Abstract

Frequency falls in the elderly still a problem that often happens in Indonesiaespecially in the Village of Rumah Great Kec Biru-Biru Kabupaten Deli Serdang. High prevalence rates incident falls in the elderly, which makes researchers want to apply the TUG (Timed Up And Go) test through the amount of time provided and the ability of the elderly complete the test series with the time needed by the elderly themselves. This research aims to knowing Relationship of the TUG Test (Timed Up And Go) with Frequency of falls In the elderly in Rumah Great Kec Biru-Biru Kabupaten Deli Serdang. Where is this TUG test used for knowing balance and disruption of walking in the elderly. Data collection begins from March to June 2017 with a total of 64 respondent by using categorical analytic research and cross sectional approach as a sampling method. Research instrument used in the form of a demographic data questionnaire, a TUG (Timed Up And Go) test questionnaire and a Meter Meter. The results showed that the sign value was 0.002 <p-value (0.05) indicating meaningful correlation between TUG Test scores (Timed Up and Go) with Falling Frequency In the elderly. This research is expected can be useful next time in doing the TUG test with the Frequency of Falling in the Elderly

Abstract

Motivation is defined as strength, encouragement, needs, enthusiasm, pressure, or psychological mechanisms that encourage someone or a group of people to achieve certain achievements in accordance with what people want. Integrated service post is one form of health services organized by the community for the community with technical support from local health workers. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the motivation of integrated service postcadres and efforts to increase children under five year visits in the area in the Pamatang Silimahuta Community Health Center work area. The sample was 73 respondents using random sampling techniques. The design of this study used analytic survey research, using the Cross Sectional approach and data collected from respondents using questionnaire sheets. The results showed a relationship between integrated service post cadre motivation and efforts to increase children under five year visits in the Pamatang Silimahuta Community Health Center work area with p value = 0.007 smaller than 0.05. It was suggested to the relevant parties to give awards to cadres so that it could motivate integrated service postcadres to be more active so that it can increase children under five year visit to the integrated service post.

Abstract

Puskesmas is a health service facility that organizes public health efforts and first-level individual health efforts, with greater emphasis on promotive and preventive efforts, to achieve the highest level of public health in the working area. Puskesmas Accreditation is an acknowledgment given by an independent Accreditation provider established by the Minister after meeting Accreditation standards. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between Puskesmas Accreditation Status and Service Quality in Simalungun District. This type of research is analytic to determine the relationship between Puskesmas Accreditation Status and Service Quality in Simalungun District. This study uses a case control study approach (case and control), where independent variables are determined first, then the dependent variable is searched through a questionnaire that has been tested. A sample of 92 people, 46 were sampled for cases (Puskesmas Tiga Dolok) and 46 for controls (puskesmas Huta Bayu) using consecutive sampling techniques. Based on the results of bivariate test studies, that the dimensions of service quality related to the health center accreditation status (p <0.05) are tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, and assurance dimensions. Factors that are not related to the health center accreditation status (p> 0.05) are empathy dimensions. From the multivariate test results, it is known that the most dominant factor on the status of puskesmas accreditation is the quality of service based on the dimensions of responsiveness.

Abstract

Cholesterol is atherogenic or very easy to stick, which then forms plaque on the blood walls. The purpose of this study was to see the effect of garlic on cholesterol levels in the elderly at the Delitua Health Center in 2020. The study design used a group pre-test design test on cholesterol sufferers at the Delitua Health Center in 2020 using a technique of 30 people with purposive sampling technique. Bivariate analysis technique with T test analysis and frequency distribution for univariate (cholesterol levels). The data test method used an observation sheet and a cholesterol level test kit for cholesterol variables. The results of the study: 6 people (50%) had the highest levels of cholesterol before being given garlic, and 1 person (8.3%) had the least 200, and 1 (8.3%) 1 person. , 210 as many as 1 person, after offering garlic the decrease was in the category of 170 (16.7%) as many as 2 people, 179 (16.7%) as many as 2 people, 189 (16.7) as many as 2 people, and the least amount was 169 (8.3%) 1 person, 178 (8.3%) 1 person, 183 (8.3%) 1 person, 188 (8.3%) 1 person, 190 (8.3%) ) as many as 1 person, 198 (8.3%) as many as 1 person. with the results of the T test, 000 shows a p value <0.05 using the SPSS V20.0 application. Conclusion: Based on this, it can be ignored that there is an effect between garlic consumption on reducing cholesterol levels in the elderly. Suggestion: Providing treatment for cholesterol over cholesterol in addition to drugs.
