitas air pada tanaman hidroponik merupakan faktor yang sangat penting karena berpengaruh terhadap perkembangan dari tanaman itu sendiri. Permasalahan yang sering dialam oleh para pembudidaya adalah pemeriksaan kualitas air pada bak penampungan air masih dilakukan secara manual, yaitu dengan cara memeriksa langsung bak penampungan air setiap hari. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan sistem monitoring hidroponik berbasis andoroid. Sistem monitoring ini dibangun dengan menggunakan framework ionic dan apache cordova. Ionic merupakan framework yang digunakan untuk membuat user interface aplikasi mobile menggunakan HTML5 dan AngularJS. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian sistem monitoring ini telah mampu menampilkan kondisi kualitas air pada bak penampungan air seperti kondisi pH air, suhu air, nutrisi dan level ketinggian air secara real-time.

Abstract

Learning media is now very developed where everyone can learn anywhere by using a smartphone to get the material or learning they want to know. Everyone needs learning usually starting from the basic learning taught since childhood. Where basic learning starts from the introduction and writing of letters and numbers. It is necessary to know how to write letters and numbers so that the writing can be done more effectively. A child who is just learning to write is likely to have difficulty in recognizing letters and numbers. So that the author provides solutions, among others, by building a web-based bilingual letters and numbers learning media application to overcome these problems. This application is built with the waterfall method and uses PHP and MySQL programming languages. This web-based application bilingual learning media of writing letters and numbers can help parents in teaching their children in terms of how to write letters and numbers that are good, correct, easy and fun. This application has interactive videos so that it is more interesting and educative. In addition, this application uses two languages, Indonesian and English. Where when the numbers and letters are clicked, the sound will be heard in Indonesian and English. The data that has been successfully collected is in the form of letters and numbers taken from books, journals, articles, websites.

Abstract

The State Polytechnic of Tanah Laut is a college located in Tanah Laut Regency, established on September 25, 2009. The college currently offers three majors: Informatics Engineering, Agricultural Industrial Technology, and Automotive Machinery, as well as one study program in Accounting. The current system at The State Polytechnic of Tanah Laut is semi-computerized, with many processes still relying on paper, such as the questionnaires used in the Learning Development Center and Education Quality Assurance Center (P4MP). The P4MP questionnaires are currently filled out using soft files in Microsoft Excel instead of paper sheets, but the process is still difficult for lecturers, students, and education staff and requires a significant amount of time for data recording. To address these issues, an application can be developed to assist in the process of filling out P4MP questionnaires at The State Polytechnic of Tanah Laut. The application will be web-based and designed using ERD (Entity Relationship Diagram), DFD (Data Flow Diagram), Flowchart, and will use the programming languages PHP and MySQL as the database.
